Chapter 50 - Large Plane Fragment (I)

Three days later

In the void, a mysterious plane lay in silence.

Suddenly, six massive light gates burst open across the tranquil grassland. Swirling vortexes shimmered within each gate, illuminating the field with ethereal light.

From the two largest gates, a pair of enormous eagles soared out and flapped into the sky with a cry that echoed for miles. A moment later, black-armored warriors emerged in formation, moving swiftly to secure both sides of the portal. Behind them, wave after wave of soldiers marched out with precision and confidence.

Before long, the six armies had fully assembled.

With a final flicker, the portals closed behind them.

Although the forces gathered in the same area, they did not merge. Instead, they arranged themselves according to the plan laid out in advance.

At the front stood the Tauren warriors, clad in heavy armor and built like walls of living steel, forming an impenetrable tank line. Behind them, the half-elf archers of Forest held their positions with bows at the ready. On the flanks, the dark warriors of Su Xingyu and the light-armored troops of Lin Ye formed a deadly dual force. Behind them, the Lizardman Legion of Lava stood ready, and at the rear, five thousand heavy infantry guarded the rear flank.

"Well?" Lin Ye asked with a grin, eyes scanning the vast military display.

"Very strong," Su Xingyu replied with a nod. His tone was calm, but his eyes held unmistakable approval.

"You two are monsters, huh? I thought I was unbeatable with ten thousand Tauren in full plate, but now I'm not so sure..." Mo Kongwu, the Tauren player, glanced at the sleek formations of human warriors beside his troops, his expression filled with awe.

Tens of thousands of level-two extraordinaries, each equipped with silver-grade gear. Was this the kind of force players could command at this stage?

Fang Xingchen, the God of Lava, let out a low whistle. "Damn, that's terrifying." Despite already anticipating their strength during the group chat, seeing it in person was another story altogether.

Every soldier radiated power. Rows of elite warriors, all extraordinary rank and heavily equipped, stood like a moving fortress.

Zhang Kexin, the only woman among them, looked around with admiration written all over her face.

Though the armies were ready, they didn't move immediately. Instead, they held position, waiting for reconnaissance or orders.

Suddenly, Su Xingyu frowned. His Sky-Splitting Eagle, circling high above, had spotted a disturbance on the horizon.

"What is it?" Lin Ye asked, catching the shift in his expression.

"There are goblins approaching from the north, roughly ten kilometers out. Tens of thousands of them," Su Xingyu answered flatly.

"Goblins? Only tens of thousands?" Lin Ye relaxed, smirking. "That's hardly a threat."

For a force of this size, even a hundred thousand goblins would barely count as a warm-up.

Naturally, sending the full army would be overkill.

Lin Ye looked around, pausing on Su Xingyu and Mo Kongwu. "One of us should take care of it. Who's up?"

They were the strongest here, and their legions could crush the goblins swiftly and with minimal losses.

"I'll handle it," Mo Kongwu said, stepping forward without hesitation.

Soon after, the goblin horde came into view. They surged across the plains in a green tide, completely unaware of the destruction waiting for them.

"For the glory of my god!" the leading Minotaur bellowed, raising a massive axe that gleamed in the light. "Warriors, charge! Crush the enemy!"

"For the glory of my god!"

Ten thousand heavily armored Minotaurs charged across the plain. Each step was thunder, each warrior a juggernaut. Though massive, their momentum was shocking — their speed rivaled even lighter units.

The earth trembled beneath them.

As the two forces neared, the goblins finally caught sight of what awaited them.

They broke ranks in an instant, turning to flee with shrill cries of panic.

But it was too late.

"Cowardly creatures who flee without a fight! Warriors of the Glory Tribe, show them what true courage is!"

The minotaur commander roared and surged forward, his rage igniting like a flame. The warriors behind him howled in fury and picked up speed.

Then the two sides collided.

It was not a battle. It was a massacre.

Boom! Boom!

Minotaurs slammed into goblins like a tidal wave of iron. Some goblins were crushed outright, others flung through the air like ragdolls.

The minotaur leader's axe blazed with crimson energy. He swung with terrifying force, and a wide arc of blood-red power erupted from the blade, forming a deadly semicircle in front of him.

In an instant, dozens of goblins were severed in half. The ground ran slick with blood.

All around, minotaurs crushed goblins beneath shields or tore through them with brute strength. Each strike shattered bones, each stomp ended a life.

A few desperate goblins fought back. One leapt high, snarling, and hurled itself at a warrior's throat.

Swoosh—

A short axe flashed, and the goblin's head flew from its shoulders.

"Kill!"

"Kill!"

"Fight for my lord!"

The chant grew louder with every fallen goblin. Despite their numbers, the goblins were utterly overpowered. They fell like leaves in a storm.

In less than an hour, it was over.

Tens of thousands of goblins lay dead across the field, their twisted bodies scattered like broken dolls. Few were left intact. The minotaurs fought with a savagery that left nothing but ruin in their wake.

"So strong," Fang Xingchen whispered, glancing at his own Lizardman warriors and then back at the towering minotaurs.

His troops could win against goblins too, but not like that. Not with such overwhelming dominance.

Damn it, he thought. With that kind of strength, that kind of defense, and bodies built like siege engines, these minotaurs were born to be battlefield tanks.

Even Su Xingyu was impressed.

He had expected the Minotaurs to win easily. Most were second-level extraordinaries, after all, and physically stronger than the goblins. But their sheer speed and ferocity in heavy armor exceeded his expectations.

A little while later, the Sky-Splitting Eagle returned with fresh reconnaissance.

Su Xingyu gave his report.

"The goblin tribe's main force is concentrated forty kilometers to the north. The Jackals are east of here. No sign of the Murlocs yet."

Lin Ye tapped his chin, then said, "Why don't we start with the goblins? They're the weakest."

Everyone quickly agreed.

"Sounds good."

"Fine with me."

"No problem."

"Let's move."

With that, a massive force of nearly 150,000 troops began their march, a tidal wave of war rolling north to crush the goblin tribe once and for all.
