"You bastard!"
Sadi's face darkened as she suddenly yanked backward with even greater force. The blade Bullet had been gripping immediately came alive, twisting violently before breaking free from his grasp and retracting to its original form. Even so, Sadi did not activate her Noble Phantasm again. Instead, she stared coldly at Bullet.
Domino, who knew her well, immediately realized that Sadi wanted to teach Bullet a lesson. She quickly stepped forward and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
"Sadi, calm down. That man isn't like the others."
As she spoke, Domino glanced at Bullet with obvious caution. After all, this was Douglas Bullet—the man who had once fought through a Buster Call alone and required both Garp and Sengoku to bring him down. A monster many had once believed could surpass Roger himself. Even imprisoned, he wasn't someone Domino dared to underestimate.
"I know what I'm doing, Domino."
Sadi gave her a reassuring look before turning her attention back to Bullet. Just as she was about to ask what he wanted, Jinbe finally spoke up from a nearby cell.
"Hey, woman! You just came from outside, right? Where is Ikki now? Did the Marines recruit him to participate in the war against the Whitebeard Pirates?"
The moment those words left Jinbe's mouth, the noisy sixth level suddenly fell silent. Countless eyes turned toward him. Even Bullet stopped moving.
"Whitebeard?" He frowned. "A war?"
A moment later, the entire prison exploded into discussion.
"Wait, what did he just say?!"
"The Marines are going to war with Whitebeard?"
"Of course! Portgas D. Ace was imprisoned here!"
"He's Whitebeard's Second Division Commander!"
"That old man would never abandon one of his sons."
"I get it now."
"So that's why things have been so tense lately."
"Hahaha! A war between Whitebeard and Marine Headquarters!"
"What a spectacle."
"Damn it. I wish I could join."
Listening to the commotion, Sadi frowned.
"Quiet."
Her voice cut through the chaos.
"You scum of the sea. If you don't want another lesson, keep your mouths shut."
She casually twirled Vulcano Caligorante. The sight of the Noble Phantasm immediately silenced a large portion of the prisoners. Not everyone obeyed, but enough did to restore some order.
Then Sadi looked toward Jinbe.
"And as for your question, Jinbe, I have no reason to answer—"
Creak.
The sound of metal tearing echoed through the prison.
Sadi's expression changed instantly.
She turned toward the source.
"Bullet!"
Her eyes widened.
The chains attached to the walls of Bullet's cell had been ripped free. Although the Sea Prism Stone restraints around his wrists and ankles remained intact, the chains anchoring them to the walls had been torn away by brute force.
The surrounding prisoners immediately noticed as well.
Shock spread throughout Level 6.
"He broke the chains?!"
"Is he trying to escape?!"
The prisoners stared in disbelief.
Bullet rolled his shoulders and grinned.
"Interesting. I never expected something so entertaining to be happening outside. I should thank you, Knight of the Sea. How could I possibly miss a war between the Marines and Whitebeard?"
He wrapped the detached Sea Prism Stone chains around his waist and fists before walking toward the bars of his cell. Then he grabbed them.
The muscles throughout his body swelled.
Crunch.
The bars slowly bent outward.
Moments later, an opening large enough for him to walk through appeared.
Bullet stepped out.
Domino's eyes widened.
"T-That's impossible! Those are Sea Prism Stone restraints!"
Meanwhile, the surrounding prisoners erupted.
"Hahaha! He actually got out!"
"Bullet, release us too!"
"That's right! You can't leave Impel Down alone."
"Let us out and we'll help you defeat Magellan!"
"I'll even become your subordinate!"
The pirates shouted excitedly. Many of them had mocked Bullet's relentless training over the years. Now those same people were desperately trying to curry favor with him.
Bullet merely glanced at them before laughing.
"My subordinates? You people aren't worthy. And who said I need help? I'm enough to defeat Magellan myself."
Then his gaze shifted toward Sadi and Domino.
"You two. You have the keys, don't you? Give them to me. I want these Sea Prism Stone restraints removed. It's been a long time since I've used my Devil Fruit properly."
His eyes settled on Vulcano Caligorante.
"And while I'm at it..."
A grin spread across his face.
"I'd like to see what happens if I fuse that sword into my power."
"Hehehe."
He began walking forward. Every step radiated confidence. The message was obvious—if they didn't hand over the keys, he would simply take them.
Sadi snorted.
"You want the keys? Who do you think you are?"
She planted her sword before her and glanced at Domino.
"Step back. This is a good opportunity to show you the power Lord Ikki taught me."
The markings on her body immediately spread.
Her Innate Demon Slayer Mark activated.
Heat surged through her veins as her life force was rapidly converted into immense power. At the same time, the magical energy flowing into Vulcano Caligorante increased dramatically.
Creak. Creak.
The Noble Phantasm began emitting a harsh grinding sound.
Bullet's grin widened.
"You're resisting? Interesting."
He stomped forward.
The prison floor cracked beneath his feet as he charged.
Sadi narrowed her eyes.
Observation Haki.
Transparent World.
Both activated simultaneously.
The blur-like figure rushing toward her instantly became clear. Every movement, every muscle, every shift in momentum—nothing escaped her perception.
Instead of retreating, she lunged forward.
Her body shot toward Bullet like an arrow.
Armament Haki coated her high heel as the kick drove straight toward his chest.
Bullet raised an eyebrow. He clearly hadn't expected her to attack first. Immediately, he crossed both arms in front of him.
Boom!
The impact echoed throughout Level 6.
Even Bullet was forced back two steps.
Sadi landed gracefully, a sneer appearing on her face.
"Hah. So the Demon Heir isn't all that impressive."
Then she raised Vulcano Caligorante.
"Now the real fight begins, Bullet."
Brilliant light erupted from the sword.
"Noble Phantasm Release—Vulcano Caligorante!"
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
The blade instantly transformed into its whip-sword form. Countless lengths of razor-sharp steel unfolded into a massive net. The vibrating edges shrieked through the air like countless spinning saws as the enormous mesh descended toward Bullet, threatening to envelop him completely.
