Chapter 103 - The Answer is Actually Black Widow?

"Thor and Loki are brothers, no matter what. Shouldn't Thor be somewhat familiar with Loki's abilities?" Coulson speculated.

"Coulson, why are you so optimistic?" Tony Stark glanced at Thor and shook his head. "Do you think he knows how to do anything besides swing his hammer?"

Although they hadn't known Thor for very long, they didn't know him well.

But from their interactions, Thor's intelligence seemed a bit lacking. Tony Stark didn't have high hopes for him.

"Loki's magic is top-notch in the entire universe. If he opened the portal, I can't close it," Thor admitted, shaking his head.

Then, he said to Tony Stark in a serious tone, "Stark, there's nothing in the universe that can stop my hammer. I only know how to swing it, but that's enough!"

Everyone just listened to that sentence and didn't take it seriously.

"So, we can rule out Thor," Tony Stark nodded, then seemed to realize something. "I wonder if you've noticed a pattern. Thor appears in the questions quite a bit, but he's never been the answer!"

Oh, wow!

Everyone present was stunned by Tony Stark's words. But after thinking about it, it was true! Whenever Thor was an option in the quiz, they never chose him.

Not even once!

And yet, Thor appeared in the questions quite frequently!

"Everyone, do you see the pattern? So, from now on, if Thor is an option, just rule him out!" Tony Stark said to everyone with a serious expression.

Thor: "..."

He had an urge to smash Tony Stark with a hammer!

"Let's get back to the question," Captain America immediately said, bringing everyone back to the matter at hand. "Thor's out. Let's look at C and D, Romanoff and Vision?"

"Compared to someone like Vision, I'm just a regular human agent. I think Vision is more likely."

Black Widow thought for a moment and immediately told everyone.

In fact, not only Black Widow, but everyone present also leaned towards Vision between Black Widow and Vision.

After all, everyone had witnessed Vision's abilities; he could fly and fire terrifying energy beams from his forehead, and that was just the tip of the iceberg.

He was clearly a top-tier figure.

To be honest, except for Thor, they didn't even think anyone could be Vision's match.

Even Tony Stark's Iron Man Armor might not be able to withstand that kind of energy attack.

"Stark and Thor are out. Between Natasha and Vision, Vision seems more likely. So, is the answer D?"

Coulson summarized everyone's analysis.

"We have no idea how to close the portal. All we know is that Loki opened it using the Tesseract, and that's it!"

"We're also completely in the dark about the specifics of the Battle of New York. We don't know what each of the four options was facing."

"In other words, we can't make an effective analysis!"

"In this situation, it seems we can only rely on a simple comparison. So, if it were me, I'd also choose D."

Nick Fury also spoke to everyone with a serious expression.

Choosing D seemed to be the consensus.

"No, wait a minute!"

Tony Stark suddenly remembered something and interrupted everyone. "Jarvis! During the Battle of New York, my AI was still Jarvis!"

Tony Stark's reminder caused everyone present to suddenly realize something.

That's right, when Iron Man flew into the portal with the nuclear missile, the one communicating with him was indeed Jarvis.

However, Jarvis was later used by Tony Stark for Vision, which was interesting.

"What exactly Vision is, we're not sure yet, but he should be an advanced robot. I think we can all agree on that, right?"

Tony Stark glanced around at everyone and asked.

When Vision first appeared, everyone had some guesses about his appearance. He was probably an alien or a robot, definitely not human.

But later, when Tony Stark pointed out that Vision used the Jarvis system, Vision's identity naturally became much clearer.

He should be a robot.

After all, it didn't make much sense for aliens to use Tony Stark's artificial intelligence.

Compared to that, a robot made a lot more sense.

"We don't know how Vision was born, but his nervous system is very likely Jarvis! In fact, Vision might even be something I created!"

"Otherwise, I can't imagine why I would use Jarvis on Vision!"

Tony Stark continued to speak eloquently under the gaze of everyone.

"So Stark, are you saying that Vision hasn't been created yet?" Nick Fury accurately understood Tony Stark's meaning.

"Yes, that's exactly what I mean," Tony Stark nodded emphatically.

"Stark, is it a bit too hasty to jump to that conclusion just because Vision's voice sounds like… Jarvis?" Thor questioned.

"There aren't two identical leaves in the world, nor two identical snowflakes, and there certainly aren't two identical voices!" Tony Stark declared with conviction. "Plus, my future Jarvis transformed into Friday, and Vision used Jarvis… it's pretty much a done deal."

"But, is it possible Vision just used Jarvis's voice?"

"What do you think? What would be the point?" Tony Stark looked at Thor as if he were an idiot.

A robot simply adjusting its voice to sound like Stark's AI's voice? No one would do something so pointless, right? And if that were the case, there would be no need for Jarvis to become Friday.

So, there's a high probability that Vision utilized the entire Jarvis system.

"If that's the case, C and D are out... is it D? The last remaining option is Romanoff?" Coulson said, a bit surprised.

Out of the four options, three were enhanced individuals, while Black Widow was the only ordinary human.

After everyone's analysis, it turned out that the three enhanced individuals were eliminated, and the most likely candidate was the one who seemed the least likely at first.
