The room Ena Uzumaki prepared for Mikoto Uchiha had excellent soundproofing. The two of them made all sorts of noises without attracting anyone's attention. Unfortunately, it only lasted for two hours before Koyuki Kazahana found them. So, Sasame invited her to join in, to test the room's soundproofing together.

Neither Ena Uzumaki nor Mikoto Uchiha had any objections to her joining. After all, their personalities and mindsets were more traditional. If it had been Tsunade or Mei Terumi, they probably wouldn't have agreed.

At 4 p.m., Sasame left the palace. Ena Uzumaki, Mikoto Uchiha, and Koyuki Kazahana stayed behind to continue testing the room's comfort level.

The Hokage's Office had already been renovated. The space hadn't changed much. The only difference was that a small private room had been built behind the Hokage's desk. Inside, there was only a bed and a bathroom. Though small, it was enough. Sasame immediately took a shower, washing off the mixture of three scents.

As he was drying his hair, Kurenai Yuhi opened the door and walked in.

"When did you get here?" she was startled and said, "I thought you wouldn't be coming to the office today." Kurenai Yuhi had come to check a few times before. And since it was already past four, she hadn't bothered to knock. She hadn't expected Sasame to be inside. Luckily, she hadn't walked in on anything.

"Just got here," Sasame leaned back on the sofa, shook the dry towel in his hand, and asked, "Sister Kurenai, would you mind helping me out?" Kurenai Yuhi understood what he meant and pursed her red lips. Did this guy really think of her as a maid to be ordered around?

She walked behind him, picked up the dry towel, and began to dry his hair.

"Thank you," Sasame relaxed, feeling a sense of satisfaction. This is what a Hokage's life should be like. The previous Hokages were diligent, but their usefulness was limited. You had to have the right methods. Of course, being powerful enough was a necessary prerequisite.

"All done." Kurenai Yuhi rubbed his hair; it was quite dry. She hesitated, then took the towel and walked into the bathroom. Upon seeing the clothes he had changed out of, her face flushed. She put down the towel and quickly left the room.

Kurenai Yuhi glanced at Sasame, who was looking through documents, and then, as if by a sudden impulse, asked, "Do you want me to take the clothes you changed out of to wash?" The room didn't have a washing machine, so she couldn't wash them there. Sasame had been planning to take them home himself after work. But Kurenai Yuhi's question surprised him. This was getting beyond a secretary's scope of work.

Under Sasame's unusual gaze, Kurenai Yuhi subconsciously lowered her head, a faint blush on her ears. She said in a flustered voice, "If... if you don't need..."

"Then I'll trouble you, Sister Kurenai," Sasame interrupted her. Kurenai Yuhi was startled, then she understood. She nodded, ran back into the room, picked up Sasame's old clothes, and left.

"Is it quitting time now?" Sasame couldn't help but laugh. This mature woman was so shy that she had forgotten her duties. He, of course, wouldn't blame her.

Sasame picked up the documents on the desk again. Konoha Village was currently in a period of peace and prosperity. The various reported matters didn't require him to make any decisions. A quick glance to know what was going on was enough. As a result, his life as Hokage was quite leisurely. When he had nothing to do, he would chat with his secretary or pet the cat.

A knock sounded on the door. Sasame raised an eyebrow. It wasn't Kurenai Yuhi, because the person outside had senjutsu chakra.

"Come in," Sasame said, looking up. It was Kabuto Yakushi. He bowed slightly and said, "The Cursed Mark you asked for has been successfully modified."

"Oh?" Sasame's eyes lit up, and he chuckled, "Bring it here, let me see." Kabuto Yakushi placed a scroll in front of him. Sasame opened it.

Orochimaru's Cursed Marks were divided into Heaven and Earth, and their effects and power were different. But the only common point was the low success rate. In the original story, the combined number of Heaven and Earth Cursed Marks did not exceed ten. And these people were all created by Orochimaru through a process of "feeding the Gu." In other words, more ninjas died in the process. His Cursed Marks required high talent and a certain amount of willpower to be successfully implanted. And the side effects were enormous.

But Kabuto Yakushi's Cursed Mark didn't have such high requirements. Average talent was enough. The corresponding boost, however, was not as exaggerated. Overall, it was a little worse than the Earth Cursed Mark. But that didn't matter. It could be compensated for with the improved Sage's Talent.

Orochimaru's Cursed Mark was more about enhancing the user's power, but it couldn't be used with special senjutsu. Or rather, there was no corresponding senjutsu to use. In the ninja world, only the Sage Mode of the three great holy lands had matching senjutsu.

"Let's call it the Senjutsu Cursed Mark," Sasame closed the scroll. This Cursed Mark was enough to allow Konoha Village to build a special ninja army. It could play a good role in war. He thought for a moment and decided to let Yugao Uzuki handle it. But before that, he had to remove the Cursed Mark on her body. After all, that was left by Orochimaru. Sasame would feel more at ease with the new Senjutsu Cursed Mark.

"Kimimaro wants to see you," Kabuto Yakushi said, mentioning a familiar yet unexpected name.

"Kimimaro?" Sasame was startled and asked, "Is his illness cured?"

"No," Kabuto Yakushi shook his head. "But his body is able to move freely." This was all thanks to the Otsutsuki clan chakra that Sasame gave him. Combined with the cells of the Uzumaki and Senju clans, Kimimaro Kaguya's bloodline illness was suppressed.

"That's good news," Sasame stroked his chin and smiled. If Kimimaro Kaguya didn't have his bloodline illness, his strength cap should be quite high. After all, his kekkei genkai also came from the Otsutsuki clan. Even if it wasn't as good as the Sharingan or Byakugan, it wasn't bad. Or rather, it was better than most kekkei genkai. His battle records in the original story were pretty good. Speaking of which, when Sasame watched the anime in his previous life, he thought the Shikotsumyaku was quite cool.

"Have Kimimaro come see me," Sasame changed the subject and asked, "How do you feel about being a squad leader?"

"It's alright," Kabuto Yakushi said nonchalantly. Sasame saw his attitude and didn't ask any more questions.

After he left, another knock sounded on the door. It was Kimimaro Kaguya and Honoka.

"Hokage-sama," both of them bowed. Sasame took a look. Although Kimimaro Kaguya's face was pale, his complexion was much better. He no longer looked as sickly as before.

"Congratulations," Sasame said with a light smile.

"It's all thanks to Kabuto-sama," Kimimaro Kaguya said in a calm tone. His personality hadn't changed much. In the original story, Kimimaro Kaguya couldn't be considered a villain. He was more of a grateful person. For Orochimaru's appreciation, he was willing to give his life. Now, because of Sasame's intervention, Kimimaro Kaguya hadn't met Orochimaru, but he had met Kabuto Yakushi. During the several years of treatment, he was extremely grateful.

At the same time, Honoka was also doing well in Konoha Village. She had been learning from Kabuto Yakushi and was now the deputy head of the R&D department.

"Why are you looking for me today?" Sasame nodded slightly, then asked.

"I want to become a Konoha ninja," Kimimaro Kaguya said.

"No problem," Sasame naturally wouldn't refuse. However, Kimimaro Kaguya had been lying down for so long that his strength hadn't improved much. Of course, with his talent and kekkei genkai, his speed of catching up should be quite fast.

Sasame pondered for a moment and said, "For now, you'll join Team 3, the ninja squad led by Might Guy." Kimimaro Kaguya nodded, not having any objections. The Honoka on the side breathed a sigh of relief. She had come for nothing more than to accompany Kimimaro Kaguya. Now that the matter was settled, she felt relieved.

Sasame gave a mission bracelet to Kimimaro Kaguya and then spoke to Might Guy. With his personality, he naturally agreed with a passionate and youthful tone. Kimimaro Kaguya was fifteen when he died. In other words, he was about the same age as Neji Hyuga. So, joining Team 3 was not a big issue.

After the two left, Sasame also got off work. When he returned home, only Tsunade and Chiharu were there. Shizune had gone on a mission with her three students. She would probably be back in a couple of days. Unlike in the original story, she didn't do those menial tasks and went straight for a C-rank mission. However, with her strength, there would be no major problems.

Sasame closed the door and walked to the sofa, couldn't help but smile. Chiharu was sleeping soundly in Tsunade's arms, her expression relaxed and peaceful. When Tsunade saw him, she put a finger to her lips, signaling him to be quiet. Sasame nodded, leaned in, and bit her lips. This earned him a glare from Tsunade. But she didn't push him away; instead, she opened the gates and personally welcomed him.

A few minutes later, Sasame walked towards the kitchen. With Shizune gone, he was in charge of cooking. Before Chiharu was born, Tsunade would occasionally cook, allowing Sasame to truly experience her profound love. But now, for her daughter's sake, she no longer cooked. For this, Sasame could only say thank you for saving his life, Chiharu. This daughter was worth having. Cough cough. Since Chiharu was in a developmental stage, if the food was too bad, she would become a picky eater. It had to be said that becoming a mother was different. Even Tsunade had become gentle.

After dinner, the family of three sat on the sofa watching TV. Two hours later, they turned off the lights and went to sleep.

A new day.

Hokage's Office.

"Sasame, there's been a lead on the Tsuchigumo clan you mentioned before," Kurenai Yuhi said, taking out a document. Sasame took it and opened it.

The Tsuchigumo clan possessed a special forbidden jutsu. This forbidden jutsu, when implanted into a clan member, could absorb a large amount of senjutsu chakra. Then, with the user as the center, it would unleash an explosion that could destroy an area with a radius of several hundred kilometers or more. The longer the chakra was stored, the greater the destructive range. The maximum range could be over several million kilometers in radius. But the only side effect was that it could only be used once in a lifetime. Because the explosion would also turn the user into dust.

The Tsuchigumo clan had once cooperated with Konoha Village. They played a good role in the war. But this kind of forbidden jutsu was destined to make the population smaller and smaller. Now, there were only ordinary villagers left. The only two people qualified to use the forbidden jutsu were the Tsuchigumo clan's leader, En no Gyōja, and his granddaughter, Hotaru.

In the original story, En no Gyōja was killed by Utakata, and before he died, he engraved the forbidden jutsu on Hotaru's back. Hotaru fled and met Utakata, the Six-Tails Jinchūriki, and became his apprentice. Utakata, a genius of the Tsuchigumo clan, wanted to activate the forbidden jutsu inside Hotaru's body to conquer the world. Hmm, the world was coveted again. Sasame had discovered that in the filler arcs outside the main story, every villain had a dream of unifying the world. If Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha had such a dream, perhaps there wouldn't have been so many problems later on.

The rest of the plot was self-evident. Utakata's dream was destroyed by Naruto Uzumaki. And Utakata used the power of his tailed beast to suppress and unseal the forbidden jutsu on Hotaru. But at that moment, he met Pain, who extracted his tailed beast, and he died.

Sasame was looking for the Tsuchigumo clan precisely to find Utakata, the Six-Tails Jinchūriki, and to have a chat with Mei Terumi. Come to think of it, it had been a long time since he had been to Kirigakure. The current Mei Terumi was probably so angry that she would want to spit a Lava Release at him, right?

"Thank you, Sister Kurenai," Sasame closed the document and said with a smile, "Leave the rest to me."

Although Kurenai Yuhi was a little curious, she didn't ask. She turned and walked to the door, then suddenly stopped. "Your clothes from yesterday haven't dried yet. I'll bring them to you in a few days." Without waiting for Sasame to reply, Kurenai Yuhi closed the door and escaped from the Hokage's Office.

"Tsk, she's getting cuter and cuter," Sasame smiled, stood up, and performed the Flying Thunder God Jutsu.

Kirigakure.

Mizukage's Office.

When a gust of wind arrived, Mei Terumi's heart was filled with joy, but her face sank.

"Good morning, Mizukage-sama," Sasame sat on the Mizukage's desk, looking down at her.

"It's not morning anymore. I'm not as leisurely as the Hokage-sama," Mei Terumi said with a sarcastic tone. "And please get down. Don't disturb my work." Sasame raised an eyebrow. She was indeed unhappy. He reached out, pinched her chin, and asked, "What kind of maid talks to her master like this?"

Mei Terumi looked away and said with displeasure, "I thought you had forgotten." After she said that, she felt she had said the wrong thing. Wasn't this just expressing her true feelings to him? She looked at Sasame, and as expected, he had a smug smile.

"Mizukage-sama's rebuke is well-deserved," Sasame admitted with a nod. "My mistake, I've come to apologize." He conjured a bouquet of roses as if by magic. Mei Terumi snorted and said, "I'm not a little girl. Your tricks won't work on me."

"Then I'll throw them away?" Sasame tilted his head and asked.

"..." Mei Terumi took the roses and said angrily, "Can't you have a little more sincerity when you apologize?"

"There's a card in the flowers," Sasame pointed. Mei Terumi was slightly startled. She frowned and found the card. There was only one sentence on it.

The Six-Tails Jinchūriki, Utakata, is at the Katsuragi Mountain Fortress.

Mei Terumi immediately looked up, staring at him in surprise. Sasame leaned down and pressed his lips against hers.
