Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Looking for Trouble?

The dormitory was incredibly luxurious, no less than a hotel in terms of facilities.

Moreover, each student had their own private room.

Li Xun and Ning Rongrong were assigned to two adjacent rooms on the second floor.

"Brother Li Xun, can we stay together? I'm a little scared," Ning Rongrong looked up at Li Xun and gently tugged at his sleeve.

Li Xun glanced at Ning Rongrong and nodded slightly.

After nearly two years of his guidance, Ning Rongrong's personality had changed significantly.

Although she still had a bit of a willful streak and a longing for the outside world, she no longer had that spoiled and defiant nature.

While this change might help her avoid many hardships in the outside world, Li Xun wasn't sure whether suppressing her natural tendencies was for the better or worse.

Qin Ming coughed lightly nearby but didn't say anything.

What could two eight-year-olds possibly do?

"Xiao Xun, here's a detailed introduction and the rules of the Heavenly Dou Royal Academy. Take a look at it."

"I'll come find you once you're familiar with the academy," Qin Ming, feeling somewhat out of place, handed Li Xun a manual and then turned to leave.

Watching him go, Li Xun led Ning Rongrong into the room.

As they took in the interior, both of their eyes lit up.

A luxurious living room, exquisite furniture, a study, a dining area, a bedroom, and a bathroom—everything was there.

"This isn't coming to school; it's more like going on a vacation!"

Although the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School was wealthy, it couldn't compare to the Heavenly Dou Royal Academy in terms of luxury.

Not to mention Shrek Academy, which was more like a village school.

"Brother Li Xun, there's only one bedroom!" Ning Rongrong looked around the room.

"This is a single dormitory, so having these facilities is already quite good. How about I go to your room after you fall asleep?"

Li Xun gave Ning Rongrong a sidelong glance; he wasn't in the mood to babysit.

"No! I'm scared by myself," Ning Rongrong looked at Li Xun with teary eyes.

"Fine..."

Li Xun sighed inwardly; he was now walking the same path as Tang San.

Though Tang San had a rabbit to hold.

The Heavenly Dou Royal Academy had a clear hierarchy for both teachers and students.

Heavenly Minor Level, Heavenly Supreme Level, and Heavenly Dou Level.

Li Xun and Ning Rongrong, with their Soul Power below level 25, were classified as Heavenly Minor Level.

Students at this level focused mainly on consolidating their Soul Power, with theoretical knowledge as a secondary priority.

Li Xun believed that physical strength was more important than theory.

Therefore, after just a quick tour around the academy to familiarize himself with the facilities, he spent most of his time in the dormitory cultivating.

Ning Rongrong, on the other hand, was full of curiosity about school and attended classes punctually these past two days.

However, Li Xun felt that she was about to get bored.

Because,

Ning Rongrong was starting to dislike getting out of bed.

"Rongrong, get up, or you'll be late," Li Xun tugged at the blanket.

"I don't want to go today,"

Ning Rongrong rolled over, wrapping the blanket around herself.

"Giving up after just two days? Where's the perseverance of our Miss Rongrong?" Li Xun teased.

"..."

"Some people in class are so annoying, always bothering me. And there are a few girls who keep making snide remarks..."

"There are too many of them, and I can't argue back," Ning Rongrong mumbled from under the blanket.

"Looking for trouble? Rongrong, did you mention the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School?" Li Xun narrowed his eyes and asked softly.

"I did, but they didn't believe me and just laughed at me," Ning Rongrong poked her head out from the blanket, looking dispirited.

"Rongrong, change your clothes. I'll go to class with you today. If those people come looking for trouble again, big brother will stand up for you," Li Xun comforted, gently patting Ning Rongrong's head.

"Okay! Make sure you scold them harshly," Ning Rongrong's eyes lit up, a slight smile tugging at the corners of her mouth as she nodded firmly.

"I knew you were just pretending to be pitiful. Hurry up and get ready."

Li Xun calmly led Ning Rongrong toward the classroom.

They had only been at the academy for three or four days, and given Ning Rongrong's current temperament, it was unlikely she had made any enemies.

Li Xun suspected they were being targeted, and the other party likely knew their identities.

In the Heavenly Minor Level classroom of the Heavenly Dou Royal Academy, it was still before the morning class.

As Li Xun and Ning Rongrong entered, they saw the students divided into several groups, each engrossed in their own activities.

Though seemingly casual, the students had been keeping an eye on the door.

Some of them visibly relaxed when they saw that it wasn't a teacher but two children around seven or eight years old who had entered.

They were nobles, after all, and certain basic etiquette still had to be observed.

"Oh! The little girl is here for class again!"

"What little girl? She's the young lady of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School!"

"And she brought a friend this time. Do you two even understand what's being taught? Haha."

"Go home and drink milk!"

...

A few individuals stood out from the rest.

Even when they heard the commotion at the door, they paid no attention and continued with their activities.

Upon seeing that it was Li Xun and Ning Rongrong who had entered, they began to mock them openly.

Ning Rongrong tugged at Li Xun's sleeve from behind. "Brother Li Xun, these are the people who have been harassing me since I started attending classes."

Li Xun nodded.

From the moment they entered, these individuals had been subtly keeping their eyes on them.

Given that these students were clearly around sixteen or seventeen years old, claiming ignorance was nothing but self-deception.

Without a word, Li Xun walked straight toward them.

"Hey! Kid, what do you think you're doing?"

A boy with a mature face sneered as Li Xun approached.

"Luo Rongdou, can't you see? This must be the little girl's helper, here to beat you up," the chubby boy beside Luo Rongdou mocked.

"Haha, Ge Rong, stop joking."

"Haha."

The surrounding boys and girls joined in the laughter.

The other students in the classroom, hearing the commotion, turned their attention to the scene.

The Heavenly Dou Royal Academy was a middle-level institution, and the youngest students were at least twelve years old.

Compared to these students, Li Xun and Ning Rongrong were indeed much smaller.

Facing their sarcastic remarks, Li Xun remained calm, walking steadily up to the boy who had spoken first. "You know who we are, don't you?"

"What?"

Luo Rongdou was taken aback, not expecting Li Xun to ask such a question.

Slap—

Suddenly, a crisp sound echoed through the classroom.

"You dare hit me?"

Luo Rongdou clutched his left cheek, staring at Li Xun in disbelief.

Slap—

Li Xun jumped up and delivered another slap, this time to Luo Rongdou's right cheek.

"I asked you a question! Don't play dumb with me."

It had taken so much effort to get Ning Rongrong to willingly attend school without his constant urging.

And now, just two days in, these troublemakers were already making her lose interest.

Li Xun was furious.

The two swift and forceful slaps left the onlooking students wide-eyed in shock.

Ning Rongrong stood at the door, her mouth agape in surprise, her small hands tightly clenched.

Weren't we here to argue?

Ning Rongrong had never seen Li Xun take action before, and she was somewhat worried that he might come off worse.

"Do you know who I am?"

Luo Rongdou, his cheeks swollen and red, was unusually furious and threw a punch at Li Xun.

Facing the incoming fist.

Li Xun slightly sidestepped, then grabbed the arm that was reaching out and pulled it downward.

Luo Rongdou immediately lost his balance, his body tilting uncontrollably toward the ground.

Thud—

Li Xun punched him in the side of the face.
