The number of truly good people placed here wasn't large only about twenty or so in total.
Among them, Yuki spotted the kind old man from the original story. In the plot, he had taken care of many Cursed Children on the outskirts. He was one of the few genuinely good people in this world.
These good people still looked at Yuki with a degree of fear. After all, the power he had displayed was beyond their imagination. But this old man was different from the others.
He approached Yuki and gave a deep, respectful bow.
"You're not afraid of me?" Yuki asked, looking at him with interest.
"You are a good man. Because of your arrival, the fate of those children has changed."
"In the eyes of others, you might be a demon. But in this old man's eyes, there is no one more like a savior angel than you."
Hearing himself described as an angel, Yuki actually felt a little embarrassed.
"You flatter me, sir," he said with a light chuckle. "Please rest here peacefully for the day. Once we reach the new world, all of you will begin a brand new life."
He spoke calmly, then bid the old man farewell to go find the Saintess and the others.
Yuki spent the next few hours chatting with the Saintess and the little lolis, sharing a meal with them. Soon, it was noon, and the little girls dutifully returned to their assigned rooms to rest.
The great hall was now quiet, leaving only the Saintess and a few of the younger girls.
A girl with purple hair and dressed in white, Hotaru Hōro, approached Yuki. She bowed to him respectfully.
"Thank you, Lord Yuki."
Beside her, (Sui Kusano) also bowed nervously, her cat ears twitching slightly. "Th-thank you... Yuki, big brother."
"Ah... it's alright, there's no need for such formal thanks. I've heard those words more than enough today," Yuki said, waving his hand dismissively.
Only then did the two girls relax. Soon, they, along with Enju Aihara and the others, became fast friends, sitting together and chatting happily.
The Saintess sat beside Yuki, watching the smiles on the Cursed Children's faces. A soft smile touched her own lips.
"I never dared to imagine these children would have a day where they could smile like this," she mused.
The members in the live stream chat were also watching, smiling as they saw the Cursed Children's joy.
"All of this is thanks to you, Yuki-kun," the Saintess said, turning her gaze to him. Her eyes were deep and tender, filled with emotion.
Watching the stream, Mikoto Sido smiled knowingly. Meanwhile, Artemis, who was also tuned in, started chewing on virtual lemons, green with envy.
"Well, I couldn't just stand by and watch these lovely children suffer," Yuki replied, shaking his head gently.
The Saintess heard this and smiled without replying. Perhaps this was why she had fallen for him. Despite his immense power, he still had a heart. He had his own emotions; he wasn't some detached, divine entity devoid of feeling.
Just then, a Cosmic Celestial suddenly entered the hall.
"Sovereign, a matter requires your attention."
The leader of the Celestials, OAA, entered and approached Yuki with deference.
"A matter?" Yuki paused for a moment, then immediately activated his omniscience. He quickly understood the situation.
"Very well. I know. I will go to see her now," he said, dismissing the leader.
Watching OAA leave, the Saintess looked at Yuki curiously and asked what was happening.
"It's nothing. Just a girl, consumed by a desire for revenge, seeking power from me," Yuki replied, gently patting the Saintess's shoulder. "I leave this to you. I must go."
With those words, his figure vanished before her eyes in the blink of an eye.
The Saintess was taken aback for a second, but then decided not to dwell on it, immersing herself instead in chatting with the friends in the group.
Yuki teleported to a deserted room and seated himself upon a throne. With a snap of his fingers, an elegant figure materialized before him.
The girl, finding herself suddenly transported to an unfamiliar room, was stunned for a second. But when her eyes fell upon Yuki seated on the throne, she was instantly captivated by the aura he exuded. A look of infatuation gradually surfaced on her face.
"Ahem!"
Yuki's cough snapped her out of her daze. She quickly collected herself, lowering her head and dropping to one knee before him.
"Tendo Kisara, paying her respects to Mr. Yuki."
That's right. The girl seeking an audience with Yuki was none other than Tendo Kisara, one of the main heroines from the original story.
Once the daughter of the prestigious Tendo family, her parents had been killed by Gastrea—lured to their deaths by other Tendō family members resentful of her parents' attempt to expose the family's corruption. The tragedy had also cost Kisara her kidney function.
Since then, she had held a deep hatred for the Tendō clan, her sole goal to kill those responsible for her parents' murder.
"I am aware of your purpose here. I know the story of your family," Yuki stated calmly, his gaze resting on the beautiful black-haired girl before him.
Her hair was long, dark, and glossy, her skin as smooth and pale as fine snow. Dressed in a black sailor-style school uniform paired with black thigh-high socks, she had the distinct style of a gothic beauty.
"Mr. Yuki's capabilities are truly vast and profound!" A look of pleasant surprise crossed Kisara's face upon hearing his words. The fact that he knew her story without being told proved his immense power! It gave her hope for her revenge.
"Heh. So, you intend to seek power from me," Yuki said with a light laugh. "Then, what do you believe you can offer in return?"
Seeing his response, Kisara's eyes hardened with resolve.
"Anything! My life, or whatever else you desire!" she declared. "So long as I can personally exact revenge on my enemies, I am willing to offer everything I have."
Her eyes burned with the fire of vengeance, her expression one of unwavering determination, utterly consumed by her thirst for retribution.
A faint smile played on Yuki's lips. "Your life? No need for that. It would be a waste for someone as beautiful as you to die."
He crooked a finger, gesturing for her to come closer. "Come here."
"If you are willing to become my woman, then—" Before Yuki could even finish his sentence, Tendō Kisara nodded without hesitation.
"I am willing!"
Without a second thought, she closed the distance and pressed her lips to his.
Well, that was... sudden.
Yuki wasn't sure if he was the one being taken advantage of, or if he was the one profiting.
As for Kisara, inwardly, she was delighted. Not only would she gain the power she sought, but she'd also landed herself such a handsome and powerful man. From her perspective, this deal was far from a loss—it was a massive win.
Seeing her enthusiasm, Yuki simply went with it, wrapping his arms around Kisara. He decided to teach this bold woman who had thrown herself at him a proper lesson.
Meanwhile, the Saintess, on the other side of the ship, was completely unaware of what was transpiring with Yuki. She continued to wait patiently for his return.
It was a full hour before he finally reappeared.
Though the Saintess thought she detected a faint, unfamiliar scent on him, her innocence regarding such matters meant she didn't dwell on it. Instead, she asked him about the situation.
Yuki briefly explained Kisara's circumstances, focusing mainly on the girl's deep-seated hatred for the Tendō family.
Hearing about Kisara's tragic past, the Saintess's heart was filled with sympathy for the young woman.
As for Tendō Kisara herself? She had already embarked on her path of vengeance.
