"Huh? He… isn't here?" the crying monk was completely baffled and confused.
He contacted his staff again right away, which was still present in this realm but Vritra was nowhere around it.
He double checked, then triple checked, and after over fifty times in a row, the crying monk still couldn't locate Vritra.
Finally, his scalp tingled uncomfortably and cold sweat trickled down his bald head, and a line he had said not long ago echoed in his mind.
'If anything, I am at least 100% sure that Vritra can escape that place alive, he won't die there.'
He had believed that with his whole heart.
Those weren't the exact words he had used, but the feeling behind them was the same.
But now, Vritra was gone completely. What happened?
He kept asking himself the same question, unable to find an answer.
Was any of the Titan still alive somewhere? Or did it revive from some fragment? That was the only possible reason he could think of.
