Even as Edolas Drake described his abilities, Drake felt a strange intuition.

Wait a minute… a lancer who, dissatisfied with being a Lucky E, decided to become a Saber?

While there were differences, Edolas Drake's setup was awfully reminiscent of a certain knight.

Drake quickly refocused; this battle allowed no room for carelessness.

"[Four Symbols Fist, Azure Dragon: Flowing Water!]"

Drake's body blurred, moving through the dense sword strikes. None of the blades connected.

Edolas Drake showed surprise, clearly not expecting such a skill.

He loosened his grip, and his sword strikes became even faster and more erratic.

Drake stopped, then retreated.

The Azure Dragon style of the Four Symbols Fist was powerful, but not without limits.

Edolas Drake was undoubtedly "world's strongest," his swordsmanship on par with Edolas Wendy's.

Drake sensed that if he continued to approach, the Azure Dragon style wouldn't be enough to evade the blades.

Facing the oncoming Edolas Drake, Drake unleashed a torrent of searing flames.

The raging inferno engulfed and destroyed the palace structures, but Edolas Drake had already evaded the attack.

Observing his counterpart's face, Drake gained a deeper understanding of his abilities.

Edolas Drake's sword could cleave through tangible objects. Tangible referred to physical matter and magical constructs, but not intangible magic or magic with a flowing nature.

Drake's flames would be his primary weapon.

Edolas Drake, in turn, had also assessed Drake's abilities—Fire Dragon Slayer magic and his mastery of martial arts.

Edolas Drake licked his lips, a cruel smile spreading across his face.

Drake displayed a look of disgust. "That expression on your face is truly unsettling; therefore…"

Drake instantly closed the distance, his flaming fist striking with devastating force.

"Kindly submit to defeat, shall you?"

Drake's voice accompanied the clang of steel on steel.

Edolas Drake saw the faint scale patterns on Drake's face; he knew his opponent was now fighting seriously.

Thrilled, Edolas Drake parried Drake's punch with his twin swords, immediately countering with a fierce attack.

With Dragon Force activated, Drake's speed and power had significantly increased, yet he still couldn't gain an advantage.

In the ruins Gray had created, they moved and exchanged blows, their clash generating a hurricane-force wind that leveled the surrounding debris.

A small cut on Drake's face healed rapidly, but a lingering curse magic continued to stimulate his pain receptors, only dispelled by the Dragon Force coursing through his blood.

That was the Hellish Sword's ability; it was a significant hindrance.

However, the Opening Sword proved even more troublesome.

Drake's seemingly indestructible spirit armors, the Dragon Slayer armguards and the Dragon Slayer arm, were now heavily damaged.

Many scales on the Dragon Slayer armguard were shattered, and the Dragon Slayer arm was crisscrossed with deep cuts.

Were it not for the fact that the spirit armors were manifestations of his soul, offering some resistance to the Opening Sword's power, they would have been cleaved asunder long ago.

Pressure—Drake rarely felt this kind of pressure. Even across multiple worlds, few battles had truly tested him like this.

Edolas Wendy, Jose, Nidhogg—none had been like Edolas Drake.

In this battle, Drake felt his soul screaming for victory. His fighting spirit burned even brighter; he sensed Edolas Drake felt the same.

The greatest difference between the two Drakes wasn't their abilities but their beliefs, shaped by their vastly different experiences.

Both considered the other's path to be fundamentally flawed, and verbal persuasion was clearly out of the question.

Their hands and blades collided once more; a burst of flame erupted, followed by multiple sword strikes that sliced through the flames.

Drake realized he had underestimated Edolas Drake's swordsmanship; it wasn't magic that had parted the flames, but sheer, unadulterated skill.

Drake was forced back, Edolas Drake similarly blown away by the explosive force of the flames.

They exchanged a brief, intense gaze, before resuming their deadly dance.

"[Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!]"

Drake combined the flames in both hands, forming a miniature sun, which he hurled directly at Edolas Drake.

Edolas Drake's swordsmanship was arguably peerless, yet even his exceptional skill was constrained by the laws of this world; cleaving through a fireball of such magnitude was simply impossible.

Edolas Drake lowered his body, his twin swords positioned one in front of the other, adopting a rather unusual stance.

"If one sword is insufficient, then I shall employ ten, a hundred!"

Were Knightwalker, who had served as both comrade and adversary to Edolas Drake, present, she would undoubtedly recognize the technique being employed.

In Edolas, while individuals like Sugarboy exhibited an overreliance on the power of magical tools, others, such as Knightwalker and Edolas Drake, had dedicated themselves to honing their innate physical capabilities.

Unlike Knightwalker, Edolas Drake, in the process of refining his physical prowess, had also developed a unique and highly refined swordsmanship style.

"[Secret Sword: Spider's Thread!]"

A network of sword strikes, intricate and precise, formed a formidable barrier, effectively dissecting and neutralizing the fireball launched by Drake.

"[Secret Sword: Lightning Bolt!]"

Edolas Drake's form vanished instantaneously, traversing the fragmented remains of the fireball to unleash a devastating attack upon Drake from behind.

A massive gash was cleaved into the earth, yet Edolas Drake had failed to connect with his target.

Edolas Drake lifted his gaze, his eyes fixed upon Drake, who had taken to the air.

Drake raised his leg, delivering a devastating blow that descended like a battleaxe. Edolas Drake, demonstrating his tactical acumen, wisely chose to evade the attack rather than risk a direct confrontation.

In terms of sheer physical strength, Edolas Drake was at a distinct disadvantage, even with the double magical enhancement he possessed over his fellow Edolans.

Drake, however, was a different matter entirely. The physical constitution of a Dragon Slayer was inherently formidable, and Drake's substantial magical enhancements were far beyond the capabilities of ordinary individuals.

Moreover, Drake had activated his Dragon Force, further augmenting his physical capabilities.

A massive crater, several meters in radius, appeared on the ground, followed by the earth-shattering sound of a catastrophic collapse.

"[Fire Dragon's Roar!]"

Drake showed no sign of relenting, unleashing a torrential pillar of fire.

Edolas Drake was completely enveloped by the inferno, his form vanishing entirely within the flames.

Drake, however, did not allow himself to be lulled into a false sense of security by the apparent demise of his opponent, for Edolas Drake's form reappeared at his side with startling speed.

"[Secret Sword: Mirror Image!]"

Drake raised his arm to deflect the black and crimson Hellish Sword, but the unstoppable Opening Sword forced him into a hasty retreat.

Drake had unleashed his Dragon Force; Edolas Drake, in response, had fully unleashed his formidable swordsmanship.

"Then let us determine who possesses the greater number of trump cards!" Drake declared.
