Boom!
An explosion suddenly erupted from beneath the ship, followed by a violent jolt that shook everyone on board.
Rafine staggered from side to side but quickly grabbed the ship's railing to steady herself.
The shaking, however, was relentless, sending several soldiers tumbling to the deck, unprepared for the force.
"What's going on?" she asked, her voice trembling as she glanced around.
Beside her, Nolan remained calm, showing not the slightest hint of panic.
He didn't even hold onto the railing. His arms were folded across his chest, as if the shaking affected him not at all. He turned toward the sea below, his gaze sharp and piercing.
"The monster's coming," he muttered softly, yet his words carried clearly to Rafine nearby.
Rafine froze, stunned, and before she could react, a monstrous figure burst from the ocean depths.
Splash!
Seawater sprayed in every direction, drenching everyone nearby. Rafine wiped her face and hurriedly looked up.
