Inside the Training Ground
Everyone gathered on one side to watch Noel's test.
Guard 2: "I think she's a Beta." 🤔
Guard 5: "Yeah, I think so too." 🤔
Guard 3: "Then let's make a bet!"
"Beta or not?" 😏
Everyone: "Deal!" 😎
The assistant stepped forward.
Assistant: "Alright. We'll do only three tests."
"Based on your results, we'll decide your training." 😊
Noel: "Okay." 🙂
Assistant (thinking): Why does she only say 'Okay'...? Stay calm... don't get angry...
Assistant: "The first test is weight lifting."
"The second is rope climbing."
"And the third is a puzzle test."
"These will help us understand your abilities." 😊
Noel: "Okay." 🙂
Assistant (thinking): I can't take this anymore... 😤
Assistant: "If you keep answering with only 'Okay,' then—"
Noel looked up.
Noel: "Sorry, sir." 🥺
The assistant instantly felt guilty.
Assistant: "I-It's okay."
"Let's begin."
"Bring the stones." 😅
Six guards walked in.
Three Alpha guards carried one huge boulder together.
The other three brought smaller stones of different sizes.
Assistant: "Look, you can try lifting any of these."
"It's fine if you can't lift the big—"
He suddenly noticed everyone's shocked faces.
Assistant: "Huh?"
He turned around.
Assistant: "😱"
Everyone else:
Everyone: "😱"
Noel was casually holding the biggest boulder...
...as if it weighed nothing. 🙂
The assistant's eye twitched.
(Stay calm... Don't panic... 😱)
Assistant: "O-Okay..."
"You can put it down now."
"Next is rope climbing." 😊
They moved to the climbing area.
The assistant pointed at the rope.
Assistant: "You only need to climb until the—"
He looked up.
"...What the?!"
Noel was already hanging from the very top of the rope. 🙂
The rope reached the second floor.
Even experienced soldiers rarely climbed that high.
Everyone: "😱"
The assistant stood there speechless.
(Why am I starting to feel scared of her...? 😱)
Assistant: "COME DOWN!!" 😤
He shouted from the ground.
Noel: "Okay." 🙂
She climbed down without any effort.
The assistant took a deep breath.
Assistant: "So far... everything is good."
"Now for the last test." 😊
(I'm absolutely sure she can't do this one.) 😏
He pointed to a strange machine.
Assistant: "This is a riddle test."
"There are three buttons."
- Easy
- Medium
- Hard
"Press one, and you'll get a question."
"If you answer correctly, you'll move to the next question."
"There are three questions in total."
"Understood?" 😊
Noel: "Okay." 🙂
Assistant: "Go ahead. Press a button." 😎
A nearby guard reached out to help.
Guard: Press.
"...Shit." 😥
Assistant: "What happened?" 😑
Guard: "S-Sir... I accidentally pressed the Hard button."
"I'm sorry!" 😥
Assistant: "HOW COULD YOU?!" 😡
A mechanical voice echoed through the training ground.
Voice: "Question Number One." 😑
