For a moment, the training yard was completely silent. The examinees could not help but stare at Alexander and the armor that was cut.
Several of the examinees looked at the armor, then at Alexander, and then back at the armor again as if their eyes had deceived them. Yet the line across the metal was undeniable.
What was even more dumbfounding was that Alexander actually apologized after doing something none of them were able to do.
Yet despite that, no one there thought he was being arrogant. The face Alexander showed was one of frustration; there was not a single action he did that seemed smug about what he had done.
It truly felt like he was actually agonizing that he was unable to cut the armor in half.
His brows were slightly furrowed, and his eyes lingered on the armor longer than anyone else's.
To everyone present, the cut he left behind was incredible. Yet to Alexander, it seemed to fall short of what he believed he should have been capable of doing.
