Chapter 52 - Make a Baby?

Seeing Kitagawa Marin leave, Yuki didn't stop her.

'Well, we're in the same class anyway. Plenty of chances later.'

Right now, his focus was on Tobiichi Origami standing before him.

"Origami," he began with a faint smile, "last night, I traveled back."

The moment those words left his mouth, Origami's body trembled slightly. Then, she jerked her head up, her eyes glistening with a thin layer of moisture—tears threatening to spill at any second.

"Are your parents doing well now?" Yuki asked gently. "Tia and the others… they managed to save them, right?"

Even though he already knew her parents were alive and healthy, he couldn't help but ask out of concern.

"Mhm!" Origami nodded, her voice soft but filled with emotion. "Thanks to you… If you hadn't been there, I might've been left an orphan forever."

Her mind drifted back to that moment, her eyes clouded with distant memories. Then, those sky-blue eyes—clear and endless—turned to Yuki, brimming with adoration and love.

"You were the one who brought me hope and light… during the darkest time of my life."

Her hands cupped his face, her gaze hazy with emotion. "You're the most important person to me."

Yuki chuckled softly, gently patting her head. "Heh, Origami, you're my most important person too. My most precious treasure."

At those words, Origami seemed unable to hold back any longer—the feelings buried deep inside her for so long finally surged forward, unstoppable.

"Then let's hurry up and start, Yuki!" Origami clung to him tightly, her voice eager. "I want it now!"

She practically draped herself over Yuki, her determination unwavering.

"Don't worry! Even though today's a safe day, if we do it enough times, I'll definitely get pregnant!"

"And I've prepared plenty of strong medicine too! I'll make sure you stay energetic the whole time!"

Out of nowhere, Origami pulled out a bunch of suspicious-looking "accessories"—stuff so embarrassing that even Yuki felt secondhand awkwardness just looking at them.

"Ahem! Restraint, Origami! Show some restraint! Don't let your desires overwhelm your reason!!"

With more and more students filing into the classroom, Yuki quickly willed Origami's questionable stash out of existence.

As if I'd need that kind of thing!

But Origami wasn't slowing down. If anything, her excitement was growing. Her body pressed tighter against his. Her breath was hot on his neck. One of her hands had already started wandering down his side.

"Yuki~" She gazed up at him with dewy, pleading eyes. "Your mouth says no, but your body's honest."

Hiss—

Yuki sucked in a sharp breath. I can't hold back anymore.

Cutting off Origami's advances, he discreetly whisked her away from the classroom before anyone noticed.

By the time second period rolled around, the two finally returned—though Origami looked like a completely different person.

Her face was glowing, a faint, dreamy smile playing on her lips as she occasionally touched her stomach, lost in blissful thoughts.

Watching this, Kitagawa Marin and Eriri exchanged confused glances. Something was off, but they couldn't quite put their finger on it.

Their little disappearing act, however, didn't go unnoticed. Soon enough, their homeroom teacher, Mafuyu Kirisu, caught wind of their skipped class and pulled them aside for a private meeting.

"Care to explain why the two of you vanished without a trace for an entire period?" She crossed her arms, her sharp glare pinning them in place.

As a strict and responsible teacher, Mafuyu took attendance seriously. Skipping class? Unacceptable.

Just as Yuki scrambled for an excuse—

"We went to make a baby."

Origami's deadpan reply echoed in the room.

Yuki facepalmed so hard he might've given himself a concussion.

Meanwhile, Mafuyu froze.

Five full seconds passed in silence.

"M-Make a… baby?!"

Her grip faltered, the pen in her hand clattering to the floor.

As an adult, she knew exactly what that entailed.

The mental image alone made her stiffen, her professional composure cracking as a blush crept up her neck. Beneath her sleek OL attire, her body trembled slightly.

Even for someone as composed as her, this was too much.

"Ahem! Tobiichi-san!" She cleared her throat, voice strained. "This isn't a joking matter! Give me a proper explanation!"

There was no way she believed Origami.

She'd done thorough background checks on all her students—Origami included.

The girl had always been an untouchable ice queen. No way she'd throw herself at some guy she'd known for barely a month… right?

"I—"

Origami was about to answer, but Yuki swiftly cut her off.

"Actually, Origami wasn't feeling well, so I took her to see the doctor."

Good grief, if I let her speak, who knows what nonsense she'll spout next?

"Ah, I see. That makes sense."

Unsurprisingly, Mafuyu found Yuki's explanation far more believable.

"Alright, if that's the case, then take better care of yourselves."

"You may go now."

"And remember—while studies are important, so is your health. Understood?"

Yuki nodded quickly, dragging Origami out before she could cause more chaos.

Once outside, he let out a long sigh.

Meanwhile, Origami's cheeks flushed slightly as she remarked in her usual monotone:

"Yuki's reaction just now… was cute."

Yuki rolled his eyes at her comment.

Glancing around to make sure no one was watching, he gave her butt a light pinch—punishment for her earlier boldness.

"That's what you get for running your mouth," he muttered, shooting her a mock glare. "Seems like you still need proper discipline."

"Eep~!"

Origami let out a soft yelp, but her face quickly melted into a blissful smile.

"Mhm~ I'll always be ready for Yuki's visits."

Instead of learning her lesson, she seemed to revel in it.

Only a max-level pervert like Origami could turn scolding into a reward.

Truly, the Master of Paper Arts strikes again.

Back in class, Origami behaved relatively well—for once.

Yuki, meanwhile, settled into the dull rhythm of lectures.

Bored, he pulled up his system interface to check his Intimacy Points.

1,530,000 and counting.

Not bad at all.

Next, he opened the chat group to see what everyone was up to.

Coincidentally, the topic of discussion was Setenshi's World—and Seitenshi herself had just uploaded a massive pile of research data.

As the group scrolled through the findings, the truth became clear.

Raiden: "So, the Original Gastrea Virus was man-made after all… Just like in your world, Holy Maiden."

Saeko: "Just like the Deadman Virus in ours. How pathetic—humans destroying themselves."

Artemis: "Using children as test subjects to create those Gastrea monsters… The irony is sickening."

Athena: "Though I've witnessed mortal folly countless times, this… stirs even my wrath."

Marika: "No comment. But those Cursed Children… They deserve better."

Yuki: "Seems Holy Maiden's investigation bore fruit. Well done."
