A moment after looking outside the window, Kayden's body shivered and his eyes widened. A loud scared scream came out of his mouth. His father immediately ran towards him only to see the number 1 thing he wished that wouldn't happen.
All of them finally moved. They flew and scattered away with one who stayed behind.
The hundreds of flying creatures scattered almost making a shape resembling of a circle.
With the sudden move of the flying creatures, the scream of people stopped and everyone who were running for their lives took a pause. They all turned pale, blood runs cold and staring with shaking eyes on the circle form of flying creatures.
Then without notice, small bright blue dots appeared in all of the flying creatures. To the people below, it looked like blue stars from the night sky, but up close were much more terrifying.
The demons held their arm slightly and raise a finger pointing at the people below. In an instant, a small bright blue ball of flames suddenly manifested at their fingertips. This ball of fire slowly grew bigger and bigger from the size of a golf ball to the size of a wrecking ball. It grew so large and so bright that people below we're blinded from their light.
And soon, balls of fire in the shape of a wrecking ball started falling from the sky. Kayden's family was quick to run and hide under the large long table in their kitchen enough to fit six people. They ducked and covered their heads praying in whispers to not be in danger, but unfortunately praying did not work.
The ground shook intensely, the people outside were screaming and running for their lives. Houses were obliterated in one go leaving only the firey explosion behind.
Kayden kept his head low and covered. His family was shouting prayers, screaming and crying. He kept listen to the explosion got closer and closer to them.
'Damn it! Damn it all! Why the fuck is this happening!? Why are demons coming from the skies!? Just why?!'
Kayden gritted his teeth and screamed, cursing everything and cursing the demons. The explosions got closer and louder and eventually... got to them.
Kayden cried as the explosion got closer and closer. He screamed and cursed. The last thing he had heard was a loud explosion and felt like his body was thrown off gravity, he caught a glimpse when he accidentally opened his eyes before hitting the ground and passing out.
Moments before passing out, Kayden caught a glimpse of the situation. He saw his father tightly holding his mother and their 2 little brothers, he saw his brother brother who was looking at him crying as well but smiled as if accepting their fates. This was all he saw moments before their bodies shattered from the explosion.
His family, his mother, father, older brother and two little brothers were dead. But they died happy and smiling. But the same couldn't be said to the other families around the world. Cities, nations and even villages, not a single of them were spared. Billions of lives were taken and the entire world was shaken by an unexpected attack from unknown entities who came from the clouds above.
