Well, having a baby wasn't even among the list of plans Jayden had at this period. Of course, why would he have such a thing in mind, when there was a large conflict incoming, and quite a huge job to do to unite the nation together?
His whole body froze the moment Temi let those words out, and for a moment, he couldn't even move his lips.
"What?" Temi asked.
"Uhh... Nothing... It's just that... I um..."
"You are not ready to be a father? Is that what you want to say?" Temi cut in with a seriously curious look on her face.
Jayden hesitated before nodding.
"You know, uhm... We are all going through a lot right now, and I think it might just be a bad idea to think about getting you pregnant. At least not now... Not when we aren't lawfully wedded," Jayden said.
"Is that so?" Temi asked with furrowed brows.
And without hesitating too much, Jayden nodded.
Temi stayed silent for a moment and shrugged before striking a smile.
