Kizaru stood up from his chair, adjusted his sunglasses, and said, "My, my, a group of terrifying individuals have appeared! I thought this would be a simple task, but my luck is truly terrible!"
With that, Kizaru's body dispersed into light particles and re-condensed in an instant beside the group.

Drake landed on a half-destroyed platform, waving his hand to disperse the surrounding smoke and flames.
Egghead had a two-layered structure. The lower layer was the factory district, housing various factories, living facilities, and residences for workers and researchers.
And in mid-air was an artificial island cloud created to resemble a Sky Island, and above that artificial island cloud was the research layer. That was the core area of Egghead, the location of Vegapunk's research institute and various inventions.

Drake landed on a platform above the research layer.
For some reason, the Marines' bombardment had intentionally avoided the research layer, yet it was still damaged.
Originally, the research layer resembled a detached eggshell, but now it had a large hole, revealing its complex mechanical structure within. Sparks continued to fly from the edges of the hole, indicating that someone had violently broken in.
Drake could sense the distorted life aura emanating from within the research layer.
