To those who have had their system for years and understood everything, or even most of it for the entire time, something as simple as using a skill wasn't hard, but if you ask someone who has never understood what a single letter meant, it would be the difference between night and day. So while everyone else had been sleeping after our quest where I learned language, I was reading my system over.

I must have read the entire thing over and over again because before I knew it, around me the others were waking up.
We had stayed at the location of the quest because the vehicle was out of fuel, which made us the odd ones out, but we had been allowed to stay by Mr. Nulgen, and yet I had the tools, but I still needed to use them.
I think Jax tricked the others, he did something with Aiden and he seemed too vouch for him, but I know he didn't tell him the truth, because otherwise Aiden wouldn't be so buddy buddy with them, and worse. I think that Selene also lied and is working with Jax, which means I can go to either Aiden, Thalia, Liora, or Victor.
Of them Victor smelled far to strongly of blood for me to assume he wouldn't just start helping them, Thalia was logical, but lacked any efficient means of handling Selene, or Victor if they get aggressive in the confrontation, and Liora, while able to handle it better, would be unable to stop them if Jax of Selene get in melee range, which leaves Aiden as both the co-leader, and last of the 3 melee fighters, who may be able to help, especially since he, Liora, and Thalia made it back from the crab fight that was apparently a massive creature. So my plan was simple, Tell Aiden what really happened, and then If I can, recruit Liora and Thalia to hopefully stop Jax and Selene.
My problem was that everyone is grouped up for almost everything, and once we got to the city Jax and Selene would be able to kill even more children, so they needed to be stopped today.
The big question was how to do so without Jax noticing, Selene had taken off earlier with the mechanical horse to get more fuel she said, and I was currently hiding my new skill so Jax didn't try to stop me knowing I could fully talk now. So my current plan was a simple one, Aiden and the others did what they called morning training where sometimes they would spar, so keeping up appearances, I walked over to Liora who watched as Aiden and Jax sparred. Aiden's spear swinging in a blur of motion as Jax jumped, ducked, and dived around like a dragonfly as the two clashed, but seemed to be avoiding injury as their mouths moved as if talking, but they themselves did not. I tapped her leg and drew a question mark into the ground as I looked to Jax and Aiden as Liora glazed down.
"Oh, your asking what they are doing?"
I took a moment as if pretending to try to remember the words before nodding.
"Thats called sparring, it's not a full fight, but instead one where they fight to get better, not injure each other."
Liora explained crossing her arms as she turned back to the sparring. I nodded and sat, waiting for their spar to end. Which didn't take but so long, Jax got a direct hit that sent Aiden sprawling as Jax ran over to help him up. They began to walk towards us as Aiden rubbed his chest.
"You could have held back a bit on that last one dude, I think you cracked a rib."
Aiden wheezed out as he held his chest with one hand. Jax gave an apologetic shrug as they walked over. I waited before I pointed a paw at Aiden and said
"Spar?"
Adding too much lilt in my question to make it seem like I was still figuring that part of language out. Aiden blinked at me for a moment, maybe bewildered. However to my horror Jax stepped forward.
"Aiden's in bad shape, I can spar with you if you want, fullblood to fullblood."
I did my best to hide the shiver that passed down my back as I tried to think of something to get me out of this, but nothing came.
"Your too strong, Aiden is already injured so he will be better for me to go against."
I tried hoping he would take the hint. Jax however simply sat down and with a strange expression said.
"I know what you saw 2 days ago has you worried, and I want to explain myself as well while helping you."
He had come out and said it, as if he had done could be fixed with an apology. A part of me wanted to snap at him, but the more logical part instead said.
"That isn't something you can just explain away, so I would like Aiden as my sparring partner."
Jax seemed to have a hurt expression as he said.
"There are parts of that you don't fully know about, its why I want to explain so you can make your opinion when you know everything."
I still held back as I shook my head and said.
"No, I don't trust you. So will you let me spar with Aiden or will you try to stop me?"
Jax gave me a look for a moment, and I waited for him to try to argue further, but instead he nodded, and walked away with his tail tucked between his legs. I walked past Aiden as he followed while looking back at Jax occasionally, but I refused to look back. He killed 8 kids, he doesn't get to be sorry.
