"Sonic..."
Shadow kept all their text messages to look at along with pictures and videos they did. He felt really nervous when he opened it to see what Sonic said...worried that he might be too late. Taking a few deep breaths, pushed those thoughts out of his mind and started to relax a bit. After searching the last year, he finally gets to bring Sonic home and fulfill his promise to Sonia. He looks at the text Sonic sent...looking carefully for any signs he might still be in danger.
Hey Shadow it's Sonic. I'm really sorry I've been away for the last year, but it wasn't by choice. Everybody hates me and I've always hoped you aren't one one those mobians that turned their back on me for something I couldn't prevent. I'm really scared and I only trust you Shadow. I'm hiding and not sure where to go. I only want to be with you and if you reject me I will respect your decision. Just know I care about you and I didn't want any of this to happen. I've been wanting to contact you this entire time but couldn't. I hope to hear from you.
Shadow felt a mixture of butterflies and a sickening feeling in his stomach. He knew it was time and it was finally happening, so he texted Sonic back.
Sonic I want to be with you too, and I've spent this last year looking for you. I have a home for both of us and have never thought different. I can come get you right now but where are you?
It took a few minutes before Shadow got a response which he took as something happened to Sonic. Then he finally got the location as to where Sonic is hiding.
I'm under the bridge at Emerald Park. I am happy to know you never stopped worrying about me Shads.
He knew exactly where that was, so he grabs his keys and walks out the door to his car heading for the location.
