Chapter 86 - Chapter 86: How Dare You Smear My Sister?

Monica was the one who set the trap, and Joshua was the snake within it.

As for John—he was Monica's prey.

At the beginning, Monica hadn't been particularly interested in John. However, when she first saw him at the Greenland Villa, something changed, and she found herself lusting after him.

Yes, Monica was lusting after John. So, before today's dinner, she had specifically called Queenie and asked her to bring him along.

Now that John had drunk the juice, Monica had practically succeeded in her plot.

Monica sat next to John, leaning against him deliberately as they chatted and laughed. John, however, pretended to remain oblivious.

After a while, Queenie let out a soft exhale and murmured, "Weird, I feel so hot…"

Two charming blushes appeared on her cheeks.

It was the same with Monica. She had just taken a sip of the orange juice with John, and now both of them were beginning to feel the effects of the substance within.

Joshua had been keeping his eyes on Queenie. The sight of her face flushed with two perfect blushes drove him wild.

His focus shifted from Queenie's beauty, however, when he suddenly realized something.

He turned to John, who was watching him with an expression that conveyed amusement, his eyes sharp and fully alert.

"Didn't you drink orange juice?" Joshua asked, his voice tinged with confusion.

He had clearly watched John and Monica drink it together just moments before, so why hadn't it worked on John?

John, of course, wasn't about to reveal the secret. The drug had been neutralized by the vital energy in his body, making him immune.

"Joshua," John sneered, "you really put on a good show!"

Joshua's eyes widened as panic set in. But he quickly regained his composure, glancing at John with a glint of malice in his eyes.

"Come on, buddy," Joshua smirked. "We're all men here. Don't pretend like you don't want her. She's someone's mistress—a slut…"

Joshua believed, still, that Queenie had a special relationship with the Duke of Southern River.

But before he could finish his insult, John's expression hardened, his eyes turning cold.

"How dare you slander my sister?" he growled.

John's anger surged. His protective instincts kicked in, and he couldn't stand anyone smearing his sister's name. Without hesitation, he kicked Joshua hard and, in a swift movement, pulled out a slender needle, inserting it into a pressure point on Joshua's body.

"Ah!! What did you do to me?!" Joshua screamed, his voice filled with horror.

John's face remained emotionless as he coldly responded, "You'll find out soon enough."

Monica, whose own body was beginning to burn with desire due to the drug, tried to lean against John again, but her advance was quickly halted. John's icy glare sent chills down her spine. She immediately snapped back, startled, but her mind quickly succumbed to the drug's effect again.

In a desperate move, Monica tore at her clothes and lunged at Joshua, driven by the same urges the drug had caused in her.

Joshua, however, was suffering too much to be of any use to her. He screamed in agony once again, his voice hoarse with pain.

"Ah!! You bastard… What did you do to me?!"

Joshua could barely comprehend the torment he was enduring. The needle John had used had sealed a crucial acupoint in his body. Now, every time he came into close contact with a woman, he would experience excruciating pain, far worse than castration.

It was a cruel punishment—one that made even the thought of touching a woman unbearable.

Joshua rolled on the ground in agony, but Monica, still overcome with the drug's influence, was relentless. The scene was chaotic, cruel, and shocking.

John watched the scene impassively, his face stone cold.

Just as he was about to leave, carrying Queenie to safety, a soft voice reached his ears.

"John, I feel bad…"

John's heart jolted as he turned to see Queenie, now teetering on the edge of unconsciousness, tearing at her own clothes. He immediately rushed to her, lifting her up and rushing her to the Maple Hotel.

As he entered the hotel lobby and checked in, a man in a suit, who had been minding his own business, suddenly froze as he caught a glimpse of Queenie.

He had seen many strange things in his time, but something about Queenie's face made him pause.

"Why does she look so much like her?" the man wondered to himself.

The man hurried to the hotel reception, where he quickly inquired about the guests' names.

The receptionist glanced at the registration form and replied, "The man's name is John, and the lady's name is Queenie…"

The man repeated the name under his breath, his eyes flashing with recognition.
