Chapter 296: Climax from the Start
"While Ojama King exists on the Field in Face-up Position, its effect continuously activates," Hayato announced. "Designate up to three of your opponent's Monster Zones on the Field as unusable. Ojama Ojama Seal!"
As Hayato designated the three zones, Ojama King's hand, which had been empty just a moment before, swept behind its backside, suddenly holding three seals of various shapes. It tossed them onto Ishizu's Field, which was empty of monsters and Set Cards.
"Buddy up!"
After the seals landed, three pieces of paper appeared on Ishizu's Field. The paper quickly folded, transforming into three origami figures almost identical in shape to Ojama Yellow, Ojama Green, and Ojama Black, firmly occupying the three Monster Zones.
"So you're sealing my Monster Zones?" Ishizu observed her three Monster Zones being occupied, unperturbed, and said with a smile, "Hayato, you must know that I'm more adept at using the power of monsters in the Graveyard than at commanding monsters on the Field for attack and defense, right?"
"Just sealing the positions where I can Summon monsters, even if all of them are sealed, it won't have a significant impact on me."
Hayato replied with a smile, "Of course, I'm well aware of that. But Ishizu, you're not the only one skilled at using the power of monsters in the Graveyard, you know?"
With that, Hayato played a card from his Hand: "Spell Card Ojama Magic Remodeling Activate! I reveal one Machine-Type, LIGHT Attribute Fusion Monster to you, then Banish any number of Ojama Monsters from my Hand, Field, or Graveyard, and then Special Summon the same number of Fusion Materials listed on that Fusion Monster from my Deck, Hand, or Graveyard!"
In the Graveyard, the three Ojama brothers had barely gotten comfortable when they found themselves rising again.
"Huh? Why are we flying up again?" "Where are we going?"
Hearing their brothers' words, Ojama Yellow wore a confident expression: "Hehehe, the answer to that question is too simple. Big Bro must have seen that we'd be lonely in the Graveyard, so he specifically Special Summoned us from the Graveyard to the Field."

"Hmph, idiot," Kaiba sneered from the side. "A mediocre duelist like you can only see the surface. I'm starting to regret making the participant count as generous as eight people."
"What did you say?! You make it sound like you've seen something else entirely."
Joey asked back, annoyed, but to his surprise, Kaiba actually revealed what else he had noticed: "Look at Hayato's Hand, you amateur."
"Summoning four monsters is nothing to be surprised about. However, the fact that he hasn't used his Normal Summon yet, and still has four cards remaining in his Hand—that's what makes Hayato truly dangerous."
Yugi, standing nearby, also recalled the "Card advantage" concept Hayato had once mentioned to him. He could also Summon multiple monsters in one turn if needed, but the cost would be a significant depletion of his Hand resources. For someone like Hayato to have four cards still in his Hand after a round of plays was quite difficult.
"So, X-Head Cannon, Y-Dragon Head, and Z-Metal Tank, are you going to Summon XYZ-Dragon Cannon next?" Ishizu inquired.

Flipping a card from his Hand to show, Hayato unhesitatingly sent the three monsters he had just Summoned to the Field into the Graveyard: "I tribute these three monsters on the Field to perform a Tribute Summon!"
"Descend, my glory, my Soul! Blue-Eyes—oops, no, The Winged Dragon of Ra!"
"That's my line!"
Amidst Kaiba's dissatisfied roar, a monster card with a sacred golden border in Hayato's hand landed on the Duel Disk. Flames erupted from behind Hayato, transforming into a gigantic golden immortal phoenix that soared into the sky. The flames extinguished, but the true form of the immortal phoenix was revealed—it was none other than The Winged Dragon of Ra, the Egyptian God Card with the highest standing!
