Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 : Miranda's Point of View

Miranda's Point of View

At first, Miranda saw only young Cassius, the son of Count Gerin von Grese, who had grown up in luxury and excess.

His silver hair was always excessively tidy, and his red eyes were often filled with indifference. He seemed to her like an ordinary boy, acting like a spoiled child whose only concern was maintaining his appearance and status.

But from the beginning of his training, from the time he began to put his heart and mind into everything, she began to notice a change.

Miranda wore the traditional light blue maid's dress, with her green hair neatly tied back, and her blue eyes watched him from afar.

At first, he felt as if she didn't care, but in recent days, she began to see him differently. Miranda's eyes began to follow his movements on the training ground, observing how his body was becoming more toned, and how every sword strike he made expressed something more than just training, but a genuine desire for change.

"He's different," she said to herself as she watched him from a small window in the palace hall.

He trained almost nonstop. Morning and night, he perfected his sword strokes and learned magic, flicking through ancient books as if they were keys to another world, his breath coming a little faster after each exercise.

One evening, when he returned to the hall to eat, Miranda was laying out the plates on the table. He had just returned from his training, his hair slightly damp, his clothes showing his fatigue, but his eyes shone with something new—something she had never seen in him before.

"Young master..." she said in a low voice, not even realizing she was saying the words.

"You look stronger... more stable."

Cassius lifted his head and looked at her, but this time it wasn't through the expressionless eyes of the past.

His eyes were sharper, more intense.

"I feel stronger already, Miranda. I won't stop until I achieve what I want."

These were the words that inspired Miranda. She realized that nothing could stop him now. Cassius had changed, not just in his appearance or his strength, but in his heart and soul. He was no longer the weak boy who sought pampering or tried to please others.

"You... are not the same, sir."

Miranda said finally, a small smile on her lips, a smile that was laced with pride.

"You have changed."
