Slowly, Kaya turned to look at Cutie and gestured toward the mongoose still lying in a pool of blood.
"Clean him up," she said simply.
With that, Kaya walked directly out of the room, heading to another chamber to sleep. The day ahead was still long, and she needed rest.
The door closed behind her with a soft click, leaving the others standing in the bloodied room with the broken mongoose.
Cutie stood motionless for a moment, then moved to follow her orders. Sparrow remained frozen in the corner, his entire body still trembling uncontrollably.

The next morning, when Kaya woke and stepped out of her room, she looked completely refreshed. Her hair was slightly tousled from sleep, but her expression was calm and serene—like she'd just had the most peaceful night's rest in the world.
She stretched her arms above her head, letting out a satisfied sigh. "Aaah."
Then she looked down at the main area.
Three figures sat there—Veer, Cutie, and Sparrow.
