The Capital of Norvaegard was far more alive than Alexander had imagined.
The moment they passed through the academy gates, the noise of the city rushed toward them like a wave.
Carriages rolled along the wide stone roads. Merchants called out from colorful stalls that lined the streets. The scent of roasted meat, fresh bread, and unfamiliar spices filled the air.
Because they had rushed to the academy earlier, Alexander had not noticed much of the city. Now the sounds of the Capital surrounded him from every direction.
New sights and unfamiliar scents surrounded him. Alexander slowed his steps almost immediately.
"This place really is huge."
Mina nodded in agreement as her eyes moved from one sight to another.
People filled the streets in numbers she had never seen before. Some wore the uniforms of knights, others carried the robes of mages, and a few even had the strange attire of traveling merchants from distant lands.
