"Oh? Tell me, what do you want?" Nolan asked curiously.
The woman didn't answer. Under Nolan's confused gaze, she lowered her head and pressed her lips to his.
Nolan's eyes widened, and the instinct to push her away surged within him.
But strangely, he couldn't bring himself to do it. The kiss made his soul feel calm—almost comforted.
They remained like that for several minutes before the woman slowly pulled away.
A thin strand of saliva lingered between their lips, faintly alluring.
"That was my wish. Don't be mad, okay?" the woman said with a faint smile.
Nolan looked at her helplessly. There was no point in being angry—it had already happened.
Besides, he had promised to grant her wish. Getting angry now would mean breaking his own word.
Even so, it had been his first kiss in this life. Having it taken so suddenly stirred a strange, indescribable feeling within him.
"I'm not angry." Nolan shook his head slowly and was about to stand, but the woman held him back.
