Although the system warned him that his World Power was currently too weak to be of any use—and that using it recklessly might attract disaster—Uchiha Kirin was still ecstatic.
After fully digesting two new Divine Techniques and adjusting to the changes in the embryonic form of his Divine Domain, he decided it was time to leave.
It had been over ten days since he left Konoha. Letting a clone watch over things for that long wasn't ideal—it was time to check back in.
But before that, there were a few matters to handle:
A Wood Release clone walked out of Uchiha Kirin's body. With a twist of chakra, it transformed into the likeness of the White Ape Sage.
After instructing Enra and the rest of the monkey troupe not to disturb him while he went into seclusion for focused training, the clone sealed the entrance to the Water Curtain Cave.
Though surprised—just days earlier their sage had been ranting about hunting and eating dragon meat—Enra and the others dared not question it and returned to their usual routines.
All of this was to uphold his agreement with the Sage of Six Paths and the others.
It wasn't just about leaving behind the monkeys. Uchiha Kirin also planned to release Obito and Black Zetsu, restoring the original course of the world's timeline.
When the Uchiha Massacre came a year later… he'd leave it to fate.
But was that really possible?
It didn't matter.
For someone with a simulator, this was just another test—an experiment to see what kind of benefits such a path might bring in the future.
And once the next simulation was complete, if his power surged again… it would be those so-called sages, the ones treating the world as their garden, who would have to compromise!
"You agree too, right, Obito? What's more hopeless than falling into the abyss… is having your hopes shattered just as you're about to succeed!"
...
When he arrived at the cavern once occupied by Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Kirin smelled a stench from afar that made him almost gag. He couldn't imagine what kind of torment Obito must've endured in here.
After using Dust Style to thoroughly cleanse everything unnatural in the area, Kirin finally laid eyes on Obito—his eyes dull and lifeless.
Pathetic.
But after such suffering, surely Obito's resolve would become even more unshakable once he recovered.
A beam of 〖Wither and Bloom〗 fell on Obito's withered form, and his body, once reduced to nothing, began to regenerate.
He sliced off half of the reconstructed body, replacing it with White Zetsu flesh. Then, using Kotoamatsukami, he engraved a mental imprint that made Obito believe everything that had happened was just a dream.
Once Obito was hypnotized, Kirin used his overwhelming Ocular Power to randomly pick a White Zetsu, and manually inserted memories into it.
With Obito's body fully restored, all that remained was for him to wake up from unconsciousness.
Uchiha Kirin also returned Madara's inheritance—fan, scythe, and all—placing them exactly where they'd originally been.
He'd already absorbed all their value; they were just props now, perfect for Obito's roleplay.
The hardest part was dealing with Black Zetsu.
Luckily, when he first captured Black Zetsu, he hadn't spoken much before sealing him. Unable to sense the outside world, Black Zetsu—though thrown into the embryonic Divine Domain—only felt the scorching, fluctuating heat and nothing else.
He had no idea who attacked him, or why.
After releasing both Obito and Black Zetsu, as long as Kirin erased all traces of his own presence, the Moon's Eye Plan could mostly proceed as originally intended.
He carefully wiped every sign of himself from the cave.
Half an hour later, Obito and Black Zetsu awoke one after the other.
Obito looked down at his intact body and the familiar surroundings. He felt like he'd just emerged from a long, agonizing dream.
The dream had felt so real it defied explanation. For a brief moment, he even suspected it had really happened.
But after thoroughly searching the cave and finding no evidence, he could only conclude it had been a dream.
Black Zetsu, having personally experienced the attack, couldn't erase the memory. But since he'd been sealed most of the time and didn't know Uchiha Kirin's identity or intentions, he chose to keep quiet.
Instead, he resumed discussions with Obito on how to execute the Moon's Eye Plan.
To him, the enemies of this world were all laughable weaklings. As long as Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was revived, all conspiracies would crumble before her.
...
With everything back on track, Uchiha Kirin returned to the Hidden Leaf Village.
He settled once again in his small wooden house in the Uchiha district.
According to his Shadow Clone, the village had been calm over the past half-month—aside from a ridiculous rumor about Danzo being secretly in love with Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Kirin was relieved to hear it.
He summoned Boss Black Cat, gently stroking it on his lap while his consciousness connected with the ant clones hidden beneath Konoha.
Under his control, the ant clones rapidly changed form, restructuring into White Zetsu replicas.
Apart from being his clones—and far more powerful—they were otherwise indistinguishable from the real thing.
He reconnected them with the White Zetsu network outside the village and forged another two weeks' worth of fake intel.
Just like that, the massive surveillance net Black Zetsu had once spread across the world was seamlessly restored—only now, part of it was infused with Uchiha Kirin's power.
...
"Kirin, did you hear? Something weird happened at the fish pond behind Fugaku's house. All the fish vanished overnight. And a few reckless youths were messing around over there… sigh."
"And then there are those so-called 'geniuses' who keep sneaking off to Root or the Anbu HQ. Their loyalties are all backwards! Honestly!"
"The Uchiha Clan's going downhill! You'd better not follow in their footsteps!"
One sunny morning, Granny Yukina sat in the middle of the courtyard, basking in the sun, while Uchiha Kirin massaged her shoulders from behind.
He used a massage technique derived from Gentle Fist, combined with a touch of Natural Energy and the Rule of Life to help restore her health.
Sure enough, Granny Yukina had grown noticeably better over the past few days. She could now move about energetically—like she was young again.
To Kirin, there weren't many people in the Uchiha Clan he truly cared about.
After all, he'd only been in this world for three years.
Still, he didn't want Granny Yukina or Setsuna to keep risking their lives for power. Whether in simulations or real life, they'd grown old—they deserved peace and happiness in their remaining years.
"Why don't we move somewhere else? Konoha's too small. I'm sick of it!"
"Silly child… once you become a shinobi, you can go wherever you want outside the village."
"Alright then—I'll become a shinobi! I'll go to school!"
Granny Yukina looked surprised as Uchiha Kirin pulled out an enrollment application he'd written long ago.
After breezing through a series of child-level assessment tests, and ignoring the protests of the Grand Elder, he slipped past two Uchiha Jonin who were chasing him and slapped the application down right on Hiruzen Sarutobi's desk.
