After a week , king Xander returned to his
kingdom. He had informed his brother about the upcoming celebration of the twins. News spread in the kingdom like wildfire. Everyone was eager to meet the new royals and the future heir to the throne .
Xander, I missed you so much ; Phoebe said. I missed you too;Xandr replied and they both shared a passionate kiss. Xander then went with Phoebe to see his kids . He had missed them do much, and he recalled how he always thought of them and prayed for their safety. Xander kissed their foreheads and ordered the elders to father at the main hall for a meeting .
Your majesty King Xander , we welcome you back to your homeland ;Elder Merdock chimed in . Thank you elder Merdock. I can see that I left the kingdom in good hands. Thank you for your cooperation and your commitment. At this point , I called you here to announce to all of you that the celebration of the existence of my children is about to take place. I want your advice and your contribution to this ceremony.
King Xander ;Elder Caleb began to speak . For this celebration on my opinion , we should invite all the Royal families in the neighbouring kingdoms . We can use this opportunity to strengthen our relationship with them. Moreover for the past five years , there has not been any form of tension between any of the kingdoms. Perhaps we can let loose of the security in the kingdom.
But Elder Caleb , we can never be sure of the what is going to happen. What if someone uses that advantage to attack;an elder said .
They all turned their heads in the direction of King Xander , waiting for what he had to say. I have heard your opinions but, we are going according to what Elder Caleb said . But for the security, I am going to loosen it up a bit to allow people to enter.
Elder Merdock make sure to the best designers to decorate the place . We need to get the place in order for the celebration . Elder Caleb , gather your team to begin giving out invitation letters to the families of other kingdoms. For now , we are done with the meeting but the other elders should assist in order to quicken the pace of the arrangement.
Xander exited the room after that . He called out to one of the maids to get officer Lincoln. My lord , he is coming ; the maid said politely and left. Officer Lincoln, make sure to get your men ready for anything . Even though I am opening my kingdom to all , someone might use this as an advantage. Your majesty I will get to it as soon as possible;Lincoln replied.
Your majesty Queen Olivia , I have a message for you; a guard called out . The was an eerie silence . The sound of a woman's hills broke the silence. What could the message be ?; the Queen asked as she gracefully sat in her royal chair . Spill it out ;she arrogantly shouted. The message says that , King Xander and Queen Phoebe of the kingdom of Mistletoe has invited you to a celebration in honour of their twins; the guard replied.
If that is all, you can leave. After the guard had left she walked to her room . This was the kingdom of Atlantia . The kingdom was great and rich in everything . I saw this coming and now is the time to strike . They will all be merry and be drunk with wine and we can finally get our hands on those twins .
Guards!!! ;Queen Olivia shouted. Assemble all the sorcerers and the magicians , ready the chariots , prepare your men . For we strike on the day of the celebration .
Your highness Queen Phoebe, the royal seamstress is around . Can she come in, she wants to take your measurements; Hannah called out.
Hannah let her come in. Hannah together with the seseamstress came into the room and Phoebe got up to be measured. Your majesty , can I hold your babies. Of course Hannah .
Hannah held the babies , one on each hand and sat down to glare at their faces. Look at how cute they look. They are so beautiful I wish I had a child on my own . Hannah don't worry. You will find the man of your choice. Your majesty , I am just a lowly maid and I don't think I will ever find the love of my heart. Hannah you can't say that because you don't know what is going to happen in the future.
Days passed and the citizens of the kingdom set up the place for the celebration and they were very happy for the king and Queen .
Xander please be quick. The guests are already here . You need to greet them .; Phoebe said as she fed the babies. Xander was dressed in his white apparel. His hair was combed backwards , revealing his elegant blue eyes. Xander you always seem to take my breath away. You look extremely charming; Phoebe said . She gave Xander a sweet kiss . She had finished feeding the babies and she called Hannah to help with her dress.
After dressing, she carried her babieswith the help of Hannah to the room where the celebration was taking place. She wore a long green velvet dress that matched her green eyes. She walked with elegance to where her husband was.
Xander was dumbfounded when he saw Phoebe but he composed himself. You look very beautiful today . I just can't my eyes off you ; Xander whispered to Phoebe.
King Xander , we bring greetings from our kingdom;Xavier said. Phoebe went up to hug Xavier and Merian. It's been so long ;Phoebe said. Yeah it has been so long but we are glad that you were able to make it out alive . Congratulations; Xavier said .
Phoebe continued to chat with Merian whiles Xavier discussed a few things with his brother. After some time , Xander walked to a high balcony and gave his greetings to everyone. I, king Xander would like to thank you all for making it here to the celebration.
He rose the two kids and mentioned the names . After that, he rose his cup to declare a toast. The door to the the celebration grounds was jerked open by Queen Olivia.
Your Majesty, I Queen Olivia of kingdom of Atlantia brings greetings from my kingdom of Atlantia.. I need to take my leave for now; Olivia said and left the hall.
After some minutes, there was a commotion outside. All the citizens were running around . A guard barged into left it room. He was covered in sweat and he was terrified .
Your Majesty, the kingdom is under attack. Xander made Lincoln take his wife and the babies to a hidden place in the castle . She went along with Merian and other Queens . The king and his brother Xavier , together with the knights, fought against the evil intruders.
Well, well , well ; Olivia said as she came to the bedroom. She checked the craddle and saw that the babies were missing. Where are they?
Olivia searched throughout the castle . She made her magicians attack the kings and the knights to distract them in order to take the babies away.
She started some incantations, trying to track the babies but still to know avail .
Your Majesty, who could those people be ; Hannah worriedly asked . Just then Erin started to cry . Phoebe tried to calm him but Estella also joined him . They tried all their best but they couldn't calm the babies.
Don't worry . Your babies are fine . It is just that someone is disturbing them ; a voice from deep within the tunnel said . The voice startled Phoebe. Who are you;she asked . You don't need to know who I am but I am on your side . Who is disturbing them;Phoebe asked.
I don't know but she wants your babies. Phoebe was scared and worried. Why would someone want my children;she thought .
Your Majesty this people are so strong . It appears they have been preparing for this day for along time; Lincoln said .
We have to defeat them . The king gave a signal and the archers fired their arrows but the opposing kingdom used a spell to turn the arrows into droplets of water. King Xander's magicians made the ground where Olivia's men were to open . It did swallow majority of them but the rest of Olivia 's men set the place on fire. Xander's men tried to quench the fire but it seems like no amount of water could put out the fire .
Olivia came out of the castle angry since she she couldn't find the children . She communicated telepathically to her people to make them retreat and go back to the kingdom .
Your Majesty they are retreating . Should we go after them ? No need Lincoln; Xander said . The king was puzzled as to why the people retreated. It felt like someone was trying to distract them . He was even more puzzled because he couldn't figure out the people that made the attack and the person that was behind all of this .
