Chapter 6 - Chapter 6. It's Frost, Not Ice

"Move! Move!"

Words couldn't describe the fear. The pink - haired girl's face was deathly pale, and her body couldn't stop shaking.

On Jolian's snow - white neck, a new wound slowly split open.

She had a strong premonition that if she saw the second eye, she would surely die!

"Boom!"

At this moment, a huge sword carved from ice fell from the sky and landed straight between the two of them.

The powerful air wave sent the pink - haired girl, along with the broken roof and floor, flying backwards.

Yimansa landed gently and casually supported Jolian, who was on the verge of collapse and could barely stand.

The strange eye on the latter's face closed before the ice sword fell, so she didn't let the pink - haired girl see it.

"I'm saved..."

The pink - haired girl stood up from the debris, her eyes fixed tightly on Jolian, who was already in a coma.

"What on earth are you..."

"Boss!" The lackeys of the [Crow Dog] saw the pink - haired girl being knocked flying and hesitated whether to go forward and check.

"Don't come over. This is beyond what you can handle!"

Lackeys: "Okay, got it! Boss, come on!"

The pink - haired girl ignored the antics of her lackeys and shifted her gaze to the face with a lazy expression.

The previous fear was completely gone, replaced by a strong fighting spirit in her eyes: "Ice Emperor - Yimansa, I've been looking for you for a long time..."

"Oh dear, little Shasha has broken the roof again~"

The door on the second floor opened, and Ms. Vesir came out pushing her ever - same baby carriage.

Yimansa glanced at her and threw Jolian to her: "You should know what you're doing."

"Oh~ I know. Don't be so angry. Jolian is fine, isn't she?"

The lady slightly adjusted the angle of the baby carriage, and a pitch - black thick fog enveloped Jolian.

She was once again drawn into that ridiculous carriage.

"Ice Emperor! I'm talking to you! Where are you looking!"

The pink - haired girl, filled with pent - up anger, was completely enraged. First, she was so scared by a defeated opponent that she couldn't move, and then the person she had always regarded as her rival didn't even deign to give her a glance!

"What do you think I am!"

In an instant, she flashed in front of Yimansa, and black - red flames coiled around her fists again.

But before she could strike, the other party kicked her away.

"It's frost, not ice!"

Yimansa retracted her right leg, raised her hand to take off the glasses on her face, and put them in her pocket.

In an instant, an invisible magic power rippled out from her body, and in a blink of an eye, [The Other Shore] was covered with white ice and snow.

"Black - red flames…" Vesir looked at the pink - haired girl, Wumulian, who was getting up from the ruins again, lost in thought:

"Little Shasha, don't be too harsh. She's Wumulian of the [Crow Dog], and like you, she's also a Saint - Remnant Magus~"

"I heard that she has always regarded you as her rival…"

Yimansa looked at Wumulian again. She had the same scarlet eyes as Jolian.

Then she quickly flashed in front of her opponent.

Before Wumulian could stand up, she was kicked out again.

"Ah!"

Wumulian spat out a mouthful of blood, and her body crashed through several tables before coming to a stop.

"Why is she so strong…"

"Boss!" The lackeys realized the situation was bad and immediately had the idea of running away.

If even the boss couldn't beat the enemy, how could they possibly do it? If they didn't run now, what were they waiting for? To go and be cannon - fodder?

Thinking this way, they disappeared in a flash.

"Yimansa…" The pink - haired girl leaned on the pillar beside her and stood up with difficulty.

Ms. Vesir somehow took out a fan and covered the lower half of her face, as if she couldn't bear to look at Wumulian's sorry state: "It seems I said the wrong thing again."

"How could I possibly lose to a blind piece of trash!" Wumulian roared, and black - red flames blazed all over her body.

"Oops, the little one said the wrong thing too~"

"What did you just say!" The lazy look on Yimansa's face disappeared in an instant.

She completely ignored Wumulian's flames and started kicking her head wildly.

The pink - haired girl, who had been full of anger just now, could only hold up her arms aggrievedly and defend passively.

"Am I wrong!"

After a long time, Wumulian, who had gradually gotten used to the rhythm, seized the opportunity and locked Yimansa's right foot that was kicking over:

"Since I was a child... I've always regarded you as my rival!"

"But as a Saint - Remnant Magus, you couldn't even protect your most precious eyes. Do you deserve the weapon spirit that taught you magic?"

"You…"

Wumulian's words were interrupted by the pain in her abdomen.

She looked down in disbelief and saw several ice spikes emerging from the ankle she was holding, and her abdomen had been completely penetrated.

"What right does someone who knows nothing have to judge me!"

Yimansa seemed to be trying her best to hide the pain in her eyes. The foot that wasn't being held was instantly covered with a layer of ice - blue mist.

She jumped up, and using the force of Wumulian's locked arm, she swung her left leg around and kicked at her head.

"Boom!"

Huge magic power exploded in [The Other Shore], and the already dilapidated house was instantly flattened.

Vesir, holding the unconscious Wumulian, flashed to the side: "Little Shasha, calm down. Those who don't know are innocent. Let this child go this time."

After the thick smoke dissipated, Yimansa brushed the dust off her trouser legs, put her glasses back on, and then looked at Vesir:

"What are you up to again?"

"It's a secret."

Seeing that she didn't want to say, Yimansa didn't ask further. She walked straight to the baby carriage and picked up Jolian inside.

"Hey! Little Shasha!" Ms. Vesir quickly called out to her, but then she thought about it and seemed to think it was okay, so she didn't say anything more.

In the dimly lit room, Jolian was curled up on the bed in a thin nightgown.

She had a very strange dream... She dreamt that for some reason, she seemed to be trapped in a cave.

Everything she could see was darkness. She just stood there, allowing some unknown thing to devour her.

Just then, a candle lit up not far away. Jolian, as if instinctively, walked towards it...

Getting closer, closer!

She was getting nearer and nearer to the only candlelight, and she could even feel its warmth.

Get it! Possess it! Extinguish its flame! Let it fall into this boundless darkness with me.

A continuous stream of crazy thoughts occupied Jolian's mind. She pounced on the only light like a wild beast.

And then she woke up...

Jolian looked at Yimansa, whose clothes were in a mess and who was pinned under her, and couldn't say a word for a long time.

Two explanations of the word "embarrassed" flashed through her mind quickly.

One was that behavior and expression were abnormal; the other was that the situation was difficult and hard to handle.

She thought that she was probably experiencing both now.

"Can you give it to me?" Yimansa stared at the former's eyes in a daze.

One of her hands wrapped around Jolian's neck, bringing her even closer.

"Can you give it to me... I really need it..." As she spoke, Yimansa raised her hand and reached for Jolian's left eye.
