Xavier remained seated on the leather sofa. He closed his system interface with a flick of his wrist and stood up. The genetic transfer with Xalvoria surged through his veins. His physical durability had multiplied alongside his telekinetic capacity.
The Warden lunged forward and brought the glowing axe down toward Xavier's skull. Xavier simply raised his bare hand to intercept the strike. A localized spatial distortion sparked over his palm.
