Lucian's curiosity about Pearl only grew stronger overnight. He decided to try and find her before her delivery to his office building. Perhaps he could understand her better, or maybe he just wanted to see her again.
With Pearl's delivery schedule in hand, Lucian planned to intercept her en route. He hoped to catch her off guard, away from the pressures of her job.
As Pearl began her delivery route, Lucian waited in his car, parked discreetly near her next stop. His eyes scanned the street, anticipation building.
