Sasame appeared at the snack shop again. He planned to take some snacks home for the two women there. As for his daughter, Chizuka, she was too young to eat them for now. Sasame packaged two boxes of snacks and used the Flying Raijin Jutsu to appear at his front door.

He opened the door, took off his shoes, and walked into the living room. Tsunade was sitting on the sofa, engrossed in watching television. Chizuka was asleep in the rocking bassinet nearby. Catching the scent of food, Tsunade turned her head, looked over, and said, "I want a skewer of triple-colored dumplings."

Sasame opened the plastic box and handed it to her.

"What made you think of buying these today?" Tsunade bit off one of the dumplings, chewed it a few times, and asked.

"I went to the Academy," Sasame replied casually.

"Oh, did you go see your little sister again?" Tsunade smiled and asked, "How is she doing?"

"She's a genius." Sasame picked up a skewer, skewered a piece of takoyaki, and threw it into his mouth. Although he had eaten earlier, his current physique, similar to Hinata Hyuga's, demanded a very large appetite. However, he didn't experience excessive hunger because his chakra reserves were huge. Hinata Hyuga, on the other hand, was different. She didn't have the Sage Body, and given her talent level, she simply had to consume an enormous amount of food.

"That's the Hyuga Clan for you," Tsunade said with a touch of nostalgia. "They have so many geniuses, just like the Uchiha Clan."

"The Uchiha Clan still has the edge, though," Sasame countered, shaking his head.

The process of advancing the Byakugan to the Tenseigan was too difficult, or rather, the gap was too vast. If it could be upgraded step-by-step like the Sharingan, it would be much easier. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no such path for now.

"That's true." Tsunade thought of Sasuke Uchiha. At twelve years old, he already had the skill level of a Jonin. "Speaking of which, your three students are still Genin," Tsunade suggested. "I think we should host a joint Chunin Exam."

The primary purpose of a joint Chunin Exam was to showcase the skill of the younger generation to the other great nations, thereby securing more missions. Simply put, it was a display of military strength. And the Hidden Leaf Village was currently in the perfect position for it. Sasuke Uchiha and the other Genin were remarkably strong, and the joint Chunin Exam hadn't been held for quite a while. Combined with Sasame's current achievements, hosting one seemed to offer nothing but benefits.

Sasame was momentarily surprised that Tsunade would bring up the Chunin Exams. But on second thought, it was quite logical. The joint Chunin Exam from the original story would likely not happen again because Hiruzen Sarutobi had retired and Orochimaru was preoccupied with his experiments. There would be no incident. In that case, hosting one at any time seemed fine. They could even invite the Hidden Sand and Hidden Mist Villages to join the fun. As for the Hidden Stone and Hidden Cloud Villages, they likely wouldn't participate. He wondered what the Hidden Rain Village would choose to do.

Sasame rubbed his chin. They might decide to move up their plans because of this Chunin Exam. Even if they didn't, Sasame, as a member of the organization, could always suggest it.

"I'll consider it." Sasame popped a takoyaki ball into his mouth, leaned toward Tsunade, and fed her one. "A reward for you," he said.

Tsunade glared at him but didn't let the food go to waste.

A little while later, Shizune returned. Sasame casually handed her a skewer of triple-colored dumplings. "You worked hard," he said.

Shizune smiled, the corners of her lips turning up. "It's nice to know you have some conscience." Lately, due to Sasame's orders, she had been modifying the Ninja Academy while also supervising her three students. She was much busier than before.

"I've always been conscientious." Sasame pleaded his case. Even if he were heartless, he wouldn't have mistreated Shizune.

Shizune glanced at him but didn't say anything. With Tsunade present, she rarely flirted with Sasame—it was simply too awkward.

"I'll go cook dinner," Shizune said, finishing her dumplings quickly. "We can't just eat snacks."

"Make a small amount," Tsunade called out. "Otherwise, we might not be able to finish it." The snacks Sasame had bought were quite filling.

Shizune nodded and went into the kitchen. Half an hour later, dinner was served. After eating and taking a bath, Sasame went to Shizune's room. After helping her thoroughly relieve the stress from the day, he left.

Sasame quietly slipped into bed, and Tsunade immediately wrapped her arms around him.

"Did I wake you?"

"I wasn't asleep," Tsunade said, her face flushed and her eyes hazy. "I was waiting for you."

Sasame immediately understood.

Two hours later, he reached out, pushed the golden strands of hair off Tsunade's forehead, and whispered, "Good night."

A new day began.

"Morning, big sis Kurenai." Sasame opened the door and saw Kurenai Yuhi sitting at the coffee table making tea. Her technique was more professional and complex than before. He was slightly surprised, having not expected her to take the time to formally learn it. She truly was a capable Hokage's secretary. He just wondered when she would expand her services again.

"Sasame." Kurenai stood up, holding the tea. "You try it."

Under her expectant gaze, Sasame took a sip. How to describe it? The taste was about the same. But Kurenai's efforts couldn't be wasted.

Sasame smiled and said, "Big sis Kurenai's tea-making skills are truly excellent."

Kurenai let out a sigh of relief and asked, "What about the flavor?"

"The flavor goes without saying," Sasame said, his tone sincere. "Perfect color, aroma, and taste. Flawless."

"You make it sound so exaggerated," Kurenai said, subconsciously tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Although she knew Sasame was flattering her, she couldn't help but smile.

"The Hokage never lies," Sasame quipped, talking nonsense with a straight face.

Kurenai immediately glared at him, but her look was full of charm and alluring softness. Sasame felt a stirring desire. He glanced around and said, "I think I found a small issue with one of the financial reports yesterday."

Kurenai was surprised and quickly leaned closer. "Let me see. Maybe someone downstairs made a mistake with the data."

Sasame casually pulled out a random document. Kurenai instinctively looked at it, but then quickly froze. It wasn't a financial report. She was about to speak, but her mouth was suddenly covered.

"Mmm mmm mmm." Kurenai instinctively wrapped her arms around Sasame.

A long moment later, they separated. Kurenai's face was flushed red, like her name suggested, and she gasped for fresh air.

Sasame rubbed the silk stockings on her leg and chuckled. "I was mistaken earlier. There was no problem with the financial report."

Kurenai huffed, playfully hitting the back of his hand. "Don't joke about work matters!"

"Are you saying I shouldn't bother making an excuse in the future?" Sasame swiftly seized on the key point.

"…" Kurenai got tongue-tied. After a few seconds, she said angrily, "I did not mean that!"

"All right then," Sasame sighed.

Kurenai pouted, seeing his reaction. He was the one who got what he wanted, so why did he look like he was the one who lost something? She grabbed the hand of Sasame, who was still fooling around, and complained, "What you say and what you do are completely different things."

"Cough, cough." Sasame took her hand in his. "That's because big sis Kurenai is too beautiful."

"You always know what to say!" Kurenai pulled her hand away. "I'm going to work, Lord Hokage!"

"You work hard," Sasame said with a smile, giving her cheek another quick peck.

Kurenai realized what he had done and gave him a look of helpless coyness for a few seconds. She let out a breath, checked her appearance by the door, and then left the Hokage's office.

Sasame leaned back in his chair. He casually waved his hand. Black Cat appeared and instinctively curled up in his arms. An hour later, Sasame stretched. He picked up the exhausted Black Cat, put her in the back room so she could rest in peace, and then took a shower to wash away the various scents.

A little while later, a knock sounded. It was Hinata Hyuga. After closing the door, she called out, "Big Brother Sasame."

"Hinata, is that you?" Sasame stood up, went to the sofa, patted the cushion, and said, "Sit down. Let's talk."

Hinata gave a shy smile and sat down right next to him. She caught a faint scent. Did he just shower? Hinata felt a little dizzy.

"What is it?" Sasame looked at her and, seeing her adorable expression, reached out and pinched her cheek. The warm touch brought Hinata back to her senses.

She managed to say calmly, "We had a few Branch House members test it yesterday, and the modified Caged Bird Seal showed no issues." It would be strange if there were issues, after all, the modifications were made by Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, the true Ancestor of Shinobi. "Father and I plan to have all the Branch House members receive the modification in the next few days," Hinata continued, gaining confidence. "Then the Elder will be completely isolated, and no one will support him at the next clan meeting."

The Branch House members supported Elder Hiroyuki out of a sense of grievance and imbalance, not loyalty to him. Now that Hinata was offering them freedom, they would naturally switch sides.

"Good," Sasame nodded. He added a reminder, "Be aware that some Branch House members might harbor different ideas once the Caged Bird Seal is gone."

"Father mentioned that, too." Hinata looked up, her tone confident. "But with Big Brother Sasame here, everything will be fine." She was the Hokage's student, Hanabi Hyuga was the Hokage's sister, and Hizashi Hyuga was a Hokage Advisor. If the Branch House members weren't fools, they wouldn't rebel.

"Even so, you still need to be careful," Sasame said, stroking her head. "Be on guard for anyone who might stab you in the back."

Hinata looked away, unable to meet his gentle gaze. But she didn't lower her head, wanting to enjoy his head-pats.

"If the Elder is still stubborn at the clan meeting, we'll have to arrest him."

"How do you plan to deal with him?" Sasame raised an eyebrow. "Imprison him for life?"

"Father suggested that," Hinata replied. "But if Big Brother Sasame has another way, that's fine too."

"Alright then." Sasame remembered telling Kabuto Yakushi that he needed a pair of Byakugan. "Send him to the Anbu when the time comes."

"Understood." Hinata agreed without hesitation. Even if Sasame wanted to execute Elder Hiroyuki, she wouldn't object. The others, including Hiashi Hyuga, would also have no objections.

"You're a good girl." Sasame stroked her soft hair. "When is the clan meeting?"

"This Sunday." Hinata's eyes brightened. "Will Big Brother Sasame come?"

"Of course." Sasame smiled. "I'd love to see Hinata in all her glory."

Hinata's face instantly flushed. She whispered, "I… I won't disappoint you."

"I look forward to your performance," Sasame said, withdrawing his hand. "After this is over, you can take the Chunin Exam and then go on missions when you have time."

Hinata nodded emphatically, a look of excitement on her face. She had been training at home for a while. Though she had no complaints, she genuinely missed the days of going out on missions with Sasame.

Their conversation concluded, and Hinata stood up to leave. She was worried that delaying Sasame too long would interfere with his work. Sasame didn't stop her. Mainly because there wasn't much for her to do in the Hokage's office, and she couldn't behave like Black Cat. After all, she was still young. She had to wait another six or seven years—just like Ino Yamanaka. But Sasame was young, too, so he didn't mind waiting.

He picked up a file from his desk and raised an eyebrow. It was about Jiraiya. After finishing his teaching, he hadn't left the Hidden Leaf Village but had become a stalker, secretly observing Naruto Uzumaki every day. He was very dedicated. Sasame could understand his thinking. Jiraiya wanted to confirm if Naruto Uzumaki was truly the Child of Prophecy. However, with the Great Toad Sage dead, even if he confirmed it, he couldn't do anything about it. He was probably unsure of what to do next and was simply taking things one step at a time.

Sasame put down the file. He wasn't concerned about Jiraiya's situation. He remembered Tsunade's suggestion about the joint Chunin Exam last night. Perhaps it was time to move forward with it.

In the Hidden Mist Village, Sasame appeared behind Terumi Mei in the Mizukage's office. She knew he was there because of the spatial fluctuation but didn't react. The next second, she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her, freely roaming the landscape of her chest.

Terumi Mei's face instantly flushed, and she exclaimed, "What are you doing?!" She was worried about being seen by others.

"A day apart feels like three years," Sasame said, kissing her cheek. "Lady Mizukage, did you miss me?"

"No." Terumi Mei naturally wouldn't admit it. She held Sasame's hands and said, "Let go!"

"A command from the Lady Mizukage must be obeyed immediately." Sasame laughed and let go. He was here for a specific reason, so he decided to leave Terumi Mei alone for the time being.

Terumi Mei was surprised and looked at him strangely. This wasn't like him.

"The Hidden Leaf Village is planning to hold a joint Chunin Exam. Are you interested?" Sasame asked, sitting down on the Mizukage's desk right in front of her. Terumi Mei was helpless but let him do it. She began to consider the feasibility of the Chunin Exam. To be honest, the younger generation of the Hidden Mist Village was rather average. The only decent ones were Chōjūrō and Suigetsu Hōzuki, especially the latter. Due to Sasame's influence, Orochimaru and Sasuke Uchiha hadn't defected, so Suigetsu Hōzuki hadn't met the unfortunate fate he did in the original story.

Terumi Mei was hesitant. A joint Chunin Exam was an important showcase. If it went well, it would be beneficial for the Hidden Mist Village and would bring in many more missions. But she was worried about things going wrong.
