SERPENTINE'S POV contd.
**Charges From The Sky—Joseph William Morgan**
"—so that is how I knew it wasn't only one panther that died that night but two—your sick daughter and the king. And in her place rose her full self—the two that will become one. The dragon of the Azure Witches wreathed in fire."
Serpentine instantly drew to her full height, taking steps away from him towards the door without a word. But abruptly, she drew to a stop.
"I shall make a move against your life by midnight." She said without emotion, "If you wish to live after what you've uttered before me, then you must write a convincing memorial to me on why I must spare your life. But if you think for once that anyone can spare you from death in my hands, even your handicapped gods, then I must say that you still have a lot to learn about me."
Then with that, she stormed away from the room to the king's abode, just because her visit to Cedric had finally caused the final puzzle piece to fall in place.
