The sun had just risen when Cecilia opened her cabin door with light steps. Although her deep sleep had been disturbed by the sudden increase in sea waves as night fell, Cecilia still woke up earlier than the others.
As Cecilia walked down the ship's corridor, she didn't hear Fiona, who was usually busy chatting, or Robert, who would surely visit her shortly after she woke up. She also hadn't seen Aram, which meant everyone was still asleep except for her.
Cecilia continued her steps and climbed onto the deck. Since her journey to Blaine by ship, Cecilia had realized how beautiful the sea they were sailing on was.
"Sigh."
The sea breeze gently blew through her hair as she stepped out, something that made her involuntarily take a deep breath. She smiled slightly. Now that she had been able to let go of the burden that had been weighing on her heart, she realized how beautiful the world she now lived in was.
