A knock sounded. Kurenai Yuhi was slightly startled. "I'll get it," she said. She put down the documents and walked to the door, fastening her collar along the way.

"Lord Jiraiya?" Kurenai Yuhi opened the door, her face showing surprise. Before her stood a middle-aged man with white hair, wearing a forehead protector with the kanji for 'oil,' and dressed in a red coat, with two red lines painted on his face.

"Kurenai?" Jiraiya looked her up and down, smiling. "I didn't expect you to change clothes and look so beautiful."

"Thank you for the compliment." Kurenai Yuhi found his gaze a little lewd, and thinking of his reputation, she felt somewhat uncomfortable. Compared to Sasame, he was simply too different. "Are you here to see Hokage-sama? Then I won't disturb you. I'll take my leave." Kurenai Yuhi bowed slightly and turned to leave. Jiraiya glanced sideways, only retracting his gaze when her back disappeared.

He turned and saw Sasame's expressionless face. He paused, then smiled and greeted him, "Hokage-sama." In his words, there wasn't too much deference. In his opinion, all men were lustful. It had been like that since Hiruzen Sarutobi. Sasame having Kurenai Yuhi as his secretary was probably similar to himself. In fact, it was true. But his looking at Kurenai Yuhi was a different matter. Sasame sighed inwardly, Humans are indeed hypocritical.

"Lord Jiraiya, may I ask what you need?"

"I heard about your glorious achievements while I was away, so I couldn't help but come back to see," Jiraiya's face showed a bright smile. "You're much better than the old man." He left Konoha Village mainly because of Mount Myōboku's prophecy. But it was also slightly related to Hiruzen Sarutobi. He genuinely couldn't stand his various questionable actions in his later years. And Sasame, in comparison, seemed wise and powerful. Jiraiya had been investigating him these past few days. He asked many people, and the answers were largely the same. Everyone praised Sasame without reservation. This made Jiraiya even more certain that he was the Child of Prophecy.

"I think Lord Jiraiya didn't just come back to praise me, did he?" Sasame casually picked up a document. "You've seen many people these past few days, but you haven't come to see me." Jiraiya showed no embarrassment at being exposed. As Hokage, if Sasame couldn't even keep track of his whereabouts in Konoha Village, then he was truly incompetent. Or his authority was being undermined.

"Mainly because I don't know much about you," Jiraiya's smile remained. "Your teacher and I are teammates. The fact that she took you as a student means you must have extraordinary qualities. But as they say, 'hearing is not as good as seeing,' so please forgive me, Hokage-sama."

"Then what conclusion did you come to?" Sasame asked without looking up.

"Hokage-sama, do you know the Great Sage Toad?" Jiraiya didn't answer his question directly.

"I do," Sasame smiled slightly. "I'm a contractor of Shikkotsu Forest." Jiraiya sighed inwardly. What a pity. He had similar thoughts to Hiruzen Sarutobi. In truth, Tsunade wasn't really suitable to be Sasame's teacher. Because there wasn't much she could teach him. But since she had gotten there first, he couldn't do anything about it.

"The Great Sage Toad once had a prophecy that I would find a Child of Destiny, who could bring peace to the ninja world," Jiraiya said sincerely. "I believe you might be him."

"Me?" Sasame shook his head. "I don't think I'm any Child of Prophecy."

"Why not?" Jiraiya asked, somewhat surprised. "You now possess power comparable to the God of Shinobi. Don't you want to do something?"

"If you're referring to bringing peace to the ninja world, that's not something I can do alone," Sasame said casually. "True peace will only come when everyone is a Child of Prophecy."

"That's impossible!" Jiraiya's eyes widened at his words, and he instinctively denied it. Although Sasame's words seemed to make some sense, in his opinion, it was an offense to the Great Sage Toad. He would not accept such a statement.

"The Great Sage Toad's prophecies are never wrong," Jiraiya said firmly. "Only the Child of Prophecy can bring peace to the ninja world."

"So, what do you want me to do?" Sasame glanced at him and asked.

"Naturally, to find the path to peace," Jiraiya said without thinking. "Although I don't know it now, the Child of Prophecy will definitely know."

"Lord Jiraiya, don't you think it's a bit ethereal to place all hope on one person?" Sasame twitched his lips and asked.

"That's what the prophecy says," Jiraiya said after a moment of silence. What a sad life. Sasame was too lazy to say more. "Lord Jiraiya, did you come here just to talk about the Child of Prophecy?" Jiraiya noticed the impatience in his tone and gave a wry smile. It was the first time he had encountered a ninja so indifferent to prophecy. Could it be the Slug Sage's influence? He pondered for a moment, deciding to postpone the matter of taking a student. After all, if Sasame didn't believe in Mount Myōboku, he naturally wouldn't become his student.

"Hokage-sama, do you remember a mysterious Wood Release user who appeared during the old man's tenure and took Shisui Uchiha away?" Jiraiya's expression subtly changed, and he asked seriously.

"I remember. But so far, there's been no trace of him," Sasame feigned confusion. "Lord Jiraiya, are you bringing this up because you have a clue?"

"Indeed," Jiraiya nodded. "That mysterious Wood Release user is from an organization. I've currently identified one member named Kakuzu."

"Kakuzu? I've heard that name. He's a famous bounty hunter in the black market," Sasame paused. "Are you sure your clue is correct?"

"Yes," Jiraiya said solemnly. "Kakuzu used to be a lone wolf, but these past few years, he's often been working with a teammate. And both of them wear the same outfit; there's no doubt they belong to an organization."

"That's surprising," Sasame stroked his chin. "For an organization to attract such powerful individuals right under the nose of the Five Great Villages, they must have big ambitions."

"I think so too," Jiraiya's expression grew grim. "For Konoha Village's safety, this organization must be exposed."

"Hmm," Sasame agreed. "I'll leave this matter to Lord Jiraiya. Konoha Village will give you all its support."

"Yes!" Jiraiya replied with a serious tone, then relaxed, chuckling. "I knew Hokage-sama would agree." His purpose in seeing Sasame was precisely to get his approval. Although he held a high position, he wasn't the Hokage after all. Outside, mobilizing personnel or resources required approval. But that would make things rather slow. If he missed a good opportunity, it would be a huge loss. Therefore, giving a heads-up was necessary. Of course, he also wanted to check Sasame's character. Currently, although Sasame didn't care much about prophecies, he was quite concerned about Konoha Village. From this, it could be deduced that he was definitely not an evil person.

After saying these two things, Jiraiya didn't linger and simply disappeared.

Hokage Secretary's Office. An Anbu ninja appeared, relaying the news of Jiraiya's departure. Kurenai Yuhi nodded, then went to the Hokage Office door. She reached out and unbuttoned the top button of her shirt, revealing the white curve of her chest.

"Sasame," Kurenai Yuhi pushed open the door and asked, "Lord Jiraiya, is there anything you need to instruct?"

"Just have the Anbu cooperate with his actions," Sasame casually waved his hand. He had no interest in Jiraiya's life or death. Since he was going down the old path of investigating the Akatsuki, just like in the original work, let him.

"Understood," Kurenai Yuhi replied efficiently, then asked, "Anything else?"

"No," Sasame thought for a moment. "Kurenai-san, you can go back to work." However, Kurenai Yuhi didn't leave; instead, she stood there, seeming a little hesitant.

"What's wrong?" Sasame didn't hear the sound of high heels, so he looked up and asked.

"How are you feeling now?" Kurenai Yuhi's heart subtly quickened. She asked with a concerned expression, "I saw you were quite tired earlier. If you're still tired, I can continue to massage you."

"I'm fine now," Sasame was slightly startled, still feeling a little touched.

"That's good then," Kurenai Yuhi breathed a sigh of relief and smiled. "Dealing with Konoha Village's affairs is hard work. If you feel tired next time, you can come find me again."

"I certainly will," Sasame agreed without hesitation. How could he refuse such a good offer?

"I'll head back to my office now. Call me if you need anything." Kurenai Yuhi turned and left, her high heels clicking. As she closed the door, she smiled at Sasame again. Coupled with her leaning posture, revealing her cleavage, it was quite alluring.

"Very nice," Sasame again thought to himself that being Hokage wasn't all hard labor. Currently, there was only one Hokage secretary, Kurenai Yuhi. When Ino Yamanaka grew up, there would be two. Ahem. But that's a story for another day.

Sasame recovered and began to deal with Konoha Village's official business. After finishing most of it, he fell into a state of idleness. He thought for a moment and decided to check on his student, Sasuke Uchiha.

He activated the Flying Thunder God Technique. Sasame appeared at the Uchiha clan compound.

"Teacher Sasame," Sasuke Uchiha saw him and immediately stepped forward to greet him. He already knew that the Hozuki Castle trip was Sasame's way of helping him awaken his eyes, so he was quite grateful. After obtaining Satori, his dōjutsu power was increasing every moment. Once it reached a certain limit, he would be able to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan. And it wouldn't require intense emotional stimulation; it would just happen naturally.

"It seems you've recovered well," Sasame looked him up and down.

"Thank you, Teacher," Sasuke Uchiha hesitated, then bowed slightly. This was very rare for him. Firstly, Sasame had indeed treated him well. Secondly, it was Mikoto Uchiha's request. In his mother's words, "Although Sasame is only a few years older than you, a teacher is like a father for life. You shouldn't be too casual in front of him; you should treat him like an elder."
