[Last Note of Black] — known to most simply as Renzo — remains one of the most mysterious figures to ever walk the Story World. He wears a sleek black mask that hides his entire face. Despite countless attempts by our Blue Trade Information Gatherers to capture his true visage, none have succeeded.
One brave (or foolish) photographer once tried to remove the mask mid-interview. They were found the next morning, gently set outside a café, unharmed… but their equipment completely sliced into ribbons. Renzo later compensated them with a bundle of Green Cores and an apology note signed simply, "Don't do that again."
🎭 Early Days — The Wanderer of Wonderlands:
Before fame, before legend, there was simply a man fighting to survive. The first recorded appearance of [Last Note of Black] █ dates back to the Wonderlands 🧁, where he frequently clashed with the armies of the [Wolf King] 🐺.
He became known as the "Black Wanderer of Wonderlands," a lone man who fought against the [Wolf King]'s corruption. Even after he ascended to Z Rank, their rivalry continued — fierce, unending, and without a single conclusive victory.
The Wonderlands' largest faction, the Fairy Crown 🍡, owes him a lifedebt after he defended many of their territories from the [Blood Witch] 🩸, a notorious Z Ranker and one of the Story World's most feared figures. The battles shook the skies of the Candy Kingdom and many others — rivers turned red, forests turned black — yet Renzo stood firm. The Blood Witch escaped, but the fairies never forgot.
💍 Love, Exile, and the Fifth Floor:
Renzo met Shizu, the wielder of the Original Story [White Severance] 🎀, during his travels in the Qingya Range 🏯 under the Yang Dynasty 🏮. She was a noblewoman exiled for reasons still classified, and he was a rising SSS Ranker known for fighting injustice. They married in a quiet ceremony atop one of Qingya's floating mountains ⛰️.
But their peace was brief. Renzo's interference with the internal affairs of the Dynasty earned him powerful enemies among its elders. Forced to flee, he and Shizu settled in many different places, before recently choosing the Fifth Floor of the Black District 🕳️, where they built a new life among the misfits and forgotten. Even there, the Dynasty's shadow lingers — and Renzo's kindness remains his greatest weapon.

The list of those who bear grudges against [Last Note of Black] reads like a who's who of the Story World's elite:
The Yang Dynasty 🏮, for defying their authority.
The Wolf Kingdom 🐺, for challenging the [Wolf King].
The Seven Wounds 💢, for dismantling their branch.
The Shadow Circle 🌫️, for exposing their assassins.
The [Blood Witch] 🩸, who still seeks revenge.
And many more.
He has been called a hypocrite by villains and a hero by the people, but whatever title one gives him, there is no denying his impact. Renzo acts without hesitation when the weak are oppressed — even if it means crossing those stronger than him.
🌸 The Family of Strays:
Though Renzo has no known blood siblings, he is known to consider three individuals as his family — the ones he traveled with when he was just a C Ranker wandering the Sea of Fragments:
Arden — Half-Wolf, bearer of [Eyes That Never Sleep] 👁️🗨️, now an X Ranker. Calm, loyal, and deadly.
Lorcas — Half-Dragon, bearer of [Golden Scales] 🐲, also an X Ranker. Brave and kind.
Mera — Half-Cat, bearer of [Bizarro Chef] 🍰, still a C Ranker, but beloved by many after participating in a gourmet tournament. She became famous when Z Rankers such as [Duke of Ice] 🧊 and [Smile That Cuts All Things] 😁 attended her event as a favor to Renzo.
The four of them are sometimes referred to by old-timers as "The Family That Wandered."
🕯️ Legacy & Mystery:
Despite his reputation as a hero, Renzo himself dismisses the title. He claims he only "goes where the noise is loudest," helping when he must. Still, his rise from a wandering C Ranker to a top-tier Z Ranker has inspired thousands of Players across the Story World.
His actions — selfless yet reckless — are the kind that reshape the narratives of entire Fragments. To this day, no one knows the name of his Original Fragment. Some whisper it was erased… others that it's hidden deep within the Sea of Fragments, sealed by his own hand.
