The Great Curse
On the still night in the Moga's Kingdom was a feast. A family gathering celebration for the 7 year anniversary of the kingship of the thorn. The room was filled with absolute joy and amusement , buh the King knew what was really deep down their hearts.Some of them wanted him dead, some wishes he would marry them so that they would gain assets,others wanted the crown to themselves and a whole lot .But June was pure in heart ,she never really cared about any family property or tradition. Even though she was next to rule the kingdom she didn't care.So because of her pure in heart she was the kings favorite.But little ddi they know , that it caused envy among the family and it started some think of quarrel at the table.
May : Oman (King) what are your plans when you retire as king.
Dennis: He is not going to retire any time sooner, buh who do you think will take the crown since June does not want it.
De-graft: hmm , that's a very heavy question.
June: Do you guys mean . We are having a feast ,I think this is not the time to talk about these stuff.
May : Then where else?
June : I don't know,maybe not on this occasion. By the way I am getting married and giving the crown to my husband, that's my big plan of not sitting on the throne.
The four siblings are in shock.
May: June , why?
Lily :(with tears running down her chicks) ever seen Mom and Dad died we have been living in shambles, our decisions bring us problems.
Oman: Lily, grow up and stop been such a whiny.Did Mom and bad teach you how to control your feelings.
Lily: ( whiles using the table napkin to wipe her tears) no we all know how Mom and Dad worked hard to get this throne, and she is trying to give it away just like that.
June: He will serve until he is dead that's all.
May, Dennis, De-graft were burning with rage.
May:( shouting) this is why we don't love your children too much. Mom and Dad has spoiled June.
Oman : May won't you shut up. She is your elder sister you know, and more over you think I don't know, what you guys are about . Every single day I pretend to not see what you guys are doing. You think I can't sense what is deep down in your hearts. Just because of this throne you think evil about your own brother. That's just next level stupidity.
Oman gets hungry and pushes his food from the table allowing it to hit the floor.
June: Oman don't do that you are a king for Christ sake show some degree of kingship.
Dennis and De-graft slams the door and leaves the room.Lily still sheds tears whiles May enjoys her meal.Oman gets very furious and couldn't stand the kind of words coming from his own family. He has forgotten that has kind there is a connection between the King and some special spirits. As he got more furious the weather gets stormy as if was about to rain. Oman starts dropping stuffs from the table and aiming at cracking things.
June starts shouting at him to stop but Oman wouldn't listen . So she tried holding him by his hand. When she was about to reach him from a distance,she fell to the ground.
June!!!!! ,Lily and May shouted.There was when Oman noticed her and attended to her. June , June..... Can someone please call the herbalist (whiles sobbing), (tears running down his chins, his eyes became watery as he started make crying sounds).
May , Lily call some one.
May: Unless you give me that throne of yours.
Oman : You pathetic fool. Is that all you want.You chose the throne over your own blood .
Oman looks around and spots Lily .Well she seems unmoved but she really did care about June so she was getting help buh the problem was that she was still crying. That annoyed Oman so the carried June in his arms and run off to the herbalist.
Fews days passed and the Palace was in sorrow even May.The place was quiet and the whole kingdom was also quiet . June had a heart attack caused by a allergy. Her body regrets cinnamon. But it turned out she had eaten some the night of the feast. Such petty living throne on the hands selfish May , Dennis and De-graft. The fact that June had died was shocking to everyone, especially to Dennis and De-graft. The King was in grief, the only one who he looked up to has just gone. Such petty.The funeral was done the day after and I was aside nothing has happened.Time passed and the King became more furious.May did even care about June's death and she was always fighting about the throne with either Dennis or De-graft. As for Lily she became Oman's new June. She was looked by him and she also grew to have a good heart.
It was the King's birthday and the decided not to make any gathering.and on this very day that he had a dream , a dream about May planning to kill June ,and it turned out everything worked out good.
He went through his books and noticed the spirit of secrets was trying to show him something. After this encounter he became devastated. He was worried he couldn't sleep. His health leaped and he fell ill but did show any symptoms and he knew that he will not live any longer because he could feel it.So he called for another feast. But this thing Lily didn't show up, It was only the grown ups , May, Dennis and De-graft.
Oman: Eat your food, it's not poisoned.June died out of allergy. We all know she doesn't take cinnamon. But yet still her food managed to get cinnamon on it.This was no mistake, it's a murder .It's a mystery.
May : ( in a soft low tone) Should I get the priest to investigate the case.
Oman: Don't waste your time , I already know who did.
Dennis and De-graft: ( in shock) really how, who is it.
May: That person must pay.
Dennis and De-graft: Don't worry we will be head the person our selves.
Oman: (giggles) then why don't you do it right now .Am not a fool you know. It all makes sense when you put the pieces together.The day of the feast I quit remember telling June to bring her partner, but you guys refused you claimed it was only a family get together. Knowing very well that if her partner comes you will not be able the complete the plan, and even on that night Lily was supposed to sit on the left but you guys managed to let her sit on her left. Since you know there would be some kind of tension created during the dinner time after you talk about her and the throne. Lily would break down about out dead parents and she would catch everyone's attention and that would give you the time to sprinkle the cinnamon on her food . After that you felt disgusted about what was going on and walked out of the room in rage , to just wait for her to die, and since you guys are not in the room ,you won't be suspects.Well me little friend helped me.
May: How could you guys. Am really sorry June couldn't see how much I try loved her...
Dennis and De-graft : Are you guys even thinking at all she is going to give the throne to another family.
May: ( in tears)The throne, the throne, is that all you. think of , I don't even believe you are my family again. Mom was right you can never trust anybody.
Dennis and De-graft: At the end of the weekend you guys would be be headed .
The dinner was over and the King had a heavy head ,he was feeling dizzy . So he tried to relaxin his chair when he got to his room but he slept.
The King woke up when he thought he heard a sound in his room.There was when he noticed that his window was not closed. As he tried to go and close it. He noticed a shadow behind he window curtains, his heart immediately sank in horror. He stood there for a while and tried to figure out who it was. As he got closer to the shadow the more his heart sank in horror. He could even feel his own heart beat . As he got to a distance where he could reach the window a figure some the curtains pounced on him , covering his head with a black cloth. they both feel to the ground and started struggling as the figure was trying to hold the King's neck. With the King's strength we was able to get the black cloth off his head , and check out who the figure was.
It turned out to be De-graft .
Oman: Am not surprised.The moment I started feeling dizzy I knew you guys were up to something.But May insisted I get some rest even though I wanted to sleep on the guest some, that she would get some herbs for me to cure my dizziness.
De-graft: Who May? You got to be kidding me.
May walks out of the gate wearing a we licked smile, at the moment Dennis also gets out from under the bed .
Oman: May I should have known you where in this with them
May: Of course what did I say at the dinner today.Mom said you shouldn't trust anybody.I guess you where not listening.
Oman : Let me guess ,even if you take the crown from me ,which one of you is going to sit on the throne, you guys would probably be still fighting for the throne.
The three siblings look at each other in despire.
Dennis: What ever , we will work that out.
The siblings brought out their weapons to kill Oman but they all started fighting about who should kill them.
Oman:( Whiles lying on the ground) Pathetic.
Dennis: Enough am going to do it.
He takes his life and stabs Oman in the stomach, so at De-graft but at his heart area. As for May she aiming for the head. Whiles the carpet on the floor was soaked with blood and blood still oozing from the King he makes a curse.
Oman: (in pain) With the help of the curse spirit I curse you and all your generation to come and you will turn to something mythical, something you have never seen or heard before, for you have been able to shed blood for this throne, more over you and your generation will still be at war .And the only way to undo this cures is to....( Oman stops breathing).
The three siblings were staring at each other and started laughing at Oman,there was when the started transforming into something. They were scared so they were in pain and wanted to hide their faces. So they run into the woods .
That was the last time Lily ever saw them again. Lily later found Oman's body and buried him.She later became the queen of the Kingdom and ruled as a good leader. She was confused as May and Dennis and De-graft justed disappeared and how Oman's sudden death .She had a lot of unquestionable questions, asking herself.a good leader.
