" what is that.. it looks like some type of giant pokemon!! pikachu lets catch it!"
A giant shadow blocked the path infront of them, it seemed like a giant pokemon had emerged and ash was ready to capture it
Carmen sighed, him being the one in the front saw that the figure was just a giant rock with a charmander on top of it, were they going senile?
As they closed in, the truth was revealed for them too and they anime fell.
" thats just a charmander!'
Misty sighed, and boked ash on the head
"chaaaaaaar"
it said lazily. carmen sweat dropped, this was the usual interactions between ash and misty, they were kind of like siblings bickering
Ash took out his pokedex and pointed it towards the charmander, while the dex ranted about the fire lizard, carmen's mind swayed
Ever since he had joined the trio on their journey... it had been nothing but joy for him. Ash was a wonderful person with ambitious goals, becoming the champion, growing stronger with your pokemon... it brought out a part of carmen he never knew he had.
Mr. harrison had been nothing but patient and kind with him, he gave carmen many new ways to take care of his pokemon, he always answered any question the redhead had and had sprouted as an older brother for him, thinking around it always left a warm bubbly sensation in his chest.
Misty was a little distant from him as she usually bickered with ash on small things, carmen had fun watching the sibling like banter between the two and would occasionally drop in a comment of his own too.
"ui ui....ui ui"
carmen's ear perked up, was that another pokemon? he turned around to see that ash was attempting and failing at catching the charmander..... why was he not suprised.
"ui ui"
He heard it again!! carmen decided to look into the mysterious voice
"hey guys, i had something i needed to do... meet you at the pokecentre?'
his voice broke through the bickering of the three as they turned towards him
"Oh what is it? i can help" Ash volunteered
" no need, its just some basic errand like collecting some herbs, you guys go ahead... il join soon"
The trio nodded, there focus being on the charmander who apparently had a trainerm it was unfortunate but there was nothing they could do to catch it if it already had one.
Carmen split from the group and entered the dense forest leaving the open route road, he swear he had heard the voice from this way.
"ui ui"
carmen yelped and turned around, the voice now came from the left? maybe it was moving around? non the less he followed the voice again.... and again..... and again
carmen sighed in frustration, was this pokemon playing with him? he could hear the clouds above starting to thunder so he had to hurry.
"ui ui"
Carmen dashed full speed and jumped on the shadowy figure but just missed it as it disappeared, reappearing behind him and hence he fell face first on the ground
"ui ui"
Carmen turned around to face the sneaky pokemon but was suprised at what he saw, An abra?
"hey little buddy, what ar-are you doing here?'
it was rare to see an abra and even rarer to find one in a forest. carmen had to be carefull, no sudden movements or else it will teleport away
"ui ui"
carmen's brows furrowed
"do you want me to follow you?"
The abra approved through gestures before slowly floating into the forest followed shortly by carmen.
It led them to a small cave, right after entering the clouds started poring down making the outside blurry as mist rolled in, what in the elden ring boss battle
Carmen meekly followed the abra, was there a strong pokemon here.... an Elekid? and it seemed to be very sick
carmen knelt down besides it and touched its forehead, it was burning up!! he took out a max heal and quickly made the sick Elekid drink it making it visibly calm down
Elekid opened its eyes to carmen making it panic and let out a thunderbolt shocking carmen, it got up and dashed towards the exit of the cave, abra tried to calm it down but it did not stop and exited the cave into the mist leaving a dumbfounded carmen and a concerned carmen
"wait there is a ravine near here, we crossed it through a bridge but with this mist... abra we have to find him!!"
Carmen and abra went through the forest in search of the elekid, carmen holding on to abra so that they wont get separated.
"elekid??!!!!!!!!!!!!"
This caught their attention as they dashed towards it, elekid was hanging from a tree on the side wall of the deep ravine. carmen called out to it in concern gaining its attention
Without hesitation, carmen took out a rope from his bag and tied it around a tree before jumping in the ravine itself landing sideways on the wall just above elekid
"Elekid grab my hand!!" he reached out stretching it as far out as possible, elekid saw this and tried to reach out
*Slip*
Carmen watched as the elekid slipped, falling to his doom..... he jumped, it was dumb but he had no other option. he grabbed the Elekid and wrapped his arms around it, atleast it would survive.
"ui ui"
Carmen's eyes widened as he saw abra appear, it grabbed onto the both of them and teleported to the top of the rave and to safety.

As the rays of the next day shone, the cave illuminated revealing abra, carmen and elekid, who was felling a lot better now and was very embarrassed at shocking carmen.
Carmen had already decided, he was going to catch both the pokemon here, he gathered the two and knelt down
" im gonna ask you two a question and i hope you two agree with it k?"
The two pokemon looked confused but nodded, carmen smiled
"will you two join me in my journey? im trying to become a great pokemon champion and an excellent trainer and i would like your help in it"
The two pokemon remained stunned for a few moments before breaking out of it, they both yipped happily and nodded gently tackling carmen in a hug.
Abra and Elekid acquired!!

carmen exited the forest with two new members in his team, he now had four pokemon, his vulpix, nidoran, abra and elekid.... it was nice
When he reached the wide area in the route, he was greeted with intense heat going just pass his face making him jump back, he saw probably the same charmander now standing beside ash jumping happing and launching flamethrower in every direction
"umm what is going on?"
He was then bonked on the head multiple times, got a speech on making people worried and had to explain everything that had happened yesterday leading to more bonking and even more scolding..... and even more bonking
It would have been better to fight Radan yesterday
