Aiden's Point of View:
As I realized the shady movement in Monte's family firm from my security men, I couldn't take one more second at home. I needed to head there as soon as possible because, for some unknown reason, I couldn't accept that I could be a little bit scared about her safety.
To my surprise, I cared very deeply for her like she was my only family even though I knew she was not my family for real. When we are merely bonded by some stupid contract, which I use most times as an excuse to demise the intense love and affection I have grown for her, why does it feel like I wanted more and something real with her?
Was it because of the betrayal from my supposed family I trusted with my life? Why this sudden pull even when I know that she might not totally feel the same way that I do for her? Gosh, I was crazy about her.
