Jayden could not help the pain that came with those words, but he had his head straight.
Arriving at Governor Roderick's office, he was welcomed as expected, but was given a noticeable cold look.
Governor Roderick surely would have heard about Governor Ian's resignation, so he would be curious to know what had caused it.
Jayden wasn't worried about that at all... He had made it straight to him that anyone could be free to step down from their posts, as there would be willing figures to take over.
That was the slightest of problems for him at this point, and the main reason he was here was to have a talk with the Governor to address the state after what happened.
