Chapter 6 - SSS Rank Black Hole

Elias concluded either they are here to kill him even after he succeeded or to kidnap him.

Both his country and family may want him dead if they perceive him to be a danger, but only a foreign country would want to kidnap him and use his power for themselves.

Elias knew he would succeed. He felt it; he would control the Black Hole, but the danger lay in whether his family and country wanted him dead.

After brooding more, he shook his head. His country would never want him dead because he is a powerful asset.

Every country prided themselves in having Disaster Level Powerhouses. He as a Black Hole owner is something Six Clover Country would love to have.

His family was under scrutiny; President Ramsey's eyes were on them. Even if they wanted to kill him, they wouldn't want to cross him.

Perhaps rival families within the country, but no matter how Elias thought, he couldn't stop thinking that his country wouldn't be a danger to him.

They would want to turn him into a puppet even if they fear.

President Ramsey would make sure of that, but other countries weren't deterred; they couldn't be controlled or stopped by the President.

"Sigh!" No matter what it was, he needed to fully awaken to worry about this.

'Wait. Did they hack my suit and listen to what I'm saying? Was that the reason the person was coming close? I did stupidly say I'm feeling my power, and they think I have a chance of success. If that is the case, they can be either an enemy or ally!'

Elias sat and asked, "How far are we from the Great Gouge?"

[We are 17,568 miles away]

"That far and I'm feeling this?"

[Affirmative. But there are smaller cracks that extend from there to here. They are the conduits of the feelings]

"Oh. Wait, does this Red Horn extend from one of the smaller cracks?"

[Affirmative. Red Horn is embedded deeper into the chasm; this is the tip of the horn]

"Take me where the Red Horn rose!"

[Are you sure? You will faint]

"I don't want to destroy a tip; we need to take out the root too!"

[If your command is to take you to the Great Chasm, then I shall do that]

Elias braced himself as his body ran forward, the same terror gripped him till he fainted.

[02:30:30]

Elias stood before the great chasm, his eyes failed to see the end of it, even the suit scanner only showed darkness and occasional red hues.

[Small Critters are feeding on the Red Horn. It's been the source of their food for years now.]

Elias recognized them; there used to be swarms of them in some parts of the world in the past.

"How long is the Horn?"

[Few thousand kilometers]

Elias swallowed hard, failing to comprehend the enormity of the actual owner of the Horn. No wonder the world was in shambles.

The heat in his eyes had increased and his skin was burning. He bravely walked toward the Red Horn where it emerged from the depths of the earth and stood before it.

His skin, despite being protected behind numerous layers of protection, was burning red, but due to the solution he was bathed in, his pain sensation had reduced considerably.

[01:00:52]

He had only one hour, and the talent urge was pushing forward to be unleashed. Elias stretched his right hand to the Red Horn body and felt his power.

He stayed like this for a few minutes. He could hold it; he could control it; he had always been able to do it. Then he unleashed it.

[Emergency Protocol Initiated]

The suit flew fast and dived into the Great Chasm.

"What?"

[Emergency Protocol Initiated]

The boots of the suit blasted with forceful fire, and he was propelled deep into the darkness where numerous swarms of red locusts were.

"This...this has always been the plan!"

[Emergency Protocol Initiated]

Red Locusts attacked him, but the suit maneuvered around them until he came to their hive—an endless swarm of them, large and small, and each turned to face him.

Amidst the endless swarm was an enormous mountain, green in color, shining. He knew that ore mines; he knew the history behind it. Six Leaf Clover had lost it to Calamity Swarm and failed to reclaim it.

"This was the plan!"

The Locusts attacked. Elias didn't panic, but in his mind, he wondered why he wasn't told the truth. It wouldn't have changed anything if he was to destroy this or that.

His hand raised, and he stopped holding back.

SSS-rank Talent: Black Hole unleashed.

First with a ripple in the air, all sound vanished, vibrations came to a halt, and a dark dot appeared before Elias's right palm.

It was so small and so innocent, it blinked in and out seeing the world for the first time. It was like a baby peeking out to see if it could come out, and nothing was stopping it.

Up until now, Elias was confident; he grasped it well, and he knew he could control it, but then it expanded.

[Goodbye, Elias Grimhammer. Your mother will have 0.1% of the mine]

A female voice came from the helmet as his hand was being shredded by the expanding black hole.

A bleak realization: there was no way he could hold that power. It was an undeniable truth that he couldn't control it. it was vast, majestic, chaotic and unfathomable.

With his left hand, out of desperation, he tried to push the black hole away, to fling it away from his body. There was an effect of halting, but not by much.

The suit was shredded, and a massive Black Hole hundreds of kilometers graced the world in all of its glory. What was amazing was it had no suction force beyond ten meters of its body.

It stood black, eerie and silent, warping space and time, the world stood still in bow.

"That would have destroyed us!" President Ramsey said, standing inside a Glass Aircraft made using one of the Noble Bloodlines of Six Leaf Clover Country.

Snap!

The Black Hole vanished with a deafening sound that shook the rest of the continents around.

"Send investigators!" the president ordered.
