Chapter 363 - Who exactly beat Vision to a pulp?

"I never imagined White Vision would be persuaded by Vision like this," Peter Parker shrugged, quite surprised. "I never thought philosophy could have such an important use."

"That's good. White Vision has become Vision, abandoned the mission, and he shouldn't be manipulated by S.W.O.S. anymore. Has S.W.O.S. shot themselves in the foot?"

  Thor said with a laugh.

"But one thing is strange. Why did White Vision already have Vision's memories?" Scott Lang raised a question.

The footage clearly showed that White Vision originally possessed Vision's memories, but those memories were sealed, nothing more.

  So the question arises:

If the memories related to Vision were to be sealed, why did S.W.O.S. record Vision's memories when creating White Vision?

  What was the point?

  "An interesting question."

Tony Stark was also very interested in this. "Vision said that as a carbon-based synthetic being, erasing White Vision's memories isn't so easy. It's as if those memories weren't implanted by S.W.O.R.D., but were something

White Vision already possessed!" According to Vision, those memories didn't seem to be implanted by S.W.O.R.D., but were inherent to White Vision from the moment he was created!

It's just that erasing those memories is difficult, so they can only seal them away for now.

Why this is happening is a bit puzzling.

"Another point, why isn't Vision the original Vision?"

Strange raised another question. "Vision said he doesn't have any of his original parts. Did someone create a new body for him?"

"So, Vision's original body was destroyed? He was reduced to dust?"

"Vision has a vibranium body. Who could destroy his body?"

  This is also a question.

With Vision's strength, probably only someone as powerful as Thanos could be his match, right?

What exactly happened in the future?

"Vision was killed by Thanos during the Infinity War, so the assassination of Scarlet Witch by White Vision happened before the Infinity War?"

Peter Parker spoke again. "Doesn't that mean Vision must have encountered other powerful enemies before the Infinity War?"

This was not good news for everyone.

However, the information revealed in the footage was too limited, and no one could analyze many useful clues.

No one could figure out what exactly happened with White Vision.

Instead, one question after another kept popping up.

"I'm afraid only we can find out about all this by investigating S.W.O.S.A.," Captain America said to everyone in a deep voice.

"That's the only way." Scott Lang nodded, then added, "Also, there's that witch who fought Scarlet Witch. Who is she?"

That woman was obviously not a good person and possessed strength that was no less than Scarlet Witch's.

She was also a key focus of everyone's attention.

Unfortunately, everyone had even less information about Agatha Christie, and this was the first time Agatha Christie had appeared.

It was impossible for everyone to come up with anything useful from the discussion.

They could only wait until they got back, draw a portrait of Agatha, and then slowly investigate.

"If Natasha were here, I'd really miss her Sharingan," Captain America murmured.

No one present was particularly skilled at drawing portraits, not even Captain America himself; after all, he was a soldier, not a professional agent.

Even a professional agent like Nick Fury couldn't guarantee a perfect replica of Agatha's likeness.

Especially since memories fade over time, no one could guarantee how accurate the drawing would be.

This is where Black Widow's Sharingan became crucial—it provided a 100% accurate replica that wouldn't fade over time.

It was perfect for this situation.

It was just a pity Black Widow hadn't participated in the quiz for a while.

[Question: To seize Hank Pym's miniature laboratory, various factions chased and fought on the highway. Sonny Birch stole the laboratory. Who then retrieved the laboratory from Sonny Birch?] [

  A. Ghost Ava]

  [B. Scott Lang]

  [C. Hank Pym]

  [D. Nick Fury]

  [Friendly Reminder: Correct answers will be rewarded with the skill Water Stream Rock Smash;

incorrect answers will result in the random deduction of one attribute, including but not limited to knowledge, experience, skills, possessions, etc.]

After a brief discussion, the system notification suddenly rang out, interrupting everyone's attention.

They then turned their attention to the large screen.

A new question appeared, this time about Hank Pym's miniature laboratory.

"Wow, a highway chase? They're robbing it on the highway." Scott Lang couldn't help but shrug. "Hank's lab is really causing endless trouble."

They had answered questions about Hank Pym's lab many times before.

Based on the information gathered from previous questions, they knew that those who robbed Hank Pym's lab were Ghost Ava and Sonny Birch.

Ghost Ava wanted to cure her illness, Sonny Birch wanted to sell it for money, and Hank Pym and his companions wanted to rescue their wives.

This lab was once taken over by Ava the Ghost, but was then taken back by Scott Lang and his team.

However, as everyone knows from the previous round of questions, Sonny Birch and Ava the Ghost learned Scott Lang's exact location from Louise! They even notified the FBI!

It's obvious that the lab saga will reignite, and it's really hard to say who will ultimately take it.

Scott Lang is right; that lab is truly a source of endless trouble.

Looking at the four options, there's a ghost who can disappear at any time, two people with Ant-Man suits who can shrink and enlarge themselves,

  and a spymaster.

None of them were easy to deal with.

Add to that their target, Sonny Birch, who was also a powerful figure with connections and influence; just thinking about it made it seem incredibly exciting.

  "Let's look at the problem,"

Captain America said, and was the first to begin his analysis. "Ghost Ava, well, she's a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, and given her 'superpowers,' I think it's entirely possible she managed to steal the lab."

"I even think the Ghost is the most likely candidate!"

Thor added. "The Ghost can turn invisible, remember? Like when she eavesdropped on Louise's conversation, she was invisible for a while, then suddenly appeared and snatched the lab! How could Sonny Birch possibly react?"

"That makes sense!" Peter Parker nodded repeatedly. "Of the options, the Ghost is the most powerful, right?"

"Kid, the question describes a complex battle involving multiple forces. We can't just make a simple comparison of strength."

Tony Stark said to Peter Parker seriously. "However… we can't rule out option A; it's still pending."

"Great! It seems we're all in agreement on option A." Strange added.

The Ghost, Ava, no controversy, unanimously decided, pending.

"I'm also on hold, there's nothing to say about that, right?"

Scott Lang then turned his attention to option B and said to everyone, "When I was Ant-Man, I was pretty capable, right?"

"That's right, even if Ant-Man can't beat Ghost, dealing with Sonny Birch is still easy." Peter Parker nodded repeatedly.

"Peter, there's really no need to specifically point out that he can't beat Ghost." Scott Lang looked at Peter Parker with a hint of resentment.

"Scott is definitely on hold too, there's no doubt about it." Thor immediately nodded in agreement with Scott Lang's opinion.

The others present also did not raise any objections.

Option B, Scott Lang, like Ghost Ava, is also on hold.

  "Then what about Hank Pym?"

Thor then stared at the big screen and said, "In a way, Hank Pym is actually the same as Scott, both are Ant-Man. Since Scott was able to take back the lab from Sonny Birch, Hank Pym can naturally do the same."

Hank Pym can be seen as a replica of Scott Lang, although he is a bit older than Scott Lang, but he is still a generation of Ant-Man.

  He's a legitimate S.H.I.E.L.D. agent,

not some half-baked agent like Scott Lang.

Taking back the lab from Sonny Birch is perfectly reasonable.

  There's no doubt about that.

  No one raised any objections.

"Nick Fury is even more likely, isn't he?"

Peter Parker said, resting his chin on his hand and looking at the last option. "He's the head of the world's largest intelligence organization!"

It would be a joke if such a big shot couldn't get a lab, right?

It would even seem a bit unfair for such a big shot to deal with a smuggler like Sonny Birch.

  "Um…

Peter," Thor interrupted, remembering something, "Nick Fury wasn't always the director of S.H.I.E.L.D." Reminded by Thor

, Peter Parker suddenly remembered, "I almost forgot, the records say S.H.I.E.L.D. was later disbanded by Black Widow."

"Someone like Nick Fury, even if S.H.I.E.L.D. was disbanded, taking things back from Sonny Birch would be very easy for him," Captain America said decisively.

Even without S.H.I.E.L.D., would Nick Fury be left all alone?

Then all those years as director of S.H.I.E.L.D. would have been for nothing.

Even if S.H.I.E.L.D. were disbanded, Nick Fury would still be a big shot, able to mobilize a certain number of people to work for him with a single order. This old fox has his own private forces.

"That's right, whether S.H.I.E.L.D. disbands or not, Nick Fury still possesses this power," Tony Stark agreed.

"So this question... we don't even have a single one to eliminate?" Peter Parker glanced at everyone, a little annoyed, and said.

"It seems so," Thor shrugged. "The four options do indeed possess this ability." "

In terms of ability, they can't be eliminated. Let's look at factors beyond ability," Strange, who hadn't said much until now, said seriously.

He clearly had his own ideas and directly shared his analysis with everyone.

"I think Hank Pym can be ruled out. He certainly has the ability to steal the lab from Sonny Birch, but think about it, why would Scott be involved in the lab raid?"

"Think about the previous operations, what pattern did Hank Pym and his team follow?"

"Hank Pym provided intelligence support from the command vehicle, while his daughter and Scott were responsible for the actual operations!"

"I think this operation will be no exception."

  Strange's analysis was undeniably insightful.

Whether it was when Hope and Sonny Birch traded lab components, or when they raided the Ghost to reclaim the lab, it

  was always the same.

Hank Pym stayed behind, while Hope and Scott Lang were in charge of the operations.

With these two strong facts as a reference, Hank Pym certainly had sufficient reason to be ruled out.

Of course, no one could be certain that Hank Pym would still be behind in this operation, but for this particular question, this reference point was indeed a valid reason for exclusion.

"Fine! Hank Pym is ruled out, very good. Who else can be ruled out?" Thor asked everyone with great interest.

"I think… Nick Fury can perhaps be ruled out for now." After a moment of contemplation, Tony Stark also settled on a target.

"We have enough clues about Hank Pym's lab, but we haven't found a single trace of Nick Fury's involvement."

  "None!"

  "Not even the slightest hint!"

"So I'm thinking… is Nick Fury a trap in the question? That is, Nick Fury didn't participate in that 'laboratory battle' at all, and the question deliberately set up an unrelated option."

"We've encountered this situation before. The question asked which Avenger was immune to Scarlet Witch's magic, and we subconsciously assumed everyone in the options was an Avenger, but that wasn't the case."

"This question is the same; we can't assume everyone in the options participated in that battle, right?"
