ππ« Welcome, dear information seekers!
The Blue Trade brings you another wave of verified intel straight from the depths of the Story World! Today's topic dives into what keeps the Fragments alive β those who act, guard, record, and even fade away. Let's begin our exploration! ππ

π What are Contracted Players?
They are Players contracted by the Reciter of a Fragment to fill in a specific role. π Let's say the Reciter doesn't want an NPC who can't think for themselves and relies only on their programmed persona to react to something β instead, the Reciter wants someone real, someone who can give different reactions to the same situation depending on the run.
The Reciter wants something that feels alive, so they make a contract with a Player for them to fill a role in their Storyline. These Players act like NPCs since they're not playing the Story, but filling in a specific role β the rival, the villain, or any other major part of the narrative. In short, Contracted Players are thinking NPCs β real Players temporarily written into the Story! π§©β¨

π‘οΈ What are Story Guards?
Story Guards are Players stronger than the person hiring them, brought in to help with fights inside the Storyline βοΈ. They're usually a Rank above the Player or of the same Rank but much more powerful.
Think of them as bodyguards for Fragments β reliable and lethal. πͺ The Fragment automatically adjusts the difficulty depending on how strong the Story Guard is to keep things fair βοΈ, but anyone who can afford one usually hires them when entering dangerous, combat-heavy Fragments.

π¬ What are Story Events?
Every Fragment experiences countless happenings daily β thefts, duels, tragedies, miracles β but not every event becomes a Storyline. π Each Fragment is its own world, some as small as a room, others as vast as universes.
Not all can be recorded.
The Reciter decides which moments are worth preserving, activating the Story Event feature to capture and record a chosen journey. π Once recorded, the event β and NPC versions of everyone involved β become playable Storylines for future Players to experience!
If no Reciter exists in that Fragment, then the All Seeing Eye itself determines which events are recorded. ποΈπ«

π How does Real Death in the Story World look like?
Death comes in two main waysβ¦ π―οΈ
1οΈβ£ The Inherited Way β The Player made a will beforehand, passing their Story to someone else. Upon death, their body turns into Grey Shards, untouched by any being β not even Z Rankers. Only the Editors can handle them. I once asked [Editor X] where these shards go, and he said: "To the Edge of the Story." π«οΈ One of the Five Zones of the Story World.
2οΈβ£ The Forgotten Way β The Player left no will. In that case, the All Seeing Eye takes their Story and decides its fate. If it deems it worthy, it places it up for "take" (we won't go into those details here). But if notβ¦ no one knows what happens next. Even after countless questions to [Editor X], no clear answer was ever given. In both cases, the Player's body always becomes Grey Shards β cold, silent, and unreachable. π©Ά
