Today Cassie who had been impatiently waiting was so excited... The movie which she had invested in back at her own world was finally starting sn audition for the female lead, Cassie had already put in her investment in this world and was planning to give them the best female lead before Vivian auditions and she had the right person in mind
The actress which replaced Vivian in her own world, Cassie had already been chatting up the girl... The actress Sarah was new to the industry,she normally did background acting
She was excited when Cassie said she had a movie for her as the protagonist but she also had her doubts since she was just a background actress with zero connection
Adrian was busy at work while Cassie took Sarah with her to the investors meeting
Cassie saw the 5 familiar faces,and the director,she didn't bowing get head or giving polite greetings,it was all business, Sarah followed behind her nervously,when Cassie took a seat,Sarah hesitate d before sitting beside her
At first they al talked about the movie and budget,when they started taking about roles in the movie, Cassie who hadn't spoken clears her throat "director,this is Sarah,she's an actress and I'd love to recommend her as the leading role,you can confirm her talent and capability"
One of the guys hits the table "that ridiculous,I've never heard of this actress,why give her such a important role?"
"Mr, I haven't given her the role but I'm introducing her for the audition"
"Why, just because you are the highest investor doesn't mean you have the final say" a lady says,her voice rising
"There there, everyone calm down, Mrs Cassie was showing me a candidate,she didn't even force it on me to accept which shows the respect she has, unlike some who came with their daughter and with money"
Everyone could guess the person,it was the woman who had just raised her voice and also in Cassie old work insulted her mother
"Miss Sarah,I look forward to your audition,come tomorrow, we haven't started looking for the female lead but let me see what you've got"
Sarah smiled politely"thank you very much Mr director"
"Ah,it's nothing"
After the meeting, everyone took their leave,the lady giving Cassie bad eyes but she didn't dare doing anything more after being told by her assistant that Cassie is Adrian person
Cassie took Sarah for lunch since she couldn't get breakfast,they hardly talked but Cassie did congratulate her
Marco wasn't happy, Nian Nian hadn't visited him since morning,his parents were the one who came to look over him, everyone was busy and so even family monthly dinner couldn't be done
Marco had told his parents to try and call Nian Nian since she wasn't picking his call,his mom uses her phone to call,she hands the phone immediately Nian Nian picked
"Hello,aunty" Nian Nian spoke
Marco couldn't help holding the phone really tight "Nian Nian where are you?" His voice was cold,he looked like he was holding something back, Nian Nian on the other hand was shocked and couldn't help stuttering "uhm...you,why are you with aunt's phone?"
"Nian Nian answer the question...and don't you dare cut the call"
Nian Nian finger which was close to the red button stopped,she was sitting in her apartment,she had just left Cassie place... Maybe permanently"Marco I'm at my place"
"Why didn't you come today?"
"I'm kinda busy" there was silence for a while before Marco cuts the call, Nian Nian couldn't help but wonder why he cut it
Meanwhile Marco got up from the hospital bed while his parents tried to stop him
