Chapter 98 - The Origin (BONUS)

Galactus's gaze fell upon the kindly old man, and he instantly recognized him.

Though this supreme being's manifested form varied each time, the aura emanating from him was unmistakable. It was indeed the master of their world, the supreme sovereign above all things.

"Most Exalted Sovereign, it is a relief to see you safe." Galactus approached OAA and greeted him respectfully.

OAA casually waved a hand, carrying no airs of superiority. His aged face bore a serene smile.

"Galan, there's no need for such formality. I am, of course, unharmed. After all, what Thanos absorbed was merely my avatar."

Here, OAA sighed softly, a hint of regret in his expression.

"If I hadn't departed, perhaps none of this would have happened. However... your daughter, Galacta, is quite remarkable to have befriended this young man. You are fortunate, Galan."

OAA's gaze shifted between Galacta and Yuki, a knowing, almost maternal smile gracing his features.

Noticing OAA's teasing look, Galacta's face flushed bright red, and she quickly lowered her head, unable to meet his eyes.

As the master of the Marvel universe, OAA's most powerful weapon was love. And now, right before him, Galacta had clearly developed what mortals called romantic feelings. As for whom those feelings were directed at, it went without saying.

Hearing OAA's words, Galactus initially scratched his head in confusion. But soon, observing his daughter's demeanor and drawing upon his vast experience observing human emotions, he quickly grasped the situation.

This realization sent a jolt through him. His first instinct was to intervene. However, upon remembering that the object of his daughter's affection was none other than Yuki standing before him, Galactus ultimately dismissed the thought.

'Ah well, she's grown up. Let her be,' he silently mused.

Of course, it absolutely wasn't because he was no match for Yuki. It was simply that, in all the worlds, only Yuki was truly worthy of his daughter.

A faint smile played on Yuki's lips as he glanced at the shy Galacta. Then, he turned his attention back to Alovenus.

At that moment, Alovenus's eyes shimmered, roving over Yuki's form. Noticing his gaze, she playfully winked at him, sending a flirtatious spark his way.

Yuki couldn't suppress a slight shiver.

'Good grief! You're supposed to be a goddess! Have a little more restraint, will you?!'

He retorted internally while maintaining a composed exterior, offering Alovenus a polite smile.

Galactus also noticed Alovenus and sensed an aura from her not one bit weaker than OAA's, filling him with awe.

"And you are...?" Galactus inquired of Alovenus.

Only when addressed did Alovenus seem to recall her purpose. She introduced herself casually.

"I am Alovenus, from... well, this world."

She held a mirror-like fragment in her hand—clearly, the world from which she hailed, the world of A Wild Last Boss Appeared!

"Uh... May I ask, Miss Alovenus, what brings you here?" Galactus asked, slightly taken aback by the world fragment she held.

"Nothing major. The commotion from this handsome gentleman's battle was simply too great, drawing the attention of powerful beings across the multiverse, myself included. Now that the fight is over, I came over hoping to get to know him."

Alovenus offered a light smile, her focus returning to Yuki. Her eyes were bright; as a goddess, her aura held a fascinating contrast of purity and allure.

She slowly walked over to Yuki, her gaze as deep as autumn waters, and spoke playfully.

"Handsome, let's get acquainted."

"I'm Alovenus, a goddess!"

"Your battle was spectacular. Your strength is immense, surpassing even all of us here."

Yuki curled the corner of his mouth into a smile, nodding simply in acknowledgment.

"My name is Yuki."

"Thank you. You are also very powerful."

Alovenus's strength was, of course, beyond doubt.

Although in the original work, she was ultimately defeated by the protagonist, Ruphas, her loss was due to several factors. Over an immense span of time, she had gradually strayed from her original path and lost sight of her initial purpose. Additionally, being somewhat of a "foolish goddess," her spirit was fragile—easily flustered by criticism and prone to despondency. That's why, in her battle with Ruphas, she lacked a strong will to win, leading to her defeat.

"Ah!"

"You're praising me! That makes me so happy~~~"

With just a simple compliment, a rosy blush spread across Alovenus's cheeks, and she shyly lowered her gaze.

Watching this, Galacta couldn't help but feel a surge of displeasure. She inwardly cursed Alovenus for being shameless.

'Who do you think you are?! Why are you suddenly here saying such things?!'

Of course, Galacta could only curse in her heart. She didn't dare show it outwardly, especially since the other's power was clearly above her own.

After a brief exchange with Alovenus, the conversation turned to serious matters.

Following OAA's explanation, Galactus and the others understood why OAA had left the Marvel universe.

It turned out that one day, across the entire infinite multiverse, this silvery-white force had appeared, spreading everywhere. This power transcended all laws, reality, and rules. It surpassed all mathematics, physics, chemistry, theology, philosophy, programming, settings... everything. It was an utterly unknown force.

Because of this power's existence, many beings who had reached the omniversal level found themselves unable to leave their own worlds.

This had piqued OAA's curiosity about what was happening.

"So, did you discover the cause?" Galactus asked curiously, looking at the mysterious, terrifying silvery-white energy that filled the entire chaotic expanse.

OAA nodded slowly. "Yes. It all traces back to a problem originating from a certain place."

"That place could be said to be the origin of the entire infinite multiverse, as well as the fulcrum supporting it all."

"The origin... and the fulcrum?!" Galactus's expression was one of astonishment. "That must be a place of immense importance."

OAA nodded again. "Because that place exists independently of the multiverse, yet maintains a reciprocal relationship with it. I often travel back and forth between there and here."

Hearing this, Yuki quickly realized what place OAA was referring to.

OAA continued.

"But on this occasion, I discovered, to my surprise, that the place had vanished."

"This means the infinite multiverse has now lost its supporting fulcrum."

"And losing the fulcrum means..."

Here, OAA's expression turned grave. He did not continue.

But everyone had already grasped his implication.

If one imagined the infinite multiverse as a building, then the fulcrum would be the pillars supporting the entire structure.

Without those pillars, the entire building would collapse.

Now, the multiverse faced precisely this crisis.

The weight of this topic cast a profound and somber atmosphere over everyone present, including the members watching the live stream.
