Chapter 46 - The Bio-Engineered Beauties

In the endless stretch of space, a massive battleship flew faster than light.

Inside, Rin Yuki sat on the observation deck, watching a fierce battle between two figures happening below.

Nearby, three others stood beside him—one of them was Sephie.

The other two? Their story needed a little flashback.

A few days after Rin Yuki first met Sephie, the two of them had begun traveling together through space.

In just two days of journeying side by side, their connection had grown quickly. The feelings between them became warmer by the hour.

During their travels, Rin Yuki and Sephie landed on a distant planet.

It was there that Yuki met the people now onboard the ship.

One of them was Tearju Lunatique—Tia for short. A genius scientist who had mastered cosmic-level bioengineering by the time she was just ten years old.

Her talents drew the attention of a research facility focused on making humanoid weapons.

Inside that facility, Tia created an artificial life-form modeled after herself.

Her name was Eve.

Eve's creation was a huge breakthrough for the facility.

She could turn any part of her body into a weapon. Even her long, golden hair could transform into sharp blades.

That earned her the nickname: Golden Darkness.

But the researchers weren't satisfied with just one Eve.

Strange reports had started spreading—entire alien species were suddenly dropping dead for no clear reason. Even the ruling Cosmic Emperor vanished without explanation.

Scared by the idea of some unknown force hiding in space, the institute rushed to create more bio-weapons.

From that came the second generation: Kuroshio Mea.

Mea wasn't the only one. Another weapon, Nemesis, was made at the same time.

So how did Rin Yuki meet them?

The answer was simple.

Tia, the scientist who made them, had always hated how the facility wanted to use her creations for war.

But she was outnumbered and couldn't resist them on her own.

That changed when Mea and Nemesis were born.

She saw a chance—and convinced all three girls to escape with her.

Their escape didn't go smoothly.

Fighting broke out.

And right in the middle of it—Rin Yuki and Sephie arrived on the battlefield.

With Yuki's help, the research facility was completely destroyed. Their forces were wiped out. The data and labs were reduced to nothing.

Tia's long, desperate escape had finally ended.

Now, Tia and her three "creations" were part of Rin Yuki's crew.

After five days together, they had already gotten close. Tia especially. With Yuki's help, she had gone back to doing what she loved—working on bioengineering.

At that moment, Tia stood watching the battle from above.

Her golden hair gleamed. Her fair face, framed by glasses, was focused as her bright green eyes studied the fight.

She adjusted her glasses with a small push and let out a quiet sigh of disappointment.

"…Looks like it failed."

She dropped down into the nearest seat. Her large chest bounced as she landed—a sight hard to ignore.

But aside from Rin Yuki, no one else was around to appreciate it.

"Don't get discouraged," Yuki said with a small laugh, gently ruffling her hair.

"The genetics of the Beyonders aren't something you can figure out that easily."

"Especially not when you're applying them to Eve and Mea—they're already fully developed."

Back when Tia and Yuki first talked about science, Yuki mentioned the Beyonders—a race from the Marvel Universe, created by the servants of the Celestials, known as the Aspirants.

The Beyonders were terrifying. Even young ones could defeat top-tier Celestials, M-Bodies of the Four Abstracts, and even the Living Tribunal.

And the well-known Beyonder? Just a juvenile by their standards.

Their Cosmic Cubes could rewrite the entire omniverse instantly.

Naturally, Tia had become obsessed.

After begging over and over—and even offering her "first time" as a deal—she finally convinced Yuki to share both Beyonder research and a DNA sample.

She studied it quickly and managed to create a synthetic version of their genes.

Her next goal? Creating a real Beyonder.

Both Eve and Mea volunteered right away. They wanted the Beyonder genes to boost their powers.

But now, as they watched Eve and Mea fight—both girls morphing their bodies into deadly weapons, their blades cutting through reality itself—it was clear the process hadn't worked perfectly.

Each swing erased whatever it touched. Their sword energy destroyed matter effortlessly.

Yet strangely, the ship was still perfectly fine.

The attacks weren't touching the real world.

That was because Rin Yuki had casually created a pocket dimension for them to fight in.

What everyone saw? It was just a projection of the real battle.

"…Alright. Let's end it here," Tia said, looking tired. Her mood was clearly low.

Then—

"Don't give up, Tia."

Nemesis spoke up, a mischievous look in her eyes.

"Awww, don't be so quick to quit, Tia," she purred. "If you just… work a little harder—and maybe squeeze a bit more out of our dear Master Yuki—wouldn't that solve everything?"

Tia's face went bright red at those words.

Flustered, she started waving her hands around, then quickly ran off like a startled animal.

"I-I'm heading back to the lab! I need to run more tests!"

And just like that, the embarrassed scientist fled, her face still burning.

"Hehe~"

Nemesis smirked as she watched her run, clearly enjoying the reaction.

Rin Yuki just shook his head.

Nemesis had a mean streak—playful and teasing. She liked to act dominant around others.

Well, around everyone except Rin Yuki.

With a flick of his hand, Yuki pulled Eve and Mea out of the pocket dimension and back into the room. Then he reached over and pinched Nemesis's cheek.

"Stop bullying Tia. You know how she is—if you push too far, she might short-circuit."

"Hehe~ Okay, okay, Master~"

Nemesis grinned, pretending to pout.

"Then why don't you punish me~?"

Her voice dropped to a low, sultry tone, hips swaying as she leaned in closer.

"Pervert."

Eve muttered the word softly, her cheeks slightly red.

Meanwhile, Mea's eyes lit up.

"Oooh, sounds like fun! I want in too!"

Yuki stared at the two girls—one shameless and seductive, the other eager and glowing with mischief.

And finally… he snapped his fingers again.

With another wave of his hand, he scooped up Mea and Nemesis—

And vanished on the spot, leaving Eve behind in the now quiet room.
