"Though these guys are stupid, foolish, and timid, and even uglier than some limited-time five-star characters with significant roles and high positions in the main storyline of certain Japanese anime-style gacha mobile games, they still have an irreplaceable and important role!"
"Compared to that scumbag over there." "What you said hurts even more, Big Bro."
(Ojama Green) and (Ojama Black) grumbled, but (Ojama Yellow), uncharacteristically, didn't join its brothers. Instead, it said, "Go ahead and use our power, Big Bro!"

One was a Card of unknown significance that Zane Truesdale had Set last Turn in order to draw an extra Card using (Card of Safe Return), and the other was a Card that had been active since the Duel began. "(Time Capsule)?"
"That's right. Two Turns have passed since the activation of (Time Capsule). In the Standby Phase after my Draw Phase ends, your brother Zane Truesdale's legacy (Zane Truesdale off-Field: 'I think I'm still alive') will come into my hand with the destruction of this Card."
"(Time Capsule) is destroyed during the Standby Phase of my second Turn after its activation. Then, the Card banished Face-down by its effect will be added to my hand."
Facing the (Time Capsule) on the Field, Hayato extended his right hand, thumb up, making a pressing motion. The (Time Capsule) was detonated and destroyed, and the Card that had been stored within and blown away was precisely caught by Hayato, whose hand shot up to intercept its trajectory.
Without even looking at the Card he caught, Hayato immediately activated the Card in his hand. "A Spell Card, (Graceful Charity)? A good choice, combining Card Drawing and Milling."
Recalling that at the start of the Duel, Zane Truesdale, going First Turn, had only Summoned a (Proto-Cyber Dragon) and then ended his Combo with a Perfect Hand, Hayato thought that if it were him, he'd also consider using something like (Reload), a "life reset gun," to change his hand.
"Now, by the effect of (Graceful Charity), I draw three Cards from my Deck, then discard two Cards from my hand." Drawing three Cards into his hand, Hayato unhesitatingly selected the Cards to discard. "You two are chosen! (Ojama Black) and (Ojama Green), sacrifice yourselves for the greater good!"
"Wh-what?!" Hearing Hayato's words, the two (Ojama) brothers revealed expressions of terror.

However, the comedic (Ojama) trio's spectacular betrayal performance was only visible to those who could see Duel Monster Spirits. Most people watching this Duel merely saw Hayato simply send the Cards to the Graveyard. Syrus, though, watched Hayato unhesitatingly use the (Graceful Charity) left by Zane Truesdale, completely perplexed.
"How did you know it was (Graceful Charity) when it was banished Face-down?" Syrus asked with a bewildered expression. "Using his Card without knowing what Zane Truesdale banished, that's absolutely impossible."
"No, it's entirely possible, kid," Hayato said, glancing at the three Cards he had drawn into his hand. "Those who walk the same path are companions, but those who can share joy and sorrow on different paths are friends. Though you share the same blood, the connection between you and Zane Truesdale is far less intimate than the one between him and me, who've only met once, or perhaps twice."
"That is the Purity of a Duelist. You, who merely view Cards as tools, wouldn't understand."
Hearing Hayato's words, Syrus looked at Zane Truesdale, who Marik had dragged off-Field, and clenched his fist. "Who would believe that? Leaving aside everything else, you even said your Deck was 'Pure Cyber Style', but (Ojama) Monsters aren't 'Cyber Style' Cards at all!"
"No, this *is* 'Cyber Style', because I, Hayato, have decreed it to be so. Do you have a problem with that?" Hayato pressed a button on his Duel Disk. "Not only that, I'm also activating this Set Card left by Zane Truesdale, Trap Card (Necro Fusion)! I will banish Fusion Material Monsters from my Graveyard Face-down to Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck, and the Fusion Materials I choose are (Ojama Black) and (Ojama Green), which were just sent to the Graveyard."
"Two (Ojama) Monsters fusing... is it (Ojama Knight)?" Joey (off-Field) pondered. Hayato remembered that "Despair God - Anti-Hope" was the Ace Card of "Ai Ra," the character corresponding to "The Supreme King" in the manga world. Yet, the Summoning chant he recited was adapted from "The Supreme King"'s ultimate Ace Card, the ridiculously long-named "CiNo.1000: Fantasmic Illusion Light God - Primordial Celestial Spirit Primordial Heaven and Earth."
How is this not NTR? NTRing right in front of someone is just too exciting.
A mysterious smile played on his lips as a soaring Black Dragon appeared on Hayato's Field. Though it was (Ojama Green) and (Ojama Black), two Fodder Monsters, that were used, what he had Summoned was the rather imposing (First of the Dragons - Ancient Dragon).

"I just thought it would be interesting to banish (Ojama Black) and (Ojama Green), that's why I Summoned it. If I had to say, this Monster is merely a springboard for your Finishing Blow."
"Although a Monster Summoned by (Necro Fusion) cannot attack this Turn, I simply needed a DARK Attribute Monster as Fusion Material, and now the Fusion Materials are gathered on the Field."
Hearing this, Syrus looked at Hayato's Field, but apart from the Field Spell Card (Fusion Gate) and the newly Summoned (First of the Dragons - Ancient Dragon), there were clearly no other Cards on Hayato's Field.

"'Despair God - Anti-Hope'?!" Seeing the anomaly affecting his Monster, Syrus, who had been brimming with confidence just moments ago, instantly panicked. Everything he had done so far, the source of his confidence, was this "Despair God - Anti-Hope." Any other Monster could be discarded or destroyed, but this one absolutely could not be harmed! "Move, 'Despair God - Anti-Hope', why aren't you moving!"
"The Materials I designated are 'Despair God - Anti-Hope' on your Field, and (First of the Dragons - Ancient Dragon) on my Field. There are two DARK Attribute Monsters on the Field, I will Overlay them, and soar to the sky!"
The update being broken is really annoying; this chapter and the previous one are out of order.
