There wasn't any special training today, so Rowan took Sienna outside the training field.
"Wife, sit here and wait for me. I'm almost off work, then we'll go eat in the cafeteria together."
"Okay."
Rowan went off to train the soldiers. Since he didn't have time in the morning, he wanted to see if the men had been slacking off in their recent self-training.
In a corner of the cafeteria, people watched the two of them come in and were confused. Usually, married couples didn't eat at the cafeteria. Why did Captain Zhou bring his young wife here?
Soon, Felix, Steve, and Brandon also arrived. Felix spoke first.
"Rowan, is everything okay? Want me to step in?"
"No need. It's nothing. Let's just leave it. We were sparring and he lost, got upset, and tried to cause trouble."
"Nice one, Rowan. You even got that troublemaker to calm down."
Hearing Felix's words, Rowan smiled and looked gently at his wife.
"It wasn't me. It was my wife who handled it."
The three of them were surprised.
"Sienna, that's impressive."
They really admired her. With skills like hers, they didn't think they could beat her. They still didn't know what had happened on the train. Once they did, they'd be even more impressed and jealous of Rowan.
He'd been tricked by his mother into getting married and ended up with a fairy-like wife who also had top-level fighting skills.
Sienna smiled at them, then went back to eating.
In the following days, Sienna stayed at home and relaxed. Rowan took the troops out for field training.
One day, just as she was about to go out for a walk, someone knocked at the door.

Sienna quickly opened it and was surprised to see who it was. She didn't expect him to come here. It was Ouyang, someone she had met on the train, and he came with Captain Yourin.
As the door opened, Captain Yourin spoke.
"Rowan's wife, this is Comrade Ouyang. He came to talk to you about something."
"Hello. Please come in and have a seat," she said, opening the door and inviting them in.
Once they were seated in the main room, Sienna poured them some water. Then she asked, "What's the matter?"
Ouyang took out an envelope and handed it to her.
"This is the reward for you and Comrade Rowan for helping catch the criminal. It's a total of seven hundred yuan. There's also a letter of commendation, and Rowan has been credited for his contribution."
"Thank you. I appreciate you making the trip."
"Bringing the reward wasn't the main reason. I actually came here for something else."
"Go ahead. Since it's for my husband's sake, if I can help, I will."
"That day on the train, I saw your skills. I'd like to invite you to join us. We've already looked into your background. It's clean, and your father was a martyr."
"Sorry you made the trip. I won't be joining."

He handed over a note with his number and left. Yourin followed after him. He was just a helper, always sent where needed.

After the two of them went to the office, Ouyang spoke first. "Commander Yao, you really have some talented people here. Just look at Rowan—he won the title of 'King of Soldiers' in the army-wide competition and broke several records. Now even his wife is impressive. Her combat ability is probably close to Captain Rowan's."

Rowan didn't take it. "You keep it. Didn't I already say you manage our money? Besides, you're the one who caught the guy. I'm just benefitting from your work."
"Alright. Oh, by the way, he invited me to join them, but I turned him down."
"Good. They're too dangerous. I'd worry about you."
"Mm. I just want to be with you. I don't want to go anywhere else. And your job isn't very free either."
"Sorry, wife. I haven't been able to spend much time with you."
"No, I like it this way. Seeing you every day makes me happy. By the way, let's send some money to your parents and write them a letter too. They should be getting our last letter soon."

"Then, husband, can your parents come visit us? Or maybe stay for a while? I really like your mom."

Sienna kissed Rowan on the cheek and smiled. "Thank you, husband. Then let's not send the money this time. Tomorrow, we'll call them and ask them to visit."
