"Sasame."

Kurenai Yuhi asked, holding a stack of folded clothes, "Should I put these in the room?"

Sasame reached out and touched them. They were completely dry and faintly scented with flowers. He could imagine how diligently Kurenai had worked.

"Thank you, big sis Kurenai," Sasame said with a smile. "Just put them inside."

Kurenai looked at his handsome smile and couldn't help but smile back. She suddenly felt a sense of unexpected happiness. She turned and went into the back room. Since there was no closet, she placed the neatly folded clothes on the bedside. Seeing that the blanket was a bit wrinkled, she smoothed it out and refolded it.

Kurenai stood up and looked at the tidy bed. She paused for a moment. Her original plan had been to marry someone she loved, have a child, and live a happy life. Just like she had done just now—organizing his bed and clothes. But her plans had been thrown into chaos by Sasame's arrival.

Kurenai had a feeling that it would be difficult for her to live the life of an ordinary woman anymore. But she would live a more respectable one. She wasn't sure which life would be better, but she truly found it hard to leave everything she had now. Giving up her position as Hokage's secretary to become a ninja again, running around for missions, only to either die or retire honorably... she actually didn't like that kind of life.

Kurenai left the room and closed the door. She looked at Sasame and asked, "Can I get you some coffee?"

"No need for coffee in the middle of the day," Sasame said, looking up at her. "How about some hot tea instead?"

Kurenai's steps were light as she moved toward the coffee table. She leaned forward, and the amazing curves beneath her pencil skirt became even more pronounced. Her long, black-stocking-clad legs were fully exposed beneath her skirt, coming into full view for Sasame to admire.

That's very nice, Sasame thought to himself.

Kurenai finished making the tea. When she turned, she frowned slightly. She had caught Sasame's appreciative gaze. Thinking about her own posture a moment ago, she couldn't help but glare at him.

"Is it good to look at?" Kurenai placed the teacup in front of him. The smooth, jade-like expanse of her chest sank under the force of gravity, almost escaping the confines of her clothes. Sasame was certain she was doing this on purpose because she lingered for a few extra seconds.

"Of course, big sis Kurenai, you are beautiful and wonderful," Sasame said sincerely.

"What a smooth talker," Kurenai said, looking away with a soft huff.

"Would you like to try it?" Sasame raised an eyebrow and took hold of the teacup.

Try what? At first, Kurenai didn't understand. It wasn't until Sasame licked his lips that she realized his implication. Kurenai's lips pursed and her face immediately flushed. A certain glint appeared in her eyes, but she was still full of hesitation. She did enjoy that feeling, but her feminine sense of propriety prevented her from taking the lead.

Seeing this, Sasame smiled. The fact that Kurenai wasn't angry at his words and was actually considering his suggestion was telling.

He took a sip of the tea and said, "The tea you made, big sis Kurenai, is quite good."

Kurenai immediately felt a bit embarrassed. She had just made it casually, without any special technique. Perhaps she should find some time to learn how to do it properly.

"I'm glad you like it," Kurenai said, steadying herself.

"I like it very much," Sasame said, looking intently at her.

Kurenai froze for a moment, realizing what he was talking about. Her heart began to race.

"If you don't need anything else, I'll go back to work." Kurenai felt his intense gaze on her, making the temperature around her rise. A fine sheen of sweat appeared on her forehead. She left the Hokage's office, and only after closing the door behind her did she feel much cooler.

Sasame withdrew his gaze. He took another sip of tea and felt a bit warm himself.

"Black Cat."

Sasame spoke. A black silhouette instantly appeared at his feet. A rich, delicate fragrance wafted toward him. Sasame sniffed, a sense of déjà vu washing over him. He suddenly remembered where he had smelled it before: Mikoto Uchiha. Sasame couldn't help but chuckle. Did this cat steal the master's perfume? It was also possible that Mikoto had given it to her. Now that she was pregnant and in the Land of Fire's capital city, she naturally wouldn't have any use for perfume. It was logical that the cat, who was staying at her house, would have some of it.

Sasame reached out and gently rubbed her head. Her fur was very soft and smooth.

"Meow," Black Cat purred, her soft and tender sound reaching Sasame's ears. He narrowed his eyes and increased the pressure of his hand slightly. The cat curled up on his lap, her mouth slightly ajar, seemingly enjoying his massage. Sasame was happy petting the cat, too. Her body was plump and fleshy, and quite soft and comfortable.

A moment later, Sasame stopped. He had to; the Hokage was too busy.

Black Cat, meanwhile, secretly rolled her eyes. She knew exactly how "busy" this Hokage was every day.

"Big sis Kurenai is really good at her job," Sasame sighed in admiration as he looked through the documents. In just one day, the Ninja Academy had already started its restructuring. In less than half a month, it would be ready to begin classes according to Sasame's plan.

However, a lack of teachers was a major problem. After the academy's expansion, there simply weren't enough teachers. The good news was that mid-level ninjas were all that was required. The Hidden Leaf Village didn't have many high-level ninjas, but it had a lot of mid- and low-level ones. In the original series, they had over ten thousand. Sasame planned to have Kurenai select a few dozen who were skilled in theory, give them some training, and then they could start teaching.

"Black Cat, drink slowly, don't choke," he said, looking down to see the cat gulping down water. The moment he said it, she started coughing. Seeing this, Sasame gently stroked her soft cheek. The cat's body trembled slightly, and she looked up at him. Then she ran into his arms.

The sudden weight caught Sasame off guard. He sighed and said, "Don't block my view." Black Cat lowered her body in response.

Sasame continued to go through the files. He finished all of them by noon.

"My legs are a bit numb from sitting for so long," Sasame said, standing up and shaking them. But the Black Cat in his arms was startled and let out a very loud "meow." She rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed by his sudden movement.

"Don't be mad, I'll take you to get a bath," Sasame said, picking up Black Cat and walking into the room. After changing into the clothes Kurenai had just brought him, he immediately felt much more comfortable. The floral scent she used seemed to have a calming effect. Sasame once again marveled at how competent and capable his Hokage's secretary was. She excelled at every aspect of her job, from work to personal life.

Usually, he would eat lunch at the Hokage building or go home, but not today. Sasame left Black Cat to rest in the blankets and then went to the Mizukage's office.

Terumi Mei was resting her chin in her hand, her eyes locked on a file on her desk, her brows furrowed in what seemed like great difficulty. Sensing someone approaching, she looked up and saw Sasame. She was slightly startled. Sasame rarely visited at lunchtime.

"What are you looking at?" Sasame walked over and picked up the file from the desk.

Terumi Mei froze for a second, instinctively trying to grab it back, but she was too slow. She said with a disgruntled tone, "That's a Hidden Mist Village secret. You're an outsider; you can't look at it."

"An outsider? What are you talking about?" Sasame raised an eyebrow and said, "You should be calling me Master."

Terumi Mei was speechless. She let out a small huff and said, reluctantly, "Master." She said it so fast that Sasame barely registered it. He walked over, pinched her chin, and gave it a slight squeeze. A hint of panic flashed in Terumi Mei's eyes. She was worried he would suddenly lean in, yet she also felt a strange sense of anticipation. But nothing happened.

Sasame released her and said, "There's nothing wrong with your mouth, is there?"

Terumi Mei recovered and glared at him. "Give me back my file!"

"Here you go." Sasame had already finished reading it, so he promptly put it back in her hands.

Terumi Mei pursed her lips, unsure of what to say. With her lips slightly parted, she asked, "Did you come here for something?"

"Not for anything in particular," Sasame said casually. "I just wanted to try your Hidden Mist Village's lunch today." It was an answer Terumi Mei hadn't expected. She looked at Sasame. Seeing his serious expression, she said, "Then I'll treat you."

"No need to go to all that trouble," Sasame said, waving his hand. "I'll eat whatever you usually eat."

Terumi Mei was taken aback, but she didn't say anything else. She got up, went to the door, and called out, "Haku, bring two lunch boxes over."

Not long after, Haku appeared in front of her and handed her two bento boxes. He instinctively glanced inside the Mizukage's office. When he saw Sasame, he understood. Without saying a word, he disappeared again.

"I hope you find it to your liking." Terumi Mei closed the door and handed one of the bento boxes to Sasame.

"It looks good," Sasame said, opening his bento box. "The presentation is nice." As it was prepared for the Mizukage, it naturally wasn't a haphazard meal. Although it wasn't extravagant, it was quite complete: rice, fried egg, pickled vegetables, and okonomiyaki.

Terumi Mei glanced at him. After a moment of hesitation, she didn't sit in her usual Mizukage chair to eat. Instead, she moved to the sofa.

"Would you like some water?" she asked, opening her bento box and placing it on the coffee table.

"I'll get it myself." Sasame looked around and picked up the water cup from the Mizukage's desk.

"That's mine," Terumi Mei said upon seeing him. "There are other clean cups."

"This one is perfectly clean," Sasame said, taking a sip and smacking his lips. "It's even a little sweet."

"…" Terumi Mei's face flushed slightly. She picked up her chopsticks and began to eat, ignoring him.

Sasame smiled, filled the cup with water, and went back to the sofa, sitting beside her.

"Let's share," he said, placing the cup in front of her.

Terumi Mei's chopsticks paused, then she continued eating. Neither of them said much. The atmosphere became quiet. Halfway through her meal, Terumi Mei instinctively picked up the water cup and took a sip. She froze, her face flushing even more. Out of habit, she had forgotten that Sasame had used this cup today, but it didn't seem to matter.

After this realization, Terumi Mei moved the cup and placed it near Sasame's hand. Seeing this, Sasame picked it up and took a sip.

After they finished lunch, Terumi Mei took the bento boxes to the door and handed them to Haku. When she turned back, she saw Sasame leaning against the sofa, his eyes closed, resting.

"Come here," Sasame said, extending his hand.

Terumi Mei's heart sped up. She hesitated for a moment, then took his hand. With a pull, Sasame brought her into his arms. Terumi Mei's body went stiff. When she tried to struggle, she let out a sigh and gave up, collapsing into his embrace. Her two long legs were slightly parted, propping up her body to keep her from losing her footing. The warm contact made Terumi Mei's cheeks burn. She had been in his arms before, but this time felt different. The atmosphere seemed even more intimate.

Sasame's hands wrapped around her waist. A delicate fragrance surrounded him. Her scent was different from Black Cat's; it was much fainter. Perhaps it was because she was still a young woman. Sasame looked at her reddish-brown hair in front of him and smiled. Terumi Mei was still wearing the hairstyle he had given her before. It looked so much better than in the original series.

Sasame was uncharacteristically well-behaved for a moment, not making a move. Terumi Mei waited with a racing heart and a flushed face, but she was a little surprised. After a moment's hesitation, she suddenly turned to face him. Sasame was a little surprised, but looking at her red, cherry-like lips, there was no reason to be polite.

Terumi Mei's body went rigid, and her pupils contracted. She instinctively wrapped her arms around Sasame's neck to keep herself from slipping away due to a lack of strength. A long while later, Terumi Mei rested her cheek on his shoulder, breathing softly. Although she was strong, being deprived of oxygen for several minutes still made her feel a little weak. But Sasame felt even more weak. If they were out camping, he could have set up the tent right away.

Suddenly, Terumi Mei's face turned crimson, and her eyes were filled with panic and hesitation. After a moment, she gritted her teeth and said, "Let's go to my place."

Sasame was slightly taken aback but then suddenly understood what she meant. He immediately used the Flying Raijin Jutsu. The two of them appeared inside her room.

Terumi Mei felt like a lamb being thrown to the wolf. In a short hour, she was beaten into submission, begging for mercy. Her face was flushed, and her soft, breathless sounds made her seem as if she were drunk. But the one who was truly drunk was Sasame. This jar of Daughter's Red wine was truly exceptional.

Night fell. Sasame looked at Terumi Mei, who was fast asleep on the bed. Her reddish-brown hair was a messy sprawl, and clothes were scattered all over the floor—both inner and outer garments. Sasame leaned down and kissed her forehead. Terumi Mei didn't react. She probably wouldn't wake up for a while, as she was completely exhausted.

Sasame left the room and went to the kitchen. After cooking a meal and taking a shower, he finally went home. When he arrived, he received a notification from the Destiny Holy Ring.

[Because of your actions, Terumi Mei's fate has changed. You have gained 100 points of Destiny Value.]

Excellent. This was a very profitable venture. Sasame opened his door. He had returned just in time for dinner.

Late into the night, Terumi Mei woke up. Her entire body ached. The person next to her was gone, and a hint of disappointment appeared on her face. She turned on the light and found a note Sasame had left behind.

"The food is already made. Go eat it when you wake up, then take a good bath and get some rest."

Terumi Mei pouted. At least he has some conscience. But not much. It was unforgivable that he had the heart to leave her alone on a night like this. Terumi Mei gritted her teeth, vowing to teach him a lesson next time.

After resting for a bit, she fumbled her way out of bed. She almost lost her footing. Her body trembled slightly, and her brows were tightly furrowed. She felt even more furious with Sasame.

Terumi Mei went into the kitchen and saw the dinner he had left. It tasted quite good. As she ate, she thought about her actions from earlier, and her face gradually turned red. In the light, she looked like a blossoming red rose.
