Yuno and Nacia were stunned at the news of marsh singlehandedly destroying an army by himself,
Runa rushed in and pounced on me as she spoke up.
"Alpha dismissed me... I Cant be useful anymore..." she said softly as i look at her
"well you pouncing on me wouldnt make sense for why these scummy factions target us and dismiss you." i responded, getting back up and looking at marsh.
He seemed... silent.. almost too silent... he walked slowly towards me with his scythe grinding against the floor.
"Woah dude are you okay?" i say to him.
nacia looked in shock as marsh grabbed me by the shoulder.
"Give me an explaination Marcus." marsh spoke up, demanding for an explaination.
"For what?" i said before i got punched to the stomach.
"WHY ARE PEOPLE AFTER US!?" he yelled.
"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THEY ARE AFTER US?! DONT YOU SEE THAT WE'RE OUT OF THE CITY?! IN FACT THEY ALREADY KNOW OUR LOCATION BY NOW SO LETS MOVE!" i yell back at him as he gave me a slap across the face.
"No one knows this wasteland marcus.. it's unknown to any faction and your goddamn brain didnt comprehend that they have put a chip on you." he said as he turned me around and snatched something off my back of the neck.
"you mean to tell me all this time THEY HAVE PUT A CHIP ON ME!?" i yelled in absolute rage.. i was blinded from the city but he proved me wrong... i was a sheep amongst delta. amongst every faction within the city.
"i was foolish for not noticing that." i said softly to marsh.
"Marcus, i hope you understand i dont take simple things lightly. i was trained that way too.."
he responded.
Nacia sighed as she slammed her hand down "who the hell put a chip on marcus?...." she spoke softly, a faint of anger was visible to everyone in the room.
"if i knew sooner this chaos wouldnt have happened nacia.. none of us would be in a huge situation" i responded. hiding away my anger as well.
Yuno put her knife close to my throat and stared at me like she was about to rip me into pieces
"So You're the delta boy huh?... those pesky bastards torture people for profit" she spoke harshly as if she's cutting the air thin.
"We were part of delta yuno. all of us... except you and runa." i responded
"HOW COME THEY DECIDED IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO INVADE MARSH'S HOUSE HUH!? WHO ELSE GOT THE DATA FROM HERE?! WHO WOULD HAVE ENOUGH SIGNAL TO SEND TO THE HEADQUARTERS!? THEY PUT THAT DAMN CHIP ON YOU WITH FULL AWARENESS THAT YOU MIGHT BE OUTSIDE THE CITY JUST TO TAKE YOU IN FOR MORE TORTURE!" Yuno yelled at me, tearing up slowly as she held it close to my throat than ever before.
"IF I KNEW IT SOONER DO YOU THINK THEY'D FIND US!? DO YOU THINK THEY'D GET TO THE WASTELANDS LIKE THAT?! WE WOULD BE LIVING A NORMAL LIFE IF ANY ONE OF YOU GUYS NOTICED IT SOONER BECAUSE I DONT HAVE EYES ON MY BACK NOW DO I!?" i yelled back at yuno as i stormed off.
"NO. ONE. FOLLOWS ME. GOT IT?!" i say before shutting the door in front of them.
[MARSH POV]
I just witnessed marcus walk out the house as he had an argument with yuno.
i could have prevented this if i was more calm about it, more aware of other possible outcomes i wouldn't wanna come by.
yuno kneeled down and began crying loudly. losing a significant figure to her was devastating but i know i had to bring back marcus one way or another.
"We'll bring marcus back yuno." i assured yuno as i held her close, letting her spill out her emotions.
yuno looked up at me from the crying mess she was and hugged me.
"i want marcus back...." yuno spoke softly, sniffling from her tears.
I'll make it my mission to bring him back.

Cut to the next day as i woke up with runa sleeping peacefully, in place of marcus.
"man..." i sighed heavily as i get up and look out the window.. finding that one way we can bring marcus back.
runa woke up hugging me from behind as i look through the reflection of the window
"Mm, looks like you're very affectionate towards entities." i say to runa.
"Commander, i- Wait why am i calling you commander?" runa said as if her programming changed.
"Commander? do you call your significant others that?" i say to runa giggling softly.
"I was built for warfare.. so i didnt know about love or how to be affectionate i only know how to terminate others like me..." runa explained.
"Sounds like a horrible time dealing with others without caring about your comrades." i responded to runa.
"Well what would you like me to call you?" runa asked me. i thought for a bit and went with a casual yet very straightforward answer. "Just call me marsh for now. i dont wanna go and be called some other nickname" i say to runa.
"Very well.. i guess marsh it is then. i have never felt this emotion before.." runa said softly holding me closely. as yuno giggled
"aww look at those lovebirds~" she started teasing us as i sighed heavily
"dont forget about your lover, marcus miss yuno." i say it with a big smug on my face.
"Oh marcus will regret leaving me alone!~" yuno spoke as if she's gone past it already and ready to reclaim him. typical crazy woman but at least she actually cares for marcus.. nacia on the other hand seems... out of touch..
