Chapter 142 - Arrival

Tang Yin was pushing his telepathy to the limit, controlling the Dragon Boat while scanning the underwater depths for soul beasts suitable for Yuehua, who hadn't yet obtained her fifth ring.

To his surprise, he found many soul beasts perfectly suited for her martial soul—focused on support and Spiritual type skills. Tang yin controlled the suitable beasts, grouped them together, and finally descended into the ocean.

Among them were a 40,000-year-old Harmony Coral Serpent and a 50,000-year-old Siren's Echo, both possessing the Spiritual attribute.

Tang yin increased their ages accordingly, and when sacrificed to Yuehua, she gained a very powerful support skill, raising her soul power to level 60 and more.

Fifth Soul Skill: Song of Unbroken Resolve

Soul Beast: Harmony Coral Serpent (80,000 years old)

Type: Willpower Amplification

Effect: Plays a melody that makes all allies immune to fear, charm, mental confusion, and morale breaks for ten minutes, while boosting spiritual defense by 80%. Boosts her Spirit by 160% for half an hour.

Yuehua then successively absorbed another sacrificed Soul beast as her sixth soul ring, increasing her level to 68.

Soul Skill: Melodic Disruption

Soul Beast: Siren's Echo (90,000 years old)

Effect: Begins with gentle, beautiful tones that draw enemies into a trance, then escalates into sharp, dissonant vibrations that damage and disorient them. Weaker mind will become braindead or suffer memory loss.

Afterwards, they resumed their journey toward Sea God Island at full speed, the Dragon Boat, weighing around two tons including their own weight, slicing through the air under Tang Yin's telekinesis.

Twenty Minutes Later—

"Ha… ha…" Tang Yin's breaths came in ragged bursts, each inhale and exhale shaking as he struggled to keep the Dragon Boat steady.

Sweat dripped down his brow, stinging his eyes. For the first time in his life, he truly felt the weight of overexertion—weakness and powerlessness pressing down on him—even as he fought to maintain control.

"Tang Yin!" Everyone looked at him with worry, but he flashed a reassuring smile. Rongrong and Lingling couldn't provide him a mental boost—they didn't have the skill—but silently, they promised themselves they would acquire a Mental Amplification soul skill in the future.

Although he possessed the nearly broken Mental Immunity ability—which protected him from mental attacks, telepathy, mind control, charm, illusions, confusion, fear, and other psychic interference—it unfortunately did not eliminate the strain of spiritual effort.

Using Alpha-class telekinesis to carry around two tons of weight for twenty minutes straight was pure Spiritual exertion, consuming a significant portion of his Mental power.

Tang Yin's Alpha-class telekinesis could barely sustain around five tons for twenty minutes at full strain. Luckily, their destination was within reach, and they made it ashore in just thirty.

After descending, Tang Yin heaved a long sigh of relief, sweat beading on his brow. It was the first time he had truly overexerted himself, and the strange, humbling sensation of weakness and powerlessness pressed down on him.

"Take some rest first. We don't have to rush for now," said Liu Erlong, while the others nodded in agreement, their worry evident.

"Ha… ha… Don't worry. I'm perfectly fine. Let's go," said Tang Yin—how could he, as a man, let his women worry about his stamina?

But before he knew it, he was surrounded by a group of devoted women, each smiling warmly as they gently lifted him.

"Hey! I can walk myself, you know!" Tang yin protested, flailing slightly, though it was pretty obvious he wasn't even using his full strength.

"No way! You've pushed yourself too hard," Rongrong said firmly, her hands steadying him, while Lingling and the others nodded in agreement.

Tang Yin could only let out a resigned chuckle. Fine, fine… I'll let them fuss over me this time, he thought, secretly enjoying their care despite himself as they carried him into the bedroom.

Tang Yin rested for two full hours before he finally recovered. Stretching lightly, he began pondering silently, "Should I form a Soul Core with Spiritual attribute? Or something else?"

Tang Yin yearned for a Spiritual Core—having reached level 70, and after absorbing Seventh ring, he was almost qualified to form one.

He wasn't entirely sure, however, as Spiritual Cores were significantly harder to create than any other attribute. Even Huo Yuhao, with the help of Tianmeng and other soul beasts, had struggled to form one, Tang Yin thought.

Yet if he succeeded, it would allow him to recover both mental power and soul power far more quickly. But he wasn't going to risk it.

Shaking his head, he dismissed the thought.

He needed to focus on Blue Silver Emperor before turning his attention to his other martial souls. He had made up his mind that when the time came, creating a Spiritual Core that would boost his Spirit Brain and Mutant Ability.

Tang yin stood up and exited the Dragon Boat as he took back the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud inside his Spiritual Sea.

"Hmm? It seems there are a lot of Ocean Soul master who passed the Sea God's test in this Island." Tang yin said as he had released his Telepathy to track surrounding soul master.

"How many of them exactly, Tang Yin?" asked Zhuqing, while Zhuyun's ears twitched, trying to gather information in this unfamiliar place.

"There are more than 800 on this coast alone, and the total population of the island is over 200,000," Tang Yin said, scanning with his 50 km telepathic radius.

"Seems we've already been found," Tang Yin murmured as his Purple Demon Eye detected ten approaching Soul Masters. All wore yellow uniforms, marking them as Yellow test takers.

"Who dares to trespass on Sea God Island?" demanded a tall, muscular, middle-aged man, circling them warily while keeping his weapon trained.

Zhuqing and Zhuyun crouched, ready to strike at a moment's notice, but Tang Yin held them back with a subtle gesture, his expression alert yet confident.

"We've heard much about Sea God Island and wish to join you," Tang Yin said, cupping his hands respectfully. His tone was calm yet firm, radiating both confidence and sincerity.

"You're Land Soul Masters, right? This place doesn't welcome you. Leave at once—or don't blame us for being rude," the muscular man and his companions said with disdain, noting their unusual attire.

Tang Yin frowned. Since you're determined to be unreasonable, don't blame me for changing your minds, he thought, subtly preparing to use telepathy to suggest they stand down.

Vmm—

The guards' demeanor shifted immediately. They became much more hospitable, guiding the group through the island and explaining the structure of the Tests and its proud history.

Zhuqing and Zhuyun stared, dumbfounded at the sudden change, but seeing the smirk on Tang Yin's face, they realized he must be behind it and relaxed their vigilance.

Along the way, Rongrong and Meng Yiran were captivated by the beautiful soul beasts and breathtaking scenery. Even Zhuyun couldn't help but let a subtle smile grace her lips, her eyes darting around as she took in the view.

They finally arrived at the Sea Within a Sea, where a pillar—the Seahorse Totem, one of the Sea God Island's Seven Sacred Totems—stood proudly.
