Robert and Fiona had traveled a long way to reach Landis. Therefore, although they wanted to find clues about Cecilia as quickly as possible, their bodies—especially Fiona's—could hardly stand it anymore. Robert noticed Fiona swaying slightly as the bearded man showed them to their rooms on the second floor of the pub. Fiona tried not to show her fatigue, but Robert noticed it regardless.
"These are the rooms you can use. They're next to each other, so you're free to use whichever one you like."
"Okay, thank you."
The bearded man nodded, then left Robert and Fiona to enter their respective rooms. However, neither of them went in immediately. Fiona waited for permission from Robert, while Robert considered his options for a moment.
"Sir—I mean, Robert. Should we start exploring today?"
Robert finally looked at Fiona as she volunteered to go back to search for clues. Robert stared at her face for a moment, then shook his head slowly.
