Chapter 101: The Uchiha Wander Plan 5
The Baku opened its great maw, and a powerful suction pulled everything in the vicinity towards it. If Kakashi were to name this technique, he would probably choose a very sarcastic name.
"I think you should just call it the Wind Release: Vacuum Cleaner."
The distance between the battlefronts widened. Danzo intentionally moved away from the Third and Fourth Hokage. At the same time, he drew closer to the battlefield of Shisui Uchiha and Fugaku Uchiha. Viewed from above, the three conflicts formed a right-angled triangle. The Hokage's battlefield was at the furthest acute angle, Kakashi and Danzo were at the right angle, and the Uchiha clan head was at the closer acute angle.
"Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!"
Mimicking the style of the Triple Rashomon, Kakashi summoned three earth walls at once to block the Baku. The summoning beast's claws dug firmly into the high precipice, giving it a geographical advantage from above. The time was approaching noon, but the sky showed no signs of clearing. The slightly humid, low air pressure and thick, dark clouds heralded the coming of rain. The rumbling thunder announced that the environment was about to shift into Kakashi's favorite.
The reason he chose to fight today was that the silver-haired boy had made a deliberate choice. Fighting on his home turf of thunder gave him the ability to challenge stronger opponents.
One earth wall crumbled, instantly turning into rubble and being sucked into the Baku's body. The leader of Root unleashed a Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere in the complete opposite direction of the Baku's suction, yet there was no conflict; it directly shattered the second earth wall.
Fine rubble fell from the three dog-head sculptures on the third earth wall. A suction force came from the side. The silver-haired boy, having calculated the timing, unleashed another Lightning Cutter blade—the same one that had just severed the Baku's tusk. It pierced through the center of the earth wall like a bullet through a balloon, running through the massive Baku from its mouth to its tail. Its belly, filled with various debris, rapidly expanded and then burst, disappearing on the spot with a poof of white smoke.
With his sensory abilities, Kakashi was like a player with a wallhack; every one of his opponent's movements was crystal clear, and their location was completely exposed. This kind of operation—hitting and killing a summoning beast through a wall without needing to predict its movement—was merely a basic application for him.
His left eye opened, a mechanical white pistil intertwined with purple lightning. The boy's eyes met Danzo's right three-tomoe Sharingan. The latter's pupils couldn't help but dilate, and for a moment, he lost track of the former's movements.
What am I doing?
Just as this question appeared in his mind, Danzo's body had already reacted subconsciously.
"Wood Release: Violent Tree Spear!"
The lightning dragon that rent the sky asunder coiled around the great tree. In the twisting struggle, the wood jutsu emitted bursts of a charred smell. The lightning dragon, possessing both high temperature and paralyzing abilities, spiraled around the tree trunk and found the tiny jutsu caster. It opened its mouth, which flashed with a thick purple plasma, and bit down on him.
"Wind Release: Cast Net!"
An offensive and defensive wind ninjutsu. Before the lightning dragon could bite Danzo, a net-like, invisible wind blade blocked its assault. The leader of Root pulled back, but it was too late. A Lightning Cutter precisely struck his heart.
Danzo's form immediately became illusory and intangible. The next moment, he reappeared ten meters away, completely unharmed.
"Second life."
Kakashi mercilessly counted the number of times he had to kill Danzo. It was true that Wind Release countered Lightning Release, but his lightning, enhanced by the Ryumyaku chakra, could no longer be measured by the standards of ordinary ninjutsu.
Breaking free from the wind net, the lightning dragon recovered to its peak state in a single breath, roaring as it flew into the sky, awaiting the next opportunity to strike.
Minato Namikaze, while fighting, was still keeping an eye on his student's movements. Seeing him kill the leader of Root for the second time, he was already quite surprised. The wind jutsu from before had been so powerful even from such a distance. As a fellow wind-style user, the Fourth Hokage knew that Danzo, capable of using wind jutsu of this level, was definitely not weak. And then there was his never-before-seen Wood Release, plus the ability to resurrect. Even for him, killing Danzo would be extremely difficult. "Ninja Art: Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
One shuriken divided into several hundred, and each one had the same killing power as a real shuriken.
Unfortunately, the Uchiha clan had never feared anyone when it came to playing with shuriken. A victory by numbers was meaningless before the Sharingan.
Using only a tenth of the number to block the Third Hokage's hundred shuriken, a total of twelve Uchiha elites formed an encirclement and stood around Hiruzen.
"Lord Third, we can't hold back anymore."
"All of you from the Uchiha clan, do you really want to betray Konoha?!"
"Wasn't it Konoha that betrayed us first?"
"In that case," Hiruzen Sarutobi created four shadow clones. Having made his decision, he seemed to have aged ten years.
"Sealing Jutsu: Three-Directional Sealing!"
"Combination jutsu!"
Three shadow clones summoned a green chakra cage to seal the movements of five Uchiha clansmen.
The main body and another shadow clone, one using Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet, the other using Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet.
The burning earth dragon swept towards the remaining few.
"Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique!"
Six fire dragons and a wall of fire rose up from a simultaneous casting of hand seals. The spectacular sight and high temperature distorted the air, making it difficult to breathe.
Outside the wall of fire, several three-pronged kunai flew in. An Uchiha elite reacted quickly and blocked one. The Fourth Hokage instantly appeared, and a pale blue chakra Rasengan was sent into the enemy's chest.
"Get away from those kunai!"
